Marissa Fairfield Right? I was literally just thinking the same thing! Whenever I'm feeling stressed or overwhelmed, I just come to either Jess (or Kathleen's, ironic that this is her nail polish brand haha) to relax and to take my mind off things. ☺️ So informative and so fun and enjoying to watch. ☺️
I ordered mine on launch day and I got them four days later! I wish the launch had been smoother for everyone though. I have used all of them now and I am so excited about their formulas! I have been using them as my base color and adding coordinating holographic polishes on top and they really don't chip for days so I'm freakin stoked! 😃😃😃 great video, as always, Jess!
I love how wide the brush is, I just wish it was a litttttttle longer. My favorite brush on a nail polish is the wet n wild, which is similar, just a little bit longer. I dont have super long nail beds and I even feel the brush is a bit short. I think if in the future she makes the brush a bit longer, they with be PERFECT.
That was my only issue with it too. It was just too short. I have wider nails so the width was great, it was just so short that it allowed a lot of polish to build up really quickly from running down the stem.
i've always wondered what you meant when you say blues can smell funny bc i've never had that happen to me. but now i finally know lol Gumption! does have a strange smell. i still love it though!
I hated the brush at first too. I'm so used to longer/skinnier brushes. But I worked slowly as I always do. And it worked out fine as always! Luckily. Just need some getting used to these brushes... Xx
I hate a wide brush but I use it on its side so it's thin. I have tiny nail beds for my pinkies and index fingers. that is a work around though for anyone interested
Everyone seems to be swatching this collection, but I can't help thinking these colors are nothing new except for maybe Caramello. But as always, Jess, you do such a great job with your vids!
Ann King as with any brand new company. They come out with basic colors first to get the formulas and everything down, then they start with more unique colors. With this being her first launch she needed to have more standard colors so as to appeal to a wider audience. You can only do a color so many times before dupes start popping up all over the place 😊
I don't have either of these two polishes. But KL Caramello reminds me of the Sally Hansen CSM Yummy Yam. I know everyone went ape 💩 over last year. I wonder how close they are? Jess, just wanted to say I always look forward to your videos. By far the best swatches and very informative. Thanks for all your hard work!
I waited for your video and some other swatchers to talk about these, before making a purchase. The ones I would get, are the ones you mentioned, but I feel like I don't need them, which has made me talk myself out of purchasing them many times.
is it the lighting or is brick side walk brighter here? Im wearing that one now it id looks more brick red or a brownish red then a brighter red!? The shipping issues was more annoying then anything else. I preordered and jess got hers weeks way before me lol.
Mila R. I have both and Playing Koi isn't quite so red. It leans more orange/brown 🤔 and the formulas are different. Playing Koi is more of a crelly/jelly where as Brick Sidewalk is more cream. That's just my options tho. They're different enough to warrant owning both of them 😊
Where did you buy these nail polishes, and what is the prices, because I really like these colors, like the brown and the dusty pink, , I don't know how old you are, but back in 1979-80 Avon had a color that was called plum parfait , it was a cream, the color was a creamy light tan, with a hint of plum, and it was a beautiful color, I have been trying to find a color that comes close to it but I have not had any luck, I see that you have many shades of polish, and you probley get polishes from different company , but if you ever run across a color like the one I was telling you about , please let me know, because I would buy several bottle of the color, it looks great on every skin tone, from the whitest to the darkest, it is just the prettiest color that I have ever seen, I enjoy watching your videos,
I sent two emails to my PR contact asking if the samples were coming (they had already emailed and asked for my shipping information) and didn't get a response either, so I finally broke down and bought them. The launch seems like it was pretty messy.
Does anyone have difficulty with applying the right amount of polish? The consistency is much thicker than other polishes that I'm used to....Maybe I'm just bad at applying nail polish
I'm assuming that they're made and distributed by a 3rd party, but Kathleen is involved with the creative process...colors, names, logo, bottle design, etc.
Mine had some pigment lines and separation in it, so it wouldn't surprise me if there was some discrepancy in the color on that one from bottle to bottle. Different phone/computer screens and looking at the color on different skin tones can make a HUGE difference as well though.
I ordered four of the KL Polishes. We used all four polishes a few times. Within 24 hours they all chipped to the point of having to repaint. I contacted the company to find out how we could resolve this. Thinking maybe it was a bad batch. It happens. I heard most people say there polish did not chip for a good while. The customer service rep was ridiculous. They offered ZERO help and was truly rude. Very disappointed in the way they handled this situation. I know have $35 worth of polish I can not use. I like Kathleen. DO NOT LIKE her customer service reps. She was unprofessional, accusatory and it wasted my money and time.
Don't forget, you can use code JESSFACE for 10% off on klpolish.com!
I dont know how you dont have a bigillion subs, your videos are soooo helpful!
Nail Encyclopedia seriously I look forward to every single video she posts because not only are they super informative, but they are relaxing! haha! 💜

I love your videos. You are so thorough and your descriptions are terrific. Your filming is fantastic. Keep up the good work and thank you.

