Victoria, I discovered your channel because I was looking for a blog about daily life in Norway, and I've really enjoyed your channel. I live in the US but my ancestors came from Norway. Could you add in details about what living in Norway is like? For instance, when you go to the store, how much do things cost and what are some Norwegian grocery staples? Also, I've noticed things like putting plastic bottles in a large bag....where does that go? Is it for recycling? It's different here in the US, so I just want to learn all the details of life in Norway! Thanks

The place is beautiful and Penny is so well behaved. You can use a long stick to get the ball from under the deck. I recently bought a pair of sneakers that has a bit of orange and pink flame kind of a design on it. At first, I thought it looked weird but the price was good and so I just bought it.

I googled that about 600k persons in Norway own a summer house/cabin, and there are about 5.457 million people living here. But several people can have access to the same cabin, so from my research, about 43% of the population have access to one. So maybe that is a lot? haha ☺

Thank you! Oh no, that’s so sad, I’m sorry for your loss ❤️ I know the pain, I’ve grown up with cats. The oldest passed in 2021, she was 17.5 years old, and then we sadly lost the youngest too, the year after, only 7 years old 💔 It’s a beach close to our cabin so it’s not very crowded. There are bigger beaches nearby that non-locals tend to go to, which is nice for us!
