    I’ve really appreciating everything you’ve shown with satins & silks. I wondered if you’re going to continue teaching us, would you show us how to do necklines that have feather weight interfacing to give stability (so they don’t fall over.
    My caftan pattern has this but I’m not happy with the way they do it.

      I apologize for the delay in responding. The majority of my fabrics are purchased from fabric vendors I meet at international fabric shows in New York or Paris but unfortunately most of them only have minimums and sell to businesses. For smaller cuts, sometime I purchase fabrics from Mood Fabrics in Los Angeles and New York City. They offer a wide selection of designer fabrics.

      I am sorry that I do not have the information at this time. We purchase songs for the purpose of editing videos and advertising. Epidemic Sound is the website we use.

    how much seam allowance do I need to have on my pattern that I can use 1/4 stitch?

      @NedaNiquie  Год назад

      If you want to use French Seam in 1/4" inch width, add 1/2" to your pattern. Nevertheless, I recommend sewing the first seam just a tad smaller than 1/4". This way, you'll have a little bit of laverage to hide frayed threads on the french seam.

      I am accustomed to measuring with my eyes as a result of many years of experience in pattern making, draping, and sewing. A suggestion is given to the viewer regarding the length and width of the edge.

      Actually it is not. The one I used in this video is Standard Presser foot for Juki Industrial Sewing machines. Cheers.
