Hah. You think SONY cares about what you NEED or don't NEED? They only care about the padding of their PSN account count to share with their shareholders and give each other a pat on their back.

The closest experience I've had to that was I was playing a game with a friend and we had 2 randoms join. Right after landfall we were gearing up one of the randoms killed my friend. Not an accident or anything just flat out shot him for no reason. So I double tapped him and my friend (the host) kicked and blocked him. Problem solved. And that has honestly been the absolute worst experience... so really good for a online game.
I had the same experience and was confused. I also took a look into the options and noticed I didn't have crosspaly activated, because I must've deactivated it during the launch, when almost nothing worked and the server crumbled, and I was fumbling with the settings to get something to work. This is a little tongue in cheek by me, but it turns out PSN players don't need to be protected from Steam/PC players, but rather the other way around...
They don't care if you want to report anyone. They have a system of speech monitoring they want to employ that bans people regardless of being reported or not.
If you play enough, you will. I've had several instances of randoms getting triggered over an accidental death and repeatedly killing the person who they feel wronged them. There are definitely a few trolls and griefers out there, as with any community.

Also, request a refund. Deluge Steam with refund requests for a game that forced a change in how to access the game months in. Could be a legal issue. Request that refund, state the reason, even if you think it will be denied.
-"Steam allowed them to buy the game", It's really up to the publisher to set regional prices and set country blocks. The tools are available. So, Sony allowed them to buy the game, just to turn around and ban them when the refund window is over. They made no effort what so ever to prevent sales in countries not approved for Sony accounts, Class action waiting to happen if they don't do a open callback. (Extended refund.)
That's why it's important to request a refund and state why. If the laws are changed, Steam may have to retroactively refund it. Sony will be paying that bill.

Everyone should request a refund and state the reason. Steam will get worried about refusing thousands of refunds with the way the game is access has been changed well past the refund window. If enough people request it, they might just start issuing refunds. There might be a legal issue here.
shit happens, people record video, the day after the videos get published. Case in point, Rhykker and Asmongold covering this shitshow today. The day after the gaming community that follows content at large has heard of this
I blame Valve for this too. By denying refunds, they're setting the precedent that it's okay for publishers to use bait-and-switch tactics on their platform with impunity. Buyer beware, I guess.
Many people are probably just using the 'request refund' option. Which goes to the automated system, which will deny it due to playtime or buy date. People need to go to the 'I have a question about the game' so it goes to a real person, and then make their case.
People do care, I refunded when it first came out because of this very requirement. Linking with PSN is buggy and didn't work welll for me. I got to play the tutorial. When I tried to play again it bugged out and gave me more issues. I refunded an awesome game because of this BS. I hope they change it. They lost me and thousands of others based on this.

