excited to try this variation of farm. I will say the lack of lighting and oversimplification of steps, for mining out the different sections all at once, do add a bit of confusion and lose me at times.

First off, every other Bedrock RUclipsr doesn’t even mention any importance of Chunk Borders, placements, and mechanics. There are a few. This was one of my first tutorials I have ever made. Do you know how long these take to make? At the time of recording I made 6 videos in 2 days (14hrs of editing). I did that so I could go to college and study. That is why I was gone for 2 months. I noticed my mistake after I uploaded, I didn’t have the time to make a new one. So if you want to say I am not putting any effort to “succeed” then kindly never come back to my channel again. I urge you to watch my newer content. I am putting in 110% effort. Responding to every comment, specifying every important detail. I have always been about high quality content and effort. I am not perfect, and I have seen comments and acted accordingly by saying “if” I do another one it will be brighter. Yet you still talking. Furthermore.. I make these videos for free 😂
I was just about to ask if it still worked for 1.20 bedrock version! Any chance you could walk through the dark stuff with night vision or torches as a part 2, it was so difficult to see. Otherwise great video, I plan to try making this tonight! 🎉
I have found a fix to the issue where the skeles arent grouping into the kill chamber, on the kill side, take off one of the hoppers , the one theyre standing on and fill in any blocks that allow water to escape, you see their heads instead of their feet,
What do you mean by fill in ant blocks that allow water to escape? What block do i need to replace the hopper with, and does that mean that i have to pick up loot for myself?
@@MinerMends Haha I forgot I said this, so where I put the ladder, I followed exactly the tutorial block by block and I ended up digging up into the water (I probably messed up somewhere). I climbed the ladder to do the viewing of the spawner part and somehow I was in the middle of the water that leads the skeletons down the hole 😂 So all I did was change where I put the ladder, not changing the mechanism of the farm at all and it works beautifully. I’m blaming that error on myself, my apologies! Wonderful video!

Good tutorial but the amount of times I had to run back home bc he didn’t tell you exact blocks was kinda annoying, especially since my spawn er was like 400+ blocks away from home

i loved this farm but my spawner was at -56 so i could not make it but still it seems cool and i will keep this tutorial in mind when my spawner isn't at the bottom of the world lol
Worlds fastest reply! This design is a bit outdated sorry. You're going to want to move your skeletons into a water tunnel or have them go into a smaller container. Sadly you're very limited if the spawner is too low. I recommend triple checking your area next time!

So firstly I built this farm first try and it was my first ever mob grinder kind of build it worked amazingly I was shocked as a matter of fact so bravo great build but after I’d say 2 irl days of grinding the skellys just vanished the spawn rate is now 0 it’s perplexing as was working as intended just 4 hours ago today so I’m curious if anyone has any theories to the disappearance of my skellys
First off.. Thats awesome this farm WAS working, especially because it wasn’t ever designed for 1.20, so congrats! However, thats a bit bizarre for it to randomly stop, and I do understand the feeling of having something great until it becomes a hassle. The only issue would be is if the skeletons are somehow and someway being jammed somewhere. Did they somehow glitch through? Probably not, you’d hear them. Negating that I have no idea lol. The problem lies within the spawner, or the room where they spawn. Did you change the difficulty to peaceful on accident? Is Mob Spawning turned on? Is there a cave above your spawner where the mob limit is preventing new ones from spawning? Are you near an allowable spawning distance? Are you too close to the spawner (usually not an issue)? Did you accidentally/intentionally place a torch/block in a spot that could interfere with the rates? If all of these don’t apply to you, then read below. Block off the portion where they fall down, so you should only have a cube with flowing water/a mob spawner 3 blocks above (if its 3 blocks, its been a long time). If they still don’t spawn (and afk below the ladder), then I got no clue lol. Rejoin the world, or rebuild it. Obviously something broke, so don’t just assume the farm is bad. Maybe the mob spawner glitched? Minecraft is weird as heck sometimes. Sorry if my response was trivial, but your perplexity is an ambiguity to me, so there’s an infinite conclusion to such a limited question, I don’t know. If all else fails, send me your mcworld in Discord (dm me) and I’ll rebuild it for you out of my own curiosity.
Now would you believe the difficulty was just simply switched to peaceful 😂😂😂 im so sorry to waste your time but the farm is back at full function now but it looks to me that now with this new update 1.20.40 peoples iron farms have stopped working from what I’ve noticed mine included I followed a build by this RUclipsr known as oink oink and credit to him it worked out splendid but since 1.20.40 released the spawn rate of my iron golems has dropped to 0 like so many others I’m wondering if bedrock players will now have to implement a zombie to the build aswell just like Java players are used to your comment was very helpful and sadly it was the simplest and stupidest of answers that solved it but this new iron farm error might be something I could use your insight on
I wouldn’t know at this time because I haven’t tested the new updates. I last played in version 1.20 when it just released. Maybe I’ll decide to freshen up on the game soon. And thats funny, I knew there was some sort of human error involved lol, and maybe thats the case with the iron farm? Make sure you aren’t building it on top of a high ground cave, or near mob spawners/high spawn rated areas.
Convoluted and difficult to follow. Ended up gutting your design halfway through and put in tried and true design elements. Cheaper and easier. Good design on the mob funneling thou.

