I know where this was filmed in Toronto and by whom!! My late parents were friends with both the Franks(Toscan and Angelo) and I was introduced to Mac when it was just a few counters at that point in Simpsons and the Bay.If you were in the giant Simpsons you’re company was going somewhere.❤That video was filmed with WFW as its production company’s which my then best friends grandfather founded back in the day..and I believe it was filmed at the Summerville pool and athletic centre on Lakeshore Ave because that architecture is familiar. Wish I had kept all my Mac from back in the day but much of it went bad…maybe I’ve got an old cubic lying around though. Mac before Estée Lauder bought it will always be an iconic Toronto makeup brand ❤❤

When I was a Trainer for MAC in the 90s I watched that video CONSTANTLY as I'd have to play it in trainings. I loved it, and can still quote it word for word! Fun fact: I still have the videotape (and need to get it converted ASAP with all my other vintage MAC tapes). Fun fact number two: Indrani, Philippe's model, went on to be a prominent photographer and producer and we've worked together several times over the years! She's still gorgeous. Fun fact number three: Philippe hired me at MAC in 1993 and is still one of my best friends to this day! I could keep on going....but will sign off by telling you how much I adore you and what you do, Erin! We STILL need to do a "live" together! I have quite the "ARLT-chives" of MAC, too!

I have quite a few things that I can’t throw, as I am attached and love them. Lots of single shadows that went into the magnetic palettes. I wish I had kept my old lipsticks. As now that I am older I see the value of them with regards to nostalgia and of course memories. Thank you for this vid. It was amazing. Xxx

I remember all of this and I absolutely Loved it all. Wow proof we lined our exact lips not the skin around . simple yet effective eyeshadow. In the early 2000's I bought the lipstick color from Mac called Riveting, and lipliner in Stone. Riveting was this kind of plummy, mauve grayish color and it was a cream. I'd mix it with the color Fluid which was kind of similar, but in a frost. Riveting was discontinued and I worked for Prescriptives at the time, which was also an Estee Lauder line, and someone found 2 old lipsticks in Riveting that were used for testers.
