What's crazy is Evelyn tried to dog Royce and call her garden tool for dancing at a party and having a baby by a player. Yet, Ev has continued to hop from league to league for men and their wallets, and pat her 😺 on national TV at 40+. SMH. I always liked Royce because she didn't back down from them. They thought they were better than her because they were ex- fiancées and wives.
As a dancer myself, I got my whole life in that infamous pool party dance contest scene. Royce DID that before “doing that” was a thing! I felt that the others were hating on her for having, what they viewed as, the audacity to be this cute, little brown skinned girl wearing her real hair and no designer labels and to get up on that stage and command the attention of everyone in attendance the way she did. For the ladies to tell her that her dancing “wasn’t a good look” while at least one of them already had a reputation for “allegedly” sleeping with married men is beyond hypocritical and ridiculous. Those ladies felt that people who looked and dressed like Royce couldn’t sit with them but Royce showed that she didn’t WANT to sit with them and they didn’t like that. I’ve always admired Royce for standing up to them and not behaving like Sycophant Susie who seemed willing to lick the bottom of their high heels in order to be “in”. Great interview…looking forward to part 2.

That's something else I believe Evelyn hated about her that she was natural. If you notice everybody on that show that has a natural body Evelyn has a problem with it's like she's intimidated because she had to pay for breast or she had to do some kind of alteration to herself to make herself be beautiful and feel beautiful but you surrounded by natural bodies and you can't stand the natural body
She became a target the moment she confided in Shaunie about Shaq dm’ing her. Shaunie appeared to use the show cast to get revenge.. the proverbial “throw the rock hide the hand”. IMO. But I’m glad Royce came out stronger for it all.

I realize that the majority in society doesn’t like authenticity. Royce from the beginning was always down to earth and transparent but majority of the viewers was drawn to Evelyn with her mean girl façade and superficial personality which is so sad. This interview was a breath of fresh air because Royce never changed because she was always true to herself and never felt the need to seek validation. I could never understand why SHAUNIE was so pressed to be friends with evil Evelyn ! However when I look back at how many times Shaunie made me/us upset with her Underhanded, calculated Evil ways and her level evilness, Especially the way she participated and the split between her and Jennifer. I realized After allowing Evelyn to continue on and condoning her abuse towards Jennifer they are the perfect pair.
This is one of the most genuine interviews that I have witnessed on this show. Royce is authentic and revealed a vulnerability that is missing in this world today. Glad she’s rebounded and doing well. ❤

Royce is SO relatable I never knew these things about her but I knew I liked her for reasons I didn't know were there. Her early life/college experience is too common. Not being allowed to date and being thrown out into the unknown is such a set up but parents love doing it to their daughters. Love her honesty.
I don't know your age, but parents do what they do out of love and protection, perhaps where they go wrong is not expressing verbally "why". To explain, no holds barred the things that can happen. It doesn't mean the child still won't test the waters but in the end once they have their consequences they will remember the advice/warnings.

Yes, I know that all too well. I was the good girl, the A student who couldnt even go to skate parties or tot he movies with friends. Kicked out at 18 pregnant 5 months later smfh Never had a talk about periods, boys, dating, just being safe out in the world, how to handle business, etc. But all the while being criticized for not being good at adulting or dating smfh

Royce represents those bright-eyed, high energy, and gregarious black girls who are looked at like they’re doing too much! Royce was always super genuine & the natural life of the party. Sadly, Evelyn is still the same. I am so proud of Royce and where she is in her life today. I once plucked a bully in the neck and got arrested. I was very young and new to the state coming from Brooklyn New York. I allowed two people to bully me until I was fed up. I didn't go to jail but I did get arrested. They left me alone after that.
I love Royce we’re both from Orlando and sadly I got a chance to be around her with the passing of our mutual friend last year. And I have to say she is one of the sweetest most down-to-earth people. One thing I liked about her is that as small as she is, she always stood up for herself.
Royce is SO relatable I never knew these things about her but I knew I liked her for reasons I didn't know were there. Her early life/college experience is too common. Not being allowed to date and being thrown out into the unknown is such a set up but parents love doing it to their daughters. Love her honesty.

Sadly, Evelyn is still the same. I am so proud of Royce and where she is in her life today. I once plucked a bully in the neck and got arrested. I was very young and new to the state coming from Brooklyn New York. I allowed two people to bully me until I was fed up. I didn't go to jail but I did get arrested. They left me alone after that.
