TAU Protector Fleet vs Orks! - Massive Battle, Skirmish, Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2

that was close, you did a real number o nthe space hulk, but i reckon that if you had brought the upgraded boarding ability you might have been able to swing it.

Is it just me or tau firepower was just tickling except for gravitic battery

Yeah the Tau guns in general are very weak. They have a lot of them in their ships but they have very low damage. But thats not their playstyle anyway. They focus on torpedoes and carriers.

The most disappointing thing about the Tau fleet is how cool their massed fire looks and how little damage it actually does.

Terrible execution and use of Tau ships. They should of easily slaughtered the Orks. But instead The tau got massacred.
The Tau should of been kept at distance and seeker missile spam the larger Ork warships. Once dispatched their moral would sink and they would mutiny. Envelopment of the remaining ships would focus your firepower at a distance and then it's death by a thousand cuts. You NEVER let the Orks get close or slug it out with them especially if your the Tau or Eldar your ships are too fragile. and your troops are at a massive disadvantage if boarded. Enjoyable battle but a textbook example of how to NOT use the Tau.

Yes. You get close to Orks only if you are playing as Orks too.

А те самонаводящиеся торпеды-ракеты есть только у Тау?

У спейсмаринов тоже, но они бьют по экипажу а не здоровью корабля.