Thats weird. Are you sure your water was placed correctly? No torches near the spawner? Double check everything. Join our Discord if its still showing you problems and we will try our best to help you.
Found the issue. Just remove the last hopper that was placed on top of the other hopper. It will cause the skeletons to sink 1 block down which will then cause them to cram in! Hope this helps.
i dont know why but even with the water working it doesnt push them all through i have to wait 1 skeleton at a time. any fixes? i followed your video to a T
Hey Ethan! Sorry to hear that my tutorial didn’t work 100% properly upon completion. I would hate to have wasted your time! It seems 1.20 or 1.19.81 had some impact on this farm, because everyone else is reporting this issue. They are also saying the skeletons go in the Tunnel when the campfire mode is on. Let’s do this, to save your time. Since we know there is some sort of update change, let me investigate the build further and if I find the reason or issue then I will make an updated tutorial, or I can just make an updated one either way. Until then, I urge you to maybe watch another tutorial or join our Discord so you can wait for it. Sorry!

Make sure there are no torches and blocks in the container. Just stand where they drop and that should work. If there are too many and not dying then they can’t keep spawning. Just make sure they are dying.
Once again as I have said many times. This was one if my older tutorials and I was still learning. I didn’t think about it during the time of recording. Sorry.
i followed every step or tried to anyways since u decided to keep I as dark as possible I followed every step yet some how my button is not close enough to work idk what your doing maybe if I could see better

Not sure if this it helps or not but a trapdoor right above the second set of hoppers mentioned in the video might help with the skeletons falling into the hole

Collecting a stack of Obsidian doesn't take more than 2hours traveling in the Nether. And you can create an Obsidian Portal with a water bucket + lava. It isn't difficult to do, though may look hard at first. If you truly don't like Gold Farms due to "their difficulty", then sure you can do a Trident Killer. I wasn't suggesting not to haha, I just recommended an alternative. I mean.. Gold Farms can bring you 30 XP in 10mins (depending on the size), it's insane! All in all, its Minecraft, we get to pick what we want in our worlds. Enjoy my man!

I would recommend to apply night vision or put torches around for better vision and navigation, anyways good vid!
Also for stray converter, maybe make like a combination of powder snow and cobweb, that should work

Thats weird. Are you sure your water was placed correctly? No torches near the spawner? Double check everything. Join our Discord if its still showing you problems and we will try our best to help you.
Found the issue. Just remove the last hopper that was placed on top of the other hopper. It will cause the skeletons to sink 1 block down which will then cause them to cram in! Hope this helps.

Oh didn’t know you were referring to that part. Yeah in the previous updates it was working fine. Seems now it needs to be deeper.

Make sure you used a dispenser and not a dropper.
i dont know why but even with the water working it doesnt push them all through i have to wait 1 skeleton at a time. any fixes? i followed your video to a T

It seems 1.20 or 1.19.81 had some impact on this farm, because everyone else is reporting this issue. They are also saying the skeletons go in the Tunnel when the campfire mode is on.
Let’s do this, to save your time. Since we know there is some sort of update change, let me investigate the build further and if I find the reason or issue then I will make an updated tutorial, or I can just make an updated one either way. Until then, I urge you to maybe watch another tutorial or join our Discord so you can wait for it. Sorry!

Make sure there are no torches and blocks in the container. Just stand where they drop and that should work. If there are too many and not dying then they can’t keep spawning. Just make sure they are dying.
Light up every cave tunnel in the area and if that doesn’t work turn down your render distance

When i have to many skeletons on the xp farm they wont get together it goes one in the hole at the time can someone help?
Do they eventually fall down? Your water could be wrong, they should all be flowing down unless the water stream is not aligned correct.

Yes it does but it has some slightly different mechanisms that may or may not cause issues
Not sure if this it helps or not but a trapdoor right above the second set of hoppers mentioned in the video might help with the skeletons falling into the hole

Seems to be a perfectly functioning farm, my only itch is I have to hit the skeletons more than one time to kill them. I’m used to the og farms lol

No because you can just build the Gold Farm at that point. Expensive for such a little farm. This is a starter tutorial, Trident is overkill for this.
@@MinerMendsbut gold farms are way more expensive than a simple trident killer that just uses some iron and red stone.
Collecting a stack of Obsidian doesn't take more than 2hours traveling in the Nether. And you can create an Obsidian Portal with a water bucket + lava. It isn't difficult to do, though may look hard at first. If you truly don't like Gold Farms due to "their difficulty", then sure you can do a Trident Killer. I wasn't suggesting not to haha, I just recommended an alternative. I mean.. Gold Farms can bring you 30 XP in 10mins (depending on the size), it's insane! All in all, its Minecraft, we get to pick what we want in our worlds. Enjoy my man!

Its actually a really good farm. But the video is old and I messed up by not using torches/night vision.
But keep saying its bad
