Would you believe just as you yelled at the duck to "shut up"...a troop of cockatoos flew over my house, squawking loudly...and they all stopped squawking !😂😂😂
Really enjoyed this video. Such fascinating history! Looking forward to seeing more from my old homeland 🇬🇧 Mum & Dad said to tell you they enjoyed it too! (Love the hints of humour too 😂)
@TravelWithBek So glad your folks enjoyed the show. Makes me quite happy that my videos appeal to all ages. Please say hi to your parents for me. Am now planning my next history walk. So much to choose from!
You'll do anything to avoid a video on Sydney/Melbourne! Even travelling to the UK! 😅 Seriously though, a fascinating look at often overlooked corners of the UK landscape.
Very interesting as usual Rob. But you over looked Huddersfield's greatest historical claim. And that Rob, is that the very first official association for the great game of Rugby League was signed there.
Very interesting to hear about some English history. You must be doing a lot of research on the areas in England to have enough information to present to us viewers. Excellent work.👍
Super interesting video, thank you. I'm getting excited for my trip there next week, and I couldn't have hoped for better primers than your recent walkabouts. I hope you had/are having a great time!
@walkaboutwithrob I'll be in London to start, then up to York for a bit, the onwards to Edinburgh. Disappointed I'm not planning on going Huddesfield way, but I'm sure between the Viking museum and other attractions, I'll get my fair share of some proper history.

@heathertruskinger6214 I knew all that theatre voice training would come in handy one day!
Hey Rob.
I look forward to your channel every week.
Thank you again.
Another fantastic video Rob

@@KeithTelford-te1bq sport just isn’t my thing. Anyway, the video was about the early history of Huddersfield, not its modern history..
Very interesting.
Great video once again Rob! Enjoying the European change too! You should keep delivery content, around the globe! well done!
Rob, love the UK videos! Keep up the brilliant work. Hey!! Why not do the mirror video of Sherwood? (Sherwood Brisbane -v- Sherwood Notts?)
Great video rob! You deserve a lot more subscribers with content like this
@@FirmNo I do indeed! Send them my way please. Pretty please.

@jaks6052 Thanks! I got a good airline deal so thought why not? I was here two years ago but in the summer. Time to experience an English winter!
Another interesting video. You do some great research.

My RUclips friend Alan Spicer lives there, lovely area 👍PS, it's weird to see you wearing a jumper, when back home here, it's warming up rapidly 😁

Gold mate. 😎😎😎🤙🤙🤙

How long are you in the UK for Rob?.
@alleycat8483 Not sure to be honest. Will see where the road takes me...
I believe Keith De Lacy the famous Queensland politician is descended from the most noble Norman family of De Lacy.
Oh that's interesting. Historically though the De Lacie's were right thugs.
🦆🤪
Trump baby 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
