FYI. Those fans aren’t super powerful and if he did it right that kid had to spend at least 2 hours blowing air through the filters to clean them out good unless the company just bought new ones that was very fortunate for you that he pushed it flat for you and crazy that there wasn’t much more gold. Did the quartz vein disappear at 3 meters? I probably would have set an excavator on that hole and dug down 7 meters to see if it kept going if it didn’t disappear great adventure for sure may I ask what year this was? Thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
Hello Great-48, thanks for your comments. The company that 'fixed' the dozing for me had a dedicated team of mechanics to service the gear. The Elephant Reef was still going at 8 feet, but sterile. It needs to be tested at depth, I did get it dug out another metre or so but got no more colours in the dish. It's a fickle game! Cheers M8
Hi Rob, many thanks for your kind remarks. It's kinda like fishing, if you have a small net, you get the minnows. You gotta get out and try new country ... It gets in your head, like I get the itch quite easily and can't just get going around the same tree for years trying to get something that doesn't even weigh! Cheers M8
Hi, New to your channel, watch a few of your latest vids and then thought I better watch from the beginning... glad I did. You certainly have a knack for finding gold, just wondering why you pushed all that soil but didn't process it through a shaker/ dry blower. Did you just detect the ground once the Dozer made a pass or two. You found gold at different depths, in different locations and a quartz reef which I was also scratching my head as to why it wasn't dug up although you probably need a rock breaker for it but you did say it was soft. Sorry mate just feel like I'm missing something here, how long was the quartz reef and was all this done quite some time ago.
G'Day Cap'n ... Thanks for your Comment, sorry so slow in replying ... Now when I'm pushing dirt in search of deep nuggets, I always dish the soil and sample as I go. Also crush any reefs that I encounter. That quartz reef was rotten, it was vertical, I chased it for 10 feet ... And it cut out, I drilled it with a hand drill and didn't get another colour ... Oh yea and I got a D8 in there, didn't see any more quartz, that talc schist is very slippery! It might be deeper, but we're drilling ATM, that's really the only way to test-at-depth ... BTW the reef was about 6 feet long. There are lots of 6-10 foot holes in the bush, these things seem to cut-out at depth ... Cheers Mate ...
@@prospecting101 Thanks for the reply mate, as I watched more of your vids. I started getting a clearer picture of your process, hope I didn't come off as being rude or some sort of know it all, just curious that's all. My younger brother use to drill for the mines up north, hot dry work but fascinating at the same time. Cheers mate here's hoping the test drilling gives you a clearer picture as to what's going on at depth and are you a geologist by any chance just sounds like you've been in the game for a while.
You must of spent countless hours going over all that ground with your detector , shame you did not have a blow dryer maybe you would have found some finer gold, who knows lol. Well until the next video take care 😁
Hi Rodney, yes I spent a few hours there detecting! But, as you may know, I like to pull a chain and go slow so I can walk away with no regrets when it's all over. OK, well we never get it all, and someone will be a better operator and get that deep piece. It's got their name on it ;-) Cheers M8

Hi A, thanks for your input. No, no flour gold in this hole ... This quartz was pretty hard (at one stage) and didn't shed it's treasure easily. I did process all that ore and got an ounce or two, no great shakes. I'm testing the reef in the dish and dolly as I go down ... Cheers M8
Thanks Louis ... I appreciate your comment Mate ... Well I did test most of that ground that was pushed, I didn't get one speck. I did crush and sluice what I dug out of the reef but ... Got a couple of ounces ... Cheers ...
