In this clip, Quentin Miller recounted how the Drake and Meek Mill track “RICO” came together after he wrote the song and developed the concept. Quentin said that he learned about Drake hopping on the track through DJ Drama whom he worked closely with as Drake seemed to relegate him to a permanent writer status.
Drama didn’t really fw Quentin like that, he just wanted revenge on Drake. The reason he played Quentin’s Drake sounding track for Meek was to show Meek how much of Drake’s style at that time was coming from Quentin. Drama and Meek were plotting against Drake and Quentin was the pawn
That’s why drake played him out cuz quinten thinks like a child and doesn’t see how ppl can use him.

He has good awareness and understands that he was being used as a chess piece to attempt to checkmate drake but it backfired. Everybody in that room had a vested interest in going against Drake. He allegedly slept with DJ Drama Wife, Nicki Minaj had her own personal issues with Drake, Meek obviously had smoke for him etc…
