@Mitchell Edgecomb Hi ! 👋 Yes but I have been living here in the U. S.for 30 years. I usually go back every one to two years but because of COVID19 I had to postpone my trip. You should visit sometime between May and October other you stand the chance of it beimg too cold. So you enjoy the weather sounds as well. It puts me right to sleep. When I was a little girl and couldn't settle at bedtimey mom and dad would take me for a drive and park the car near the South Shore beach amd let me listen to the surf and the sound of the waves crashing. I would be in a coma in about 20 mins, so intoxicating.
I have listened to a lot of relaxing sounds on youtube... I think this has to be one of my favourites. When I was a kid, I lived by the sea and the sound of both the sea and the trees and grass combined with draughty windows - but under a duvet sitting behind the curtains in the house gave me a feeling that I've been trying to recreate ever since. Pure bliss. Thank you.
I agree. For many reasons. I used to spend alot of time down the shore and really miss it. Watching these videos on the last few days because I need sound effects while I'm writing really has forced me to reengage with all the things my senses experience being on the beach and in the water. From the effervescence of the water as it rolls up across the wet sand before receding to feeling the thunderous thump of the waves slapping the shoreline and how you don't realize just how loud the surf is until you enter it. Once in it the ocean absorbs you. I love the feeling, especially in rough surf, and it always amazed me how the conditions of the ocean can vary so greatly that even the force in which the water receding can be so strong....i can feel myself mid-thigh deep, stopping frequently with every want to anchor my feet in the sand below the surface as the water rages by my body. At the surface is an anxious trickling sound but below that, my body struggles to maintain grounded and still as the water digs the sand out from under my feet. All the while sabdblasted in the gush of water flowing steadily past, pulling and tugging At your legs. You feel the array of shell fragments and sand.
So true!!! So beautiful and always , when I am able to walk along the shoreline and look out and hear the crashing waves and feel the wind and marvel at the beauty of such vastness and strength , it makes me stand in awe of the lord God and his glory and appreciate the work of his hands. There are so many beautiful things in this world that were created with such intention and intricacy and purpose. It’s amazing ! God bless you!! Take care
One of the hardest things to find is a recording of waves that contains the deep booms! and profound roar of really powerful waves. I feel I have found it here. There is no drum that carries the same majestic authority and sheer power. Thank you so much for that.
Those of you who think this sounds anything like a storm of the magnitude being shown have obviously never actually stood on a beach during one. I stood on the beach during Hurricanes Matthew, Irma and Michael.
That's what I always hate about these video's. The sound is amzing, wonderful, soothing, and whatever descriptive you want to use. The video is the same five seconds constantly repeated.
I’m a video editor myself, and the first thing I did was check the edit points. Either this guy himself is an experienced editor, or he’s got some raw talent you can’t teach. Unless you’re specifically looking for his edits, you won’t see them. Good show.
When I was a child we lived at Daytona Beach. When this kind of surf built up my dad would take us to the dunes to watch it. He would say "God is on the beach tonight, let's go see him." I still think maybe he was right.

