I didn't. I knew it was special while it happened. Obviously I didn't grasp HOW important bcuz I thought it would continue to elevate. Not just in revenue but skill level. Then they killed B.I.G. He was pushing the skill level up for everyone. Nas, Mobb Deep & Wu too of course. There wasn't many "wack" rappes back then. Even the underground or at least lesser known groups were ppl like the LEGENDARY Roots Crew. Black Thought BEEN killing shit forever. Definitely great times.
