Don't you just love to hear that unique bleating exhaust sound of those in-line eight cylinder engines! Very distinctive, and they drive so well, and with their fifty feet long bodies, when paired they're quite slick and nifty at moving most things! 🙂👍
You'll see em out on the mainline on railtours occasionally, several are still mainline certified, whilst most of them now reside in working preservation on private railways.