@@Saed-kr7jksome people can't fix things. Don't know exactly what the issue is with them. Some could be parents arguing. Some could be a stressful work environment. Some could be in a loud chaotic neighborhood at night outside their window. Can't just up and leave most times..
@daviedood2503 If the issues are ACTUALLY unsolvable from your side, then it's ok to run away from them, BUT if they are solvable but you are too much of a stupid, lazy, too soft hearted and coward to fix them then you will be in much more worse situations if you dont try to fix your life.
exactly where is this? I’m a huge fan of storms, waves, wind, thunderstorms, being able to wrap up in a big, warm, heavy blanket & sit right on the beach & listen & watch. I’ve never been able to (yet) but it’s my biggest dream.. it’s my serenity.
I don't know where this is exactly but you should rent a beach house on the Washington or northern Oregon coast in the spring if you want to see roaring beaches like this, though I'd go in the early summer so it's not too gloomy the whole time.
I hear your Voice. I wanted to record this myself. When Irma was coming. But I didn't. Thank You. I hear the softness, the salty wetness, the fragrant life of the fresh air. I close my eyes and rock gently. In the freshness. THank You!!
I lived at the ocean for most of my life...even though Alaska has quite a vast coast line, I'm inland. I had been missing the 🌊 🌊 sounds... mmmm I've been listening to snow storms, thunderstorms ~ all peacefully calming. However, this is where my soul yearns💞
Chardo Chickentimber it’s worked beautifully in our house....a chronic poor sleeper...I have used this video and a couple others...getting a solid night sleep every night!!!!
The sound of powerful wind and waves is incomparable performance of nature . I am immersed in pleasure while listening to this natural performance and watching this scenery . From Tokyo in Japan
What I appreciate most is that this is genuine. I'm seeing a lot of videos that are nothing more than water sprinklers in front of foliage and they claim it's rain. Thank you for this...the real deal! Nighty, night!
I grew up in the surf of the pristine Atlantic. Me and my two brothers, 1980s. We didn’t get big waves often, but when you’re 8 the 3-5 ft seemed massive. Parents were way more relaxed, back then- maybe too much. We would float out two milk jugs on a string and if you got tired you could hang on em. Now i have kids of my own. I’ve always been a dreamer. When I’m sleep deprived, i dream deep…big, pounding waves. Huge waves, 40 feet. I can still feel the thrill. I wake up, wanting to yell….”set!!”
As a young man our leave from base was culminated by sleeping the last night on a beach like this. Woke up to sand in places sand didn't belong and soaked but alas to be young and dumb again. Ah the good times. Thanks for the memory.
Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather. John Ruskin
Great ! A cold, healthy-looking British scene; not one reminding people of sweaty, hot bodies; and, identified by approximate location. Perfect to have on when reading MR James', 'Oh, Whistle, and I'll Come to You, My Lad'. It's what I've been looking for a long time. Thanks.
Very pleasant. I turned the volume up and placeed my headphones on my pillow so not to ruin my ear drums and its more comfortable. This storm sound helped me sleep and is a pain distraction. Thank you 😴
Now this is unique and novel... Relaxing to the howling winds of a hurricane and the rolling sea surges Nice telephoto lens footage Glad I'm here...and not there! Thanks for sharing : )
I listen to various noise at night to help me sleep. This absolutely tops the chart! Tied with campfire for second place. Only narrowly behind rain on a window and the undefeated champion … highway traffic in the rain. ✌️
This doesn't 'sound' as bad as a raging hurricane; Just sounds like a normal, warm, breezy day at high tide! Still - Very nice having on in another window and just working here in my office! I used to own a home on A-1A in Ponte Vedra, FL and this is what it was like from our breezeway. I imagine me there now. (wishing we never sold!)
Was just watching the live feed of Hurricane Dorian (just reaching the Bahamas at this current time) and wondered if someone had made such a video of 'relaxing' hurricane sounds. Sure enough, here it is. 😊 🌀🌀 I actually sort of like it for studying.
Been watching and keeping track of it all day today, watching the Weather Channel. I'm wierd, but, I like hurricanes and hurricane season, too bad I live in Michigan tho. Buuut, we get our own types of hurricanes, called Polar Vortexes, they're basicly hurricanes, just with snow instead of rain.
I listen to this and I'm transported out to the Pacific coast where I used to spend hours sitting on a log and listening to storm waves crashing onto the beach. Nothing much beats a storm slamming against the northwest coast of the US.
Demous, we have our fan on in our bedroom at night all year long. If something happens to cause the fan to stop, I wake up immediately due to it being too quiet. Some people don't believe me but it's true!!
Joy Louters I’m the exact same way. I can not sleep in a quiet room. I use a fan every single day of my life. My husband hates it, but there are no substitutions that works for me. I also play this video in an earbud every night too. It takes all kinds........
I was struggling to fall asleep the night before school started up again and so I had a ocean sounds playlist and every time it finished I woke up like wait something is wrong😂
i like 2 go 2 sleep hearing my gramma fottin in da nex room - sometime it stank but sometime it dont it dependz on what she done eat she eat liverz or gizzardz it gon stank like a bitch but it put me 2 sleep so fk it
When I was a child I visited Mont Saint Michele with my parents. But there was no storm there was just this very bad weather which you find there almost always - where you can‘t find the sun anywhere for hours and the horizon is difficult to distinguish from the sea and the mud. The color of this video give a good impression of the area in winter/early spring :)