@@idknameiguess nice textbook example of a (false equivalency) 99.999% of those PC only games are only on PC because of problems the consoles create. while 99% of console exclusives are only exclusive because Sony or Xbox said so. For example arma 3 is only on PC because of problems like the controls would be basically impossible to convert to a controller and it’d be extremely hard to port the game to console. Also the cost of making a game for console is much more than PC and takes 10x longer to add the game and update it. While anyone can make a game and quickly add it to steam. Great video! A few comments: I really like your comment regarding S4 for D4. I agree that what I am looking for is a new experience in each season, so the lack of a deep season theme for me is pretty irrelevant. I also agree that the chance for experiencing the new base line first is absolutely necessary to making sure the game moves forward from a completely solid new base. NRFTW - this is a great game at its core and gorgeous to boot, but there are still core issues. Some I have great confidence they will fix, but I am afraid that some are unfixable without massive changes to the game that could ruin it. So the good and the bad after this new patch: 1. The new inventory space in the chests is HUGE! I can now really categorize the inventories into one chest each so far (I just finished what is there for the story so I am just starting on tier III) 2. The new bindable keys is an incomplete system right now as far as I am concerned. You cannot bind keys to side mouse buttons from what I experienced. So, the new key binding system really does not work at all for me. I was also hoping for a rebinding system for the controller. I generally think the controller is well organized except one large issue for me as a controller newb. Having the right trigger as emotes and the right bumper to use focus abilities is backwards. It is FAR more comfortable to use the trigger + button then it is to do bumper + button. I find that combination much more awkward. So, I was hoping we could switch trigger and bumper. 3. I agree with you 100% that the finished material removal is fine IF they drastically reduce the time gating on fabrication. I even think you are understating the problem. First there is a time gate PER SINGLE conversion. So, for me now, smelting iron bars takes 2.5 minutes PER BAR. On top of that, you can only queue up 10 at a time maximum per machine. Considering how many of these items you need, that is just ridiculous. So, your house is not only a warehouse, it is a factory too as you need multiples of key devices for your chosen armor type. 4. I like your armor ideas and 100% agree that something is needed because there are only 3 things right now that matter: armor, poise and weight. The rest is just what crafting materials do you need. The base item does not dictate anything. It does not even control what affixes can show up on the item. 5. I think ANY change to the stat system is going to be hard to balance. Despite their protestations to the contrary, this is a pure souls-like in every way mechanically. The stat functionality you mentioned is just how they work. They did not innovate in this area one tiny bit, so I do not think they are equipped for a massive fundamental shift in how these stats work. 6. Finally, the core problem I have warned about even before the game came out - random loot and souls likes don't mix well. There are three aspects to this game that are both core and, when combined are a problem that I do see a fix for without breaking the game - loot is random, loot drop rates are appropriately low, and there are no classes so the game does not have a way to bias loot drops to your preferences. This trio is what is causing the problem you mentioned with people not even getting a base item they want to try out. This part of the issue is fixed by the vendors, but the problem persists later in the game. I have played almost 40 hours now and I STILL have never seen ONE 1H sword with any sort of magical properties drop (to be clear, no blue, purple or yellow items). Everything significant I have seen is some sort of slow 2H weapon. No magical daggers, no magical swords, and 1 magical mace that I can't use because all maces seem to require (holy) sorry I don't remember the name of the stat. I do think that, in the end game when loot is a dropping a bit more frequently this will improve, but if I have to be in the grindy part of the end game for this issue to be resolved then I don't get to play how I want until I am nearly done playing that character. The fact that you can significantly modify base items helps a great deal, but it is not the same and not at all fun to be using the weapon you started the game with for your entire playthrough (which I have).
Definitely must be your bad luck here. I found several 1h swords, dagger ( 1 and 2 handed) in pretty much all rarities in the first 10 hours on the game. Randomized loot and souls-like combat does fit very well in my opinion and if you don't get what you need from drops there's still the option to craft and enchant the weapons and armor yourself. Respec will come soon as well as a way to test weapons that you don't have the right specs for.
@@sonoftristram I agree with all the points you made, but it does not change the issue. The bad luck thing was exactly my point. I knew other people were getting them. I was saying I did not and that is an anecdotal example of the problem. I do also agree that this is partially mitigated by vendors and the upgrade system, but both of those are just examples of how you make up for the problems with random loot. They are "fixes" for a problem that the system created in the first place. For me the ultimate problem is that these workarounds may work for playing the game but the core random system does not feel very rewarding when it yields almost no useful upgrades ever until you move to an entirely new tier of gear.
so the game becomes basicly unplayable for 50% of the fanbase, some are deciding to try and get refunds but for a lot of us who can be bothered with linking an account cant get a refund cause you know the "2 hour of gameplay" rule

It's literally just a timer, calm down. Games that also includes timers, fighting games, racing games, time trials etc. Such unserious games, how dare they have a clock in their game, for shame. Also no there aren't crafting timers, there are timers on building buildings and upgrading them in Sacrament. You can craft whatever you want, whenever you want and spend all your time doing it if you want. This is really just the start. All the frustration up to now is from the players that actually read patch notes and pay attention to community content outside the game. A lot of pc player have no idea about all of this and likely will not until someone in voice chat mentions it or they cannot play the game in a month.
Some Update: 1. People tried using registering with a VPN in a different country -> Since it links with your Steam account it notices the difference and you are instantly banned from the game if you try to log in and link it. 2. Arrowhead made a statement that worst case scenario if they cant come up with anything better, the people in countries where there is no PSN service, will NOT be required to link their accounts as they cannot tell you to use a VPN, because it is against SONY TOS. So in other words all their BS reasons are a lie because they will still allow people in that cannot be banned.

