Cutting doll hair is so challenging!
It helps that they can't tell us they don't like it afterwards 😉🤣
And again I am very enthusiastic about your ideas and your work. I want to start styling my dolls immediately. Thank you for putting so much effort into sharing your knowledge with us. Greetings from Edel...
You are so welcome Edel! Have fun with your girls ^_^
Loving that green haired gal. Also all the hair on your dolls looks so SHINY! I'll be round for a trim tomorrow, nothing too fancy, just an asymmetrical bob with spiral fringe and some lowlights thanks. Oh and I'm not sure my head will fit on your spool holder.
Thank you! I LOVE my green haired girls
im waiting for my mini me in the mail, this will be very helpful when she arrives !!! that stand you put the head on is so smart
Have fun with her! Thanks so much ^_^
Thank you for showing your process. It's super helpful! Have a good weekend!
Thank you! You too! ^_^
What a great tutorial-thank you so much!! The dolls are so pretty with their hair styled!! Loved your spectators 😂😂
Thanks so much! Hehe, hubby surprised me with them too! 😊
Thanks for sharing this. I am so intimidated when it comes to cutting these girls hair.
You’re welcome! Hope it helps, you can always start with just a little trim ^_^
Thank you for this! I'm so glad you did the really curly haired girl as I have one too but was afraid to ruin her if I thinned the hair a little.
Thanks for watching! I love that I can see her face better now ^_^
OMG, super helpful for all sorts of doll
I'm so glad! ^_^
Great job, Beth! I usually dampen overall to get all strands to lay evenly with doll hair. (Because doll hair is unnaturally thick and stretchy) I believe seeing the whole process from start to finish is such a great help! 👏👏👏
Great tip! Thanks so much! ^_^
Great video.. I use a box under the doll while cutting to catch all the hair cause that hair seems to stick to everything lol
Great tip! Those tiny bits of hair really do get everywhere!! Thanks for watching! ^_^
Wow great job, thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you! ^_^
Wonderful video Beth!
Thank you so much!
@@BethRamsden you're very welcome
This was great!
Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for the info❤❤❤❤
You are so welcome! ^_^
Tysm for doing this video, Beth! Also, do you strengthen the knees of your jointed dolls? I use tiny screws to do so, and it helps them remain standing a lot better than without doing it. Just a thought. ❤️
I should really look into that, I have seen that technique before. I love the jointed bodies but yeah, the legs aren't very strong! Thanks so much ^_^
Well done 😜👍🏼
Hi! 😄 Thanks Jenny!
Did you make the stand? Is it just a carved dowel at the top? Or repurposed door knob? It’s genius!
I bought it from TK Max, with reels of decorative ribbons on it! ^_^
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
please tell me what matte sealant u use!
Replied to your other comment ;)
Why do i like these dolls.. do guys collect them or is it considered weird? Maybe i am being silly. So what is the hair made of, huma or animal? It is shiny so maybe plastic?
I'm sure plenty people think it's weird, but I find dolls to be a wonderful vehicle for all sorts of creativity! ^_^
I'm not sure exactly what type of hair this is classed as, but it's just plastic essentially - though some dolls are made with mohair/alpaca too!