Ohhh finally something that reminds me of my childhood, best sleep ever with crazy weather and pounding waves and fizzing. Thank you for this and I agree the calmer waves do not work the same. It is totally different mood.
Thank you for helping me. You make it so easy for me to fall asleep and not have to listen to my husband snoring like a dinosaurs roar 😊🌌🌙
Haha.. I am pleased to hear it works for you!!
😉yes you're a life saver (his) 😂 sorry English humour 😆.
I love the sound of the ocean especially when it's rough seas I think you're a genius and extremely blessed to live by such beautiful sounds and scenery, I have to travel roughly 2 hours before I get anywhere near the beach, so thank you very much x
Ikr!? Lol
I'M SO GLAD TO HAVE FOUND THIS! makes my crying baby calm.
Thats great to hear!! Thank You!!
Wait does it really work on baby?! I'm gonna try it now
K it doesn't.
Stop lying
My baby loves tornado sounds
This my favorite!!!! I love to play this on my tv and turn the brightness way down. My fan just takes it to another level 😊
Miss Ec Same here! I do love falling asleep listening to God's powerful creation! So relaxing! 🦋God ßless🦋

You're Welcome! Pleased you liked it ;)
Yaoi fun fu
so you when you get stressed you come here to run away from it instead of fixing it?
@@Saed-kr7jksome people can't fix things. Don't know exactly what the issue is with them. Some could be parents arguing. Some could be a stressful work environment. Some could be in a loud chaotic neighborhood at night outside their window. Can't just up and leave most times..
@daviedood2503 If the issues are ACTUALLY unsolvable from your side, then it's ok to run away from them, BUT if they are solvable but you are too much of a stupid, lazy, too soft hearted and coward to fix them then you will be in much more worse situations if you dont try to fix your life.
Just makes you want to grab a blanket, some food, and have a relaxing picnic outside
I wish all sleep and peace who read this. May God bless You. 🙏😴💕
This is my heavenly peace. Thank you so much! Words cannot describe what I'm feeling right now.
It's amazing how a storm can be so calming!!!
I wish I could go to this beach to hide from everyone
No more stupid job and phone
I assume it's because the storm enforce mindfulness
exactly where is this? I’m a huge fan of storms, waves, wind, thunderstorms, being able to wrap up in a big, warm, heavy blanket & sit right on the beach & listen & watch. I’ve never been able to (yet) but it’s my biggest dream.. it’s my serenity.
I don't know where this is exactly but you should rent a beach house on the Washington or northern Oregon coast in the spring if you want to see roaring beaches like this, though I'd go in the early summer so it's not too gloomy the whole time.
In the title, it says the north sea
I hear your Voice. I wanted to record this myself. When Irma was coming. But I didn't. Thank You. I hear the softness, the salty wetness, the fragrant life of the fresh air. I close my eyes and rock gently. In the freshness. THank You!!
U kinda strange
I lived at the ocean for most of my life...even though Alaska has quite a vast coast line, I'm inland. I had been missing the 🌊 🌊 sounds... mmmm
I've been listening to snow storms, thunderstorms ~ all peacefully calming. However, this is where my soul yearns💞
Live on the east coast ✈️🌍Carolinas 👍 love the ocean , no place better 🇺🇲🇺🇸😏
This exactly how it is at the beach right now! thank you for bringing it home... (big storm in Calif.)
Pleased you liked it ;)
Chardo Chickentimber it’s worked beautifully in our house....a chronic poor sleeper...I have used this video and a couple others...getting a solid night sleep every night!!!!

I would love to be listening to this in a tiny, warm hut located at the beach, lying in bed in the dark. This is really beautiful
This is absolutely awesome. Am in hospital at moment doing a sleep study. What a find this is. Thank you so much.