Thing is Either this was the plan from the start, in witch case arrowhead is fully guilty, in selling a game that will later be unplayful for a number of players. Or sony forced them to do this later. But if this is Sony that force them, them saying "this was the plan from the start" means they are protecting sony from lawsuits. So they are on the side of Sony, not the players, either way. So, unless they backtrack completely, I am out. while security concerns and psn not being available world wide are huge and valid points, it's not even about that. you can't change the rules after the purchase. that's not how trading works. never has been. we've agreed upon this as a species thousands of years ago.
My issue is that I don't want a PSN account. If I was forced to make one when I bought it I would have refunded it. But since it was waived and I didn't see the one spot they mentioned needing the account I cannot refund because I played more than 2 hours and it has been more than 2 weeks. *edit* Also I love your comment about solo and duo players. I want to play with my friends but the 2 friends I wanted to play with just haven't had the time to play other than a few short sessions. For the most part I don't like playing with randos just because it is a mixed bag of people that don't want to play with anyone lower level or people that just fly through everything and you just don't get to really play other than run behind them as fast as you can.
Steam has multiple reasons to refund not just playtesting. This is honored even past the 2 week time period if the reason is valid. If the game simply breaks due to developer updating breaking the game or if you're one of the 2/3rds of the globe no longer having acces to it. Now if people mass refund this might be a different story as it might be considered a pump and dump scheme. So instead refund but specify as to why you refund it. (btw even if psn is available in your country you can state your friends don't hence you feel uninformed on the product.) As independent refunding might be honored past the period.
@@vonshroom2068 Steam has some level of recourse against companies that cause mass refunds (looking at you no mans sky). So if it really does come to everyone refunding it, this may get spicy.
@@goldenhate6649 Ow yeah, I mean if Sony didn't pay attention to earlier this year the folks a Fntastic (The Day before) suddenly realised the money wasn't in their bank accounts yet before steam pulled their sales. Though the Sony partnership might muddle that quick response quite a bit.
Never heard of anything even faintly like the Helldivers 2 thing. Most bait-and-switch schemes are just about putting a cash shop in the product. Heck, you can play God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn on PC without a Sony account. Both the technical argument and the moderation argument are pretty weird things, given how long the game has been out for without doing any of this stuff, and I'm not even sure what 'griefing' amounts to in a game explicitly built around friendly fire mechanics to such a high degree. They basically took people's money at high speed and included no warning at all about the account requirement, and CMs getting pissy about players being upset about this is... okay, it's still less unprofessional than the actual business thing that the actual game makers actually did. But it also doesn't really much ability when it comes to managing a community. I guess selling all those accelerated battlepasses makes a bit more sense now - HD2 is here to burn down community support into money ASAP, just like Destiny 2 was. Never trust a Live Service? Every crafting thing I hear about NoRest makes them sound like evil morons. Like *it's been said* by some people that crafting is one of the worst, least fun things you can put in a game, but in this particular case we seem to have official confirmation from the developers that crafting is indeed meant to be a pernicious mix of anti-fun mechanics that are fully intended to get in the way of playing the game.
This game was going to be the live service game that most publisher dream of, with the potential of generating a billion dollars plus annually if the devs could have been supported well, but I do think that Sony fucked it up, and will continue to fuck it up.
After censoring Stellar Blade when fans were really positive to support it like crazy and ruining the positive spirit around it now they are ruinning the positive spirit of another game on the road of sucess. Sony is really on a roll of making sucesses to negatives and throwing away money.
Thanks for the news Rhykker. I think when games start going back to what they use to be when released (completed) we would part with our money a little more.
Can't make PSN here in the Philippines. If I can't play a game I paid for, I'd expect a FULL refund. They shouldn't have made it available on regions that have no way to make a PSN account.
This game would be NOTHING without steam. The loyal fans on steam lifted this game up to success with our money and our time and our reviews and our word of mouth and this is exactly how you lose all of us. We need to tank this game as a sacrifice to send a message to these corporations.
@@IIIHUSKIII no the game would not have gotten off of the ground or had any support without steam. It became popular on steam, which allowed it to then be popular on PlayStation months later. If it had tanked on steam nobody would be playing on gaystation.
