Thank you for these videos. I almost bought the overpriced LifeLock/Norton360 combo

Is using Aura to lock Experian only sufficient? If not, since you can't use Aura to lock the other two with the push of a button, what is the recommended approach?

Call each of the 3 bureaus or freeze on their websites. I made a walkthrough here: ruclips.net/video/TUifgFXaDvM/видео.html&ab_channel=SecurityHero
Someday I'd like to see Aura, or Lifelock, or any company, to offer a lock at each bureau but for now you still need to do some manual work unfortunately.

Are the Aura VPN servers US based and stable? I would like to try Aura but not if the VPN doesnt work well. I dont need any advanced features, just a good stable connection and speed through VPN on a few mobile/desktop devices.

The VPN works well but it's limited and more of an IP masker than anything.
If you don't care about selecting servers it's fine, but if you want any additional VPN features I'd go with a dedicated VPN like Surfshark (which comes with some privacy tools as well)

Aura! And DeleteMe. And NordVPN. And 1password. And Malwarebytes.

@@homesecurityheroesso you use all of those. Which one would you recommend if I were to not use any affiliate link?

I am using several and Aura seems to catch any changes within seconds. I applied for a new CC and writhing 5 seconds I was getting alerted by Aura only. When the Social Security breach happened Aura alerted me that my # was found on the dark web and what I needed to do. The other companies didn’t notify about the SSI breach and I didn’t get the new CC alert until a month or so later.

To use Aura, do I have to supply usernames and passwords for all my financial accounts for this to work?

If you want to monitor them, you will link them using a secure third party service. I can't remember what Aura uses off the top of my head but it's something like Plaid (which is safe)

Nope. Only if you want to use their Financial Transaction Monitoring, which you might not. Most banks allow you to receive alerts already, so it's a redundant feature in some cases.
But if you do choose to, you are NOT handing your password over to Aura. They'll use an encrypted intermediary service to do so (same as if you were to link your bank account to a portfolio tracker like Mint)