What I appreciate most is that this is genuine. I'm seeing a lot of videos that are nothing more than water sprinklers in front of foliage and they claim it's rain. Thank you for this...the real deal! Nighty, night!
The sound of the wind and the scene on the video somehow inspired me to write a movie script about Crusades. So, thank you :)
That's kinda awesome :)
Just wanting an update on how the script writing went 🙂
I grew up in the surf of the pristine Atlantic. Me and my two brothers, 1980s. We didn’t get big waves often, but when you’re 8 the 3-5 ft seemed massive. Parents were way more relaxed, back then- maybe too much. We would float out two milk jugs on a string and if you got tired you could hang on em. Now i have kids of my own. I’ve always been a dreamer. When I’m sleep deprived, i dream deep…big, pounding waves. Huge waves, 40 feet. I can still feel the thrill. I wake up, wanting to yell….”set!!”
I feel like I'm back in Florida now, thanks
That's what I'm talking about! That's very ASMR!
I'm glad you like it
The sea reminds me how great our Lord is
As a young man our leave from base was culminated by sleeping the last night on a beach like this. Woke up to sand in places sand didn't belong and soaked but alas to be young and dumb again. Ah the good times. Thanks for the memory.
David, how fortunate you are to have such a memory. I believe your entire life is brighter for it. Be well and sleep with nature.
This is the sound of silence! !
Naw it ain't nigga. Its da sound of waves.
AC on, tucked nicely n ma bed, no lights and just listen to this .......soooo relaxing in
U in yo mas bed? Yall get some help

On long deployments this was the constant; especially far north. I always slept deeply on board ship.
I grew up on the Nordsea. Now I live in the desert. I enjoy the waves and the wind and I'm homesick.

Since pass comments seem over 2 years old, I thought I'd let you know that this video is still the best!
I love the rough sound of the harse wind & rain, its sooo relaxing ; definitely puts me in sleep mode.😔💤
Glad you enjoy it!
I imagine I'm snuggled down in sand dunes close by and this is my view ... Amazing . thank you
Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather. John Ruskin
So true! 😊
Well said, very well said!
Very optimistically well said 👍 🇺🇲 🇺🇸 👀👣😊
Thank you 😴
+Margaret Davies Glad you enjoy it;) Thank you verry much!!
Now this is unique and novel...
Relaxing to the howling winds of a hurricane and the rolling sea surges
Nice telephoto lens footage
Glad I'm here...and not there!
Thanks for sharing : )
You're welcome! Thanks a lot for the compliment!!

Shows the importance of sand dunes with sea oats. Without them...a storm like this would cause considerable erosion.
Oh yes it would baby my god
@@whitevoodooman7276 is hysterical lol but
God is good ..!
It's not real
One of my favourites storm beaches😍👍
I listen to various noise at night to help me sleep. This absolutely tops the chart! Tied with campfire for second place. Only narrowly behind rain on a window and the undefeated champion … highway traffic in the rain. ✌️
This doesn't 'sound' as bad as a raging hurricane; Just sounds like a normal, warm, breezy day at high tide! Still - Very nice having on in another window and just working here in my office! I used to own a home on A-1A in Ponte Vedra, FL and this is what it was like from our breezeway. I imagine me there now. (wishing we never sold!)
This has been the most helpful thing ever for finishing my final papers; thank you
Great to hear! Thanks a lot!
Relaxing Soundzzz i have one question, how did you record that?
did you pass?
Reminds me of my childhood on Lake Michigan during stormy summer nights.
The wind and sand and beach air blowing...try a beach workout if you can in the morning...a new level
I love all these sounds it helps us sleep when we can't
Love this too 💕💕💕
I always come back to this one reminds me of Scotland
Loving this. Beach and waves
Me loving this to Tu lol funny yes ! no ?
This is the best sleeping video out there on RUclips!

I have my fan and rain video on every night and if the internet goes out I wake up when it gets quiet. I do believe you.
Joy Louters
I’m the exact same way.
I can not sleep in a quiet room.
I use a fan every single day of my life. My husband hates it, but there are no substitutions that works for me.
I also play this video in an earbud every night too.
It takes all kinds........

I had a very peaceful session of meditation with the calming sound of the sea. Lord Buddha's blessings to all 🙏

Two of my 11 dogs are snorers and this worked perfectly to drown out their snoring and help me and my pack sleep soundly!