People keep trying to act this is purely on Sony, which is not correct. Arrowhead signed the contract, they knew what the requirements were from the Publisher. What AH has failed to do for the last three months is clearly communicate with the Steam community "Hey while PSN requirement has not been enforced since launch, it will be coming down the road, please plan accordingly" (or in those 110 countries prepare to loss your game access....). That should of been in-game, on their Discord, Redit, and repeated monthly to keep it in people's minds. They did NONE of that, so no Arrowhead is not blameless here.
Also, fact: If you circumvent the country restriction for creating an account, if you attempt to link your PSN to to HD2 and you are say, in the Philippines, then the PSN website will simply say your region is not supported. In other words, even if you TRIED to comply and CIRCUMVENT the country/region restriction of account creation, you still CANNOT link your PSN to HD2. And of course, if by some sort of ret@rdation you STILL circumvent that, as mentioned as well in this video, it's breaking ToS, and you run the risk of your account being banned and ultimately still losing access to what you purchased. Also, take note that there is literally a SKIP button when the game asks you to link your PSN account. Now the issue with the developers is they're gaslighting and lying to players. They say this is temporary and they "advertised" that this is a requirement from the start, but there is no such thing in ANY of their community channels, which makes it a straight up lie. And them saying "well this has been in the store page" is just pure gaslighting. On top of this, Arrowhead has the audacity to lie that "this is for security reasons" when linking to PSN literally offers no additional layer of security. Cheating is handled by the local anti-cheat software. There is ZERO MERIT to linking to PSN.
I'd fix the quasar by leaving the cooldown large, maybe even making it larger, but shorten the charge up. Currently a Bile Titan can walk up and vomit/stomp you before you can even fire.
New updates: Helldivers is now "mixed" on Steam. Spitz also directly apologized and explained his reasoning. He explained that he didn't understand how many countries couldn't create PSN accounts, and admitted that he overreacted due to the It's funny that implementing PSN accounts is probably more technical work than just allowing it to exist without PSN accounts. The developers have to *add* mandatory checks that don't currently exist to the game. While Helldivers is suffering from tons of technical bugs, they're working on "fixing" something that didn't need fixed. I blame Sony. On the note of balance changes, I agree on the note of dealing with large enemies. They say "use stratagems", but most of the negative map modifiers reduce the effectiveness of stratagems. They give us stratagems like rail cannon orbital, which guarantee a charger/hulk kill, but they don't guaranteed kill Bile Titans or Factory Striders, and the rail cannon is on a ~200s cooldown. That's a crazy long cooldown when some maps can spawn up to 4 chargers at the same time, and other maps can have two Bile Titans in a single bug breach. Eagles are incredible, but they're very inconsistent at dealing with large bugs. There are just more enemies than we have stratagems, which makes it critically important to have a weapon that can effectively deal with them. Nerfing the weapons that can deal with large bugs just makes the game less enjoyable. There's also the problem of Hunters. Hunters are so overpowered that it completely warps your entire loadout around being able to kill them effectively. Some maps can spawn patrols of 100% hunters.. If a loadout can't kill dozens of hunters every few seconds without walking backwards, it's dead to me on bug maps. That one decision makes entire weapon categories completely useless on bug maps. There's a phenomenon that happens when developers balance around the top end of their playerbase, which always leads to really awful feeling balance patches. The most experienced players end up figuring out all the cheap tricks to make the game easier, and patching those out just leads to those top players figuring out how to cheese the game in different ways. If quasar is bad, people will move to EAT for big enemies. If EAT is nerfed, people will figure out Recoilless Rifle teamplay, and start kicking players who don't coordinate backpack reloads. Reducing the number of viable weapons only makes the community more toxic, and feeds negative sentiment. It makes players upset when their favorite weapon is suddenly unusable in situations where it used to be good. I'm not a big fan of nerf based patches, but that's what you get when you push your game toward higher difficulties and balance around the best players. As players figure out how to break your game, you'll constantly have to be lowering the power level of everything to keep pace with increased player skill. I went from constantly dying against bugs, to being able to kite multiple chargers for minutes at a time. Hunters used to be the bane of my existence, but now I know how to balance my dives and stims to stay out of their reach, even with explosive primaries. No amount of weapon nerfing is going to make me lose the skills I acquired, which means multiple weapons are now much better than they were when I started, simply because I know enemy weakpoints and I know how to dodge them for longer. If you want to balance the game around a certain level of difficulty, and make sure I die multiple times per match, it's going to mean massive critical nerfs across the board, because I'm just playing better than I was a month ago. The solution to difficulty based balancing is to just accept that players are getting better, and start pushing out more difficult content, rather than trying to nerf weapons to keep difficulty the same. How about adding in difficulties above 9? Give them more rewards so I'm incentivized to push for higher difficulties instead of farming at level 7. Don't just try to keep nerfing weapons, since it'll just make people frustrated, without solving the underlying problem of improved player skill.
