Victoria, I discovered your channel because I was looking for a blog about daily life in Norway, and I've really enjoyed your channel. I live in the US but my ancestors came from Norway. Could you add in details about what living in Norway is like? For instance, when you go to the store, how much do things cost and what are some Norwegian grocery staples? Also, I've noticed things like putting plastic bottles in a large bag....where does that go? Is it for recycling? It's different here in the US, so I just want to learn all the details of life in Norway! Thanks

BOIL IN BAG RICE!!! I am so irritated with that persons comment. I am Asian and when my husband and I visit family in Norway I have No choice but to use boil in bag! We have a rice cooker, but it’s a 10 cup cooker. It’s easier to use the boil in bag! And….rice is cooked by steaming the rice in the water! That’s why you boil it! Same thing that a rice cooker does! That person was out of line to shame you. Rice is healthy! All your food you prepare and cook is healthy! Delete that idea from your mind and make it disappear, because you are doing the right thing! How do you make healthy rice? Asking for a Filipino American friend? Also, it’s not fear… it’s challenging. Fear is a four letter word. Hugs from California. You are doing a fabulous job!!! Once we had a break-in also in Oslo(Ensjo) and the only thing that was stolen was my husband’s huge, old and stinky hockey bag 🤣 they took out all the stuff from the bag and left it (and there was some expensive things like hockey equipment etc). So it was creepy but funny , I guess they only needed some huge bag 😁

I tried to pick it up during my first year but ended up taking a year-long break. Now, I'm unsure about how to start cycling again. I think I should just give it another try soon
