You might have heard this a million times, but practicing and practicing trains your ears. There are also some great AI tools these days like moises and ripx that isolate guitar tracks and make everything clearer for you. Also, when it comes to solos, definitely slow the track. I tabbed the entire solo at 50% speed and then learned it from my tab, that was note for note to the best of my ability thanks to the 50% speed

I love the solo! He does have quite a few solos like that though. Off the top of my head, check out The River Is Rising and Sugar Cane