Very well put comment, I've been doing helldive missions exclusive for a long time now and I stil get better every day, I can pretty much survive under most scenarios even with meme loadouts. Arrowhead keeps pushing this narrative that we have to use our stratagems to take care of titans and chargers but they simply don't realize how frustrating it is to have heavy units but no damn tools at your disposal to take care of them, yes it's not about having inefficient tools but it's having no tools at all and being forced to run around like a dumbass until cooldowns expire, and on helldive especially you're basically forced to do just that for 90% of the time with the frequency and size of spawns.
How to protect your data online. 1. Use a drop email for internet accounts. Proton mail, etc. Not one you’d share with a friend. 2. Use a drop phone number. Not one you’d ever answer if it rang. 3. Use a system like PayPal linked to a prepaid capped credit card that you can just toss if compromised. Do this and linking to something as foul as SONY becomes irrelevant. All feel free to add and expand. For democracy!
Wow, helldivers went from one of the most loved games of the year to the most hated, overnight. I already have a psn account so no biggie for me, but it's interesting to see this all play out.
I think i have a theory as to why they are doing this and here is my theory on this: it is due to them losing A CRAP TON of subs due to the Stellar Blade censorship backlash (For those of you who are unaware, Sony capitulated to the whiny crybabies in the gaming "journalism" space and told Shift Up to censor the "Hard R" graffiti, the "Holiday Bunny" outfit in which that was a lot of peoples' favorite outfit in the game along with a few others, toned down the violence a little when the team over at Shift Up marketed the game as uncensored in all countries meaning they LIED to the audience thanks to Sony and now there is this petition started by formoer WoW developer Mark Kern to hopefully restore the game to what was advertised in which there is a whole situation over that as well where he had a BOUNTY PUT ON HIS HEAD over it and everything lesser than that in which proves that there are people who are not all there upstairs on X and these gaming "news" outlets) and they are pulling THIS MOVE BY FORCING PC PLAYERS TO SUBSCRIBE TO PSN to COMPENSATE for the lost subs on that front. So they are compensating one BAD decision with ANOTHER EVEN WORSE DECISION. How STUPID CAN ONE COMPANY GET???? They REALLY NEED TO LEARN to when to take the L and MOVE THE F*** ON. They ARE TANKING the ONLY GOOD MULTIPLAYER GAME OUT THERE RIGHT NOW for THEIR OWN [[[[[[[[STUPID]]]]]]]] GREED.
I was literally going to buy this for my birthday next week, but now, hell no! I guess it's also affecting potential purchasers in the future. Great job, Sony. You've done it again
Yeah, whoever is dealing with the balance of the game is doing an awful job for a PVE game. It would be a different matter if there was PVP. They have done more nerfs than buffs which makes no sense.
@@Jimboquacks I get balancing the crazy over powerful stuff that everyone's using. But when 80 to 90% of your weapons in your game are severely underperforming you need to boost those significantly in some way or another before outright nurfing the overused weapons.
I feel like too many people sleep on things like Stun Grenades, Orbital EMS and the EMS Mortor for dealing with enemys, big or small and in large number. Just to give an example, I killed two chargers simultaneously just the other day by using two Stun Nades and a single well placed orbital precision strike.
I don't know if this will kill HD2, but I don't think it will ever recover. This isn't Diablo 4 where you can play 100% of the game alone so if people leave and come back the number of other players is mostly irrelevant. Helldivers is pretty dependent on the community focusing on objectives together. As soon as those objectives get too hard to achieve due to lack of players the downward spiral will begin.
@@GoBBLeS666 Of course, but it will still damper the feeling of being part of something bigger. This happens eventually with every MMO and they never recover. No matter how much they gimp the hurdles, it only cheapens your victories and ruins the satisfaction of achieving the unachievable. Sony's backtracking the requirements now (probably because they just realized they're screwing Ukrainian players in a political climate that you _don't_ piss on Ukraine) but there's already been a ton of people that refunded their Steam purchase, Steam removed the game in over 100 countries, and the bad reviews over the escapade won't magically go away. Pissing off the player base is suicide for MMOs, and only the hardest hardcore fanboys have a short memory. They're already coping with their woke community managers pissing people off as it is.