Taylor Kolb I loveeee the Wet n Wild Megalast brush !!!
Dude, your videos are the best. I don't even wear a lot of polish (I'm super picky) and your vids help me weed out which I want.
caramello is so beautiful! love it.
Thanks for the swatches on this collection I love that mustard color as well as Zooey. Great job Jess!
yesssss i love that you're reviewing . you're the toughest reviewer!
Your eyes are POPPIN' in this video! What a gorgeous shade of green.
Yesss so happy you finally reviewed love it!!
Zoey seems similar to my all time favourite - OPI's tickle my France-y. Love it!
Yea I'm super excited to see you review these!!!
Zoey and caramello 😍😍 brick sidewalk looks great against your skin. thanks for reviewing these!
These are beautiful! I love Caramello! Thanks for swatching!
Caramello is such a pretty pretty shade 😍😍😍😍😍😍
I'm looking forward to your swatches of the Zoya Naturel 3 collection!
Does anyone have a caramelo dupe? It's still sold out😩
I like Zoey the best , nice swatches J 💙
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THOSE BRUSHES!
I've been waiting for a review from you. Yay!
I love the brush! It covers my nail and I have almost no cleanup to do. Thanks for your video!
As always, lovely video. I love your channel!

You did an amazing job with this review! Just subbed
Been waiting and hoping for you to do a video on this 😍
I hate a wide brush but I use it on its side so it's thin. I have tiny nail beds for my pinkies and index fingers. that is a work around though for anyone interested
Love Caramello and Brick Sidewalk 💕💕💕.
Love, love, love that Zoey!!!
I can see the challenge with the brush as you apply. It looks like the stiffness makes the polish drag and leaves light spots.
I love brick sidewalk!💛
Everyone seems to be swatching this collection, but I can't help thinking these colors are nothing new except for maybe Caramello. But as always, Jess, you do such a great job with your vids!
Ann King yup nothing neww

Ann King it may be nothing new but the formula on these is incredible and way cheaper than the others I have which tend to chip faster.
beautiful colors
I was hoping you would review these!
I'd love to compare Brick Sidewalk to OPI Skyfall. I fell in love with it and am still kicking myself because I did not buy backups
zoey is the color i never knew i needed
Great swatch video. Caramello looks like baby food color. Liked some of the other colors.
Had the same experience although I like the brush!
I waited for your video and some other swatchers to talk about these, before making a purchase. The ones I would get, are the ones you mentioned, but I feel like I don't need them, which has made me talk myself out of purchasing them many times.
Hi! I was waiting for your review on these! If you do end up remembering a dupe for Brick sidewalk, please please please let me know :D
i'm really waiting for this swatches video since Kathleen announced about them!
But they don't ship to my country😭 SAD😭
Great video ❤️👍🏻
I loved them all!!😍
Can you do dupes for these please!
is it the lighting or is brick side walk brighter here? Im wearing that one now it id looks more brick red or a brownish red then a brighter red!?
The shipping issues was more annoying then anything else. I preordered and jess got hers weeks way before me lol.
I wanttt Carmello but its already soldout on the website.
:(
I want Caramello so baaad but I'm so broooke xP Are these limited edition?
I haven't heard anything about them being limited, but I'm not sure.
is Brick Sidewalk a dupe for Essie Playing Koi?
Mila R. It looks a lot pinker and less orange than Playing Koi.
Mila R. I have both and Playing Koi isn't quite so red. It leans more orange/brown 🤔 and the formulas are different. Playing Koi is more of a crelly/jelly where as Brick Sidewalk is more cream. That's just my options tho. They're different enough to warrant owning both of them 😊
musigalglo thanks!
Melissa Coy I see, thank you!!

Does anyone recommend what top coat to use?
Am I the only one who likes the brush
I ordered mine the day they launched and still have not received it. Emailed the company...no response. Super frustrating!
I sent two emails to my PR contact asking if the samples were coming (they had already emailed and asked for my shipping information) and didn't get a response either, so I finally broke down and bought them. The launch seems like it was pretty messy.
jessFACE90 curious did they give you some kind of credit for you having to purchase the polishes?
gutted im in the uk and cant get it
Does anyone have difficulty with applying the right amount of polish? The consistency is much thicker than other polishes that I'm used to....Maybe I'm just bad at applying nail polish
Is this her line or someone else's with her name on them?
Thanks, I was wondering if this was all Kathleen Lights or just her (kathleen) name on another brand :0)
No worries honey I do that all the time lol :0) x
It's kathleen's own line of nail polish :)
I'm assuming that they're made and distributed by a 3rd party, but Kathleen is involved with the creative process...colors, names, logo, bottle design, etc.
Thanks Holly I thought she would have done make up before nail polish :0)
My Brick Sidewalk is much more burnt orange than red. So weird!
Mine had some pigment lines and separation in it, so it wouldn't surprise me if there was some discrepancy in the color on that one from bottle to bottle. Different phone/computer screens and looking at the color on different skin tones can make a HUGE difference as well though.
Skylynn White mine is too but I love it.
Katie Marsh I love it too. It's just very different, lol.
jessFACE90 All very true! I just had it on that's why I noticed such a difference.
Caramello is sold out ☹️
I got 2 of her polishes, and i hateee the brush soo much :( it makes me not want to wear the polishes lols
I got used to it, but I don't like a brush that I need to get used to.
I'm not a fan of the brush either :/ Great review Jess! The bottles are also very very similar to Nine Zero Lacquer bottles!!!
I hate rubber tops! when I inevitably spill acetone on then they become eternally sticky
ooooóo

I think i'm the only one who does not like this collection.
Love Kathleen but all her polishes I have seen so far 😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴
