Absolutely right about finding bat that fits your swing. I have one piece and this 12.5. I enjoy both. This bat was forgiving towards end but center barrel has ridiculously great performance. Both softer barrels that trampoline very well. Bedlam 1pc feels better than tantrum to me bc of loading. This one is right behind it. 1pc testing around 220 on one side lol and is true league night hero bat. 2pc 12.5 I don't think failing yet. Last tested at 245 after approx 200 swings. It's been holding up pretty good. Miken, Worth, Easton is fire this year.
It is a big deal though. It’s out of spec and illegal for play. No? When you accidentally hit someone and they take your bat to be sent off it first gets compression tested. How long is your suspension and how big is the law suit?
Out of spec based on what? If they're not testing for that tournament, then there is no spec. If you hit someone and your bat is pulled and found to fail compression, it's subject to be sent in to see if it is altered. If it comes back clean then you're not in the slightest bit of trouble. That's on USSSA for not regulating the equipment on that day. Not on you for showing up with a broken in bat that's 100% stock.
That’s not entirely true. Usssa reserves the right to test bats at anytime even if they don’t test at a particular tournament your bat can still be taken if there a pitcher hit or an injury. I’m from viera fl and have seen it happen many times. If you hit a pitcher for instance the director can take your bat and have it sent for testing at their discretion. Your “ broken in “ bat is below 240 which makes it illegal for utrip play. So if you do hit someone and your bat gets taken you’re aligned for whatever penalties are available. Just saying to be careful because that’s the loophole. Their insurance dictates they can confiscate any utrip approved equipment at any time
Nsa, they just look at the bat, make sure it's not shaved, rolled, etc, and once they see it's not, you get it back, I have a one-piece tantrum well under 140 I use for nsa lol
Those balls rely on being struck well with a good swing. Bat selection isn’t going to have a huge impact on them unless you’re using an absolute turd. That said, I’m going LS and using code BPHERO for an extra 15’ of distance 🤣
I dont give a mouses booty about testing. I'll never be good enough to play where they test but i do buy a bunch of bats every year so i doubt they get too low anyway lol. Except the tantrums of course..

There's great offerings from literally every brand out there. It's the late 20-teens again.

Jesse is a wrapper hater
They drive me BATTY lol
Most tournaments in the New England area test. I wish more tournaments would. Helps level the playing field and can weed out cheater bats.
Regulating the game can change the outcomes of some games for sure.