The refund window is only for automated refunds, you can still appeal for a refund after that and if you have good reasons, often steam will grant the refund.
People really need to, like, chill about nerfs. To balance things you can either nerf the weapons or you can make enemies stronger while bringing up weak weapons. If you do the latter...you end up doing billions in damage and it meaning nothing (D3 late game anyone?). It's just numbers folks. Ask yourself if it helps balance the game before you worry if the numbers go up or down. Then complain if it unbalances the game, because that is always legitimate criticism.
Just to be fair to Spitz here; he(she) did apologize and acknowledge publicly that he was being a prick today. People are allowed to mess up and walk back what they've done, so I have zero issue with Spitz for now. But man, fuck Sony, and fuck Arrowhead for getting in bed with them in the first place.
Maybe, but honestly, someone with such a short fuse shouldnt be allowed to handle public relations. His job is to make costumers happy or to contain damage. Which often means that even if you disagree with a costumers reaction, you still have to listen and stay positive and supportive. If you cant do that, you are working in the wrong field.
Nah, peoole can mess up but when your in a position such as that and you have the responsibility to the community as an extension of the game itself. I You do better making a response. He typed the message not spoke it on the spot. They had all the time to form a proper response. They meant what they said and just lacked the forethought and intellect to respond in an appropriate manner. That's not a mistake, that's inability to perform they're job properly. Imo
Hell no. Spitz was out of line many many many times even for other patches when people came at him with criticism. I have no personal vendetta against that man, but he is highly unqualified for the job he is doing.
Spitz talks like a manipulating partner from a bad relationship focusing on the wrong things and making everything sound unimportant. Yes, someone's data are important and forcing additional registrations after months of purchase and way outside of the refund window is scummy and actionable.
Should’ve just remained as a PS5 game. A PSN account was always needed. This was talked about in length in pre order. But bc during launch people were having difficulty linking the PSN to Steam it was delayed until there was fix. I do understand and feel for those that bought the game in locations that they can’t make a PSN account have legit grips and should be refunded.
I mean I think the solution is simple. just make it so in order to play crossplay you should have to make a PSN account and if you don't care for crossplay, then you don't need the PSN account. I know Sony is not looking for the most reasonable solution but this might be the smartest move to resort for their sake
For No rest for wicked, why can’t we just shoot a single arrow that generates focus then keep the focus as the big hits. Example would be shooting an arrow with no focus only does 5 damage but once you get enough focus you can do 25 damage. Not real damage numbers but just as an example. Like the stamina idea and I’m going to try it tonight. See how it feels and give feedback. Love this game man
aside from people in countries where psn isn't available, i don't see what the big deal is. we do this for countless games on steam, many of which are terrible games, so we choose a solid game with regular good updates to be the hill we fight this battle on? doesn't make sense to me.
The issue with Helldivers 2 is not just the linking of account through Sony. It’s also the devs management of the game/patches and their philosophy. I get their idea of horizontal progression but it’s garbage. They keep taking crappy guns and making them more crappy. Then they take less crappy guns and make them crappy. I am not trying to play dungeons and dragons with guns. 90%+ of the guns feel terrible, whether due to armor penetration/magazine capacity/amount magazines. They patched farming. Instead of scaling up for more players they scaled up for lack of players. The humans in the game have tech that can travel around the galaxy? Yet their weapon tech/armor tech is primitive. For the most part I have fun when I play co-op with friends but outside of that the game itself is not really fun or engaging. All it does it make me want to play other games where things feel less like Warhammer/DND. A lot of people were not happy with the last update and this news of the Sony account is just the last straw for a lot of people like me.
Personally, when it comes to the equip load and stamina stats in NRFTW they should just combine them. I constantly find I am out of stamina and am unable to dodge or attack to build focus. And seeing how if I want any kind of defense, I need to stack equip load but if I don't have enough stamina, I can't do anything. Due to me sucking at blocking and parrying I rely on being able to dodge an attack but if I die to a boss or a fall or something else, I am stuck with little to no focus and cannot beat bosses. Something needs to change. I also want to be able to remap my key binds on my controller. Having to press the directional up button and it wanting to try and cycle through the items instead is one of the biggest reasons I have died to bosses. The need to heal and have to change how I hold my controller or that is all the button press will do. Try to cycle the item or heal. It is a real pain in my backside.
Arrowhead, also want us to do it btw. On their Discord, they've requested that players change their reviews to negative to give them more leverage against Sony to have the requirement changed.
31:00 I disagree: it seems pretty ok to me that: 1. You killed Warrick and are seen as the hero, so you deserve a house 2. There’s always houses for sale in the real world, why wouldn’t there be houses for sale in Sacrament at any point in time?
And most importantly you don't NEED it. We've literally been playing the proof for 3 months!
It's pure BS.
Hah. You think SONY cares about what you NEED or don't NEED? They only care about the padding of their PSN account count to share with their shareholders and give each other a pat on their back.
If they whant to balance the game they should fix the exploit like the one with the grenades' or the resource quitfarm. It's super annoying getting expoiter in your party. Especially with the fix they made mandatory to play in 4.

