for people thinking s2 might be useless, it isn't. if you land a s2 weave, then you can interrupt the opposing m1 with your own m1 due to s sometimes, this might not work because their m1 is too fast, so resort to s2'ing the last m1 in their combo.
I know this is decently old and may not have had it at the time, but you can use your counter mid combo. Its a niche use but it catches people off guard.