Arrowhead is banning people from the discord for telling the truth and allowing anyone who defends them to use racist and homophobic slurs unchallenged and unmoderated
Funnily enough, after 20+ hours in the game, I never had a need for reporting other players.
I'm 200 hours in and I've kicked only ONE player, so from my experience their statement is straight up a lie, they just want our data.
Not today.
Even if they backtrack on this move most people won’t remove their bad review leaving the ratings in the trash. Sony had the easiest W handed to them and they literally couldn’t help themselves…

Spitz is 100% in the wrong and here's why: They're a community manager... they're not paid to dish out sass like the Wendy's twitter account. This is an entertainment product and their job is to be the bridge between the devs & the community. Snarkily daring the community to go review bomb unnecessarily puts their colleagues at risk of losing their jobs as it damages the company's long term reputation.

Great video! A few comments:
I really like your comment regarding S4 for D4.
So the good and the bad after this new patch:
1. The new inventory space in the chests is HUGE! I can now really categorize the inventories into one chest each so far (I just finished what is there for the story so I am just starting on tier III)

"To get people to spend more money" do pray tell, what exactly are you going to be spending your money on in a singleplayer game with no shop or microtransactions?
Putting a 1 hour build time on a building =/= phone game mechanic, you can literally build all the buildings at once, building one building doesn't lock you out of building another for an hour, there's no energy system, there's no way to pay for the nonexistent energy system to keep playing.
God I'd wish people would do the least amount of research before having an opinion on something, but by all means if putting a timer on something is a deal breaker for you, just don't play it, go play your "serious" games.

My issue is that I don't want a PSN account. If I was forced to make one when I bought it I would have refunded it. Request it anyway. State the reason. There may be a legal issue here, changing the way the game is accessed months in.
(btw even if psn is available in your country you can state your friends don't hence you feel uninformed on the product.)

I think when games start going back to what they use to be when released (completed) we would part with our money a little more.
this is to artificially inflate their active psn accounts to report to share holders or cough cough commit fraud…

Wrong. The game would have sold to it's expectations without Steam.
@@IIIHUSKIII no the game would not have gotten off of the ground or had any support without steam. It became popular on steam, which allowed it to then be popular on PlayStation months later. If it had tanked on steam nobody would be playing on gaystation.

The problem is PSN is not available in a lot of countries.
And it's a security with more holes that swiss cheese... Not something I wish to link with my Steam!
Correction: *in one single day
People keep trying to act this is purely on Sony, which is not correct.
You can assume Arrowhead had too high hopes on convincing Sony to not enforce it. Knowing little of how Anti-consumer Sony is.
Don't stand at it's ankle when you start firing
New updates: Helldivers is now "mixed" on Steam. Spitz also directly apologized and explained his reasoning. He explained that he didn't understand how many countries couldn't create PSN accounts, and admitted that he overreacted due to the
It's funny that implementing PSN accounts is probably more technical work than just allowing it to exist without PSN accounts.
Hey Rhyker, keep it up!
I would love to see a swirl around the beam for greater affixes. The number of swirls can be based on the number of affixes

Well the shareholders are the only costumers they care for.
Better get those numbers up before the 3rd quarter or their stock might drop.
I was literally going to buy this for my birthday next week, but now, hell no! I guess it's also affecting potential purchasers in the future. Great job, Sony. You've done it again
The best part of the patch was one of the leads said all the weapons are getting buffs and there's barely any nerfs. That was 100% a lie lol
"it's Sony's decision, not ours.". They chosr to partner with Sony.
I'm not sure you are correct. They can just adjust the goals for amount of players.
I don’t agree with your klickbait thumbnail. We didn’t review bomb anything. The word implies malicious intent. Be a part of the solution not just a hater please…
@@bjorn-falkoandreas9472 Yeah, except it’s not my „private“ definition. Review bombing is part of the „toxic fanboys“ narrative and therefore has a negative connotation. What the community is doing right now is not being toxic.
Arrowhead wants us to write negative reviews and/or do refunds in order to make preasure on SONY. Helldivers, you got your orders!
Anyone think that the data brokers actualy own incogni? So if you do not do anything the brokers earn money from your data and if you do do something you are just giving the broker your information and money. Im sure none of the brokers thought of this.
Not to mention incogni needs your data to search for your data so you're just paying to give your data away haha
The focus regeneration stat also works now as well so I think it balances
It is not review bombing....its genuine disgust at moves made by the publisher and tone deaf handling by arrowhead pr team.
I'm still wondering why Blizz hasn't added an uber drop rate higher than the base monsters to world bosses. There's basically zero incentive to bother with them anymore. It's an odd choice to buff their health but provide no extra incentive whatsoever. Give me a reason to fight them....?
Why they get reviewbombed now?
Because ppl wake up
I refunded and left a bad review 12 days after i bought it
Reason
I had a server error and couldnt even start the game
Stuck on loadscreen
I waited so they could fix issues since it was fresh out like 2-3 weeks and issues are normal
I contacted support wich was a pain in the butt btw and send them all info
Thier Response to me not beeing able to start the game was
Go to your menu INGAME!!! disable crossplay and change some other settings and check my Router....
This pro Response was all i needed to know
Ef this shit i am out
The refund window is only for automated refunds, you can still appeal for a refund after that and if you have good reasons, often steam will grant the refund.
Everyone : "no sony don't take my data" also everyone: "the lube is in the drawer Microsoft san".
About the color of the beams for D4 legendary and unique… maybe have them pulsate? Not fast but a moderate rate? Maybe a pulse per 2 seconds?
Great video! 👍 I might actually go back to D4, which I never thought I'd say.
31:00 I disagree: it seems pretty ok to me that:
1. You killed Warrick and are seen as the hero, so you deserve a house
2. There’s always houses for sale in the real world, why wouldn’t there be houses for sale in Sacrament at any point in time?
