I lived in Thailand for 7 years. You would not believe how many Thai bargirls have husbands that live in the house that the Falang built. Usually passing them off as a cousin or brother. I knew all of this and so did everyone else. I was able to overhear all of this because my Thai was excellent. I was told by the Thais that they didn't worry about me knowing because I was "Thai" . The Farang some of them married to these women never knew.
The guys are very stupid. Maybe someone should hand out brochures about what not to do in Thailand regarding women, and the number 1 being do not buy them a house!!!1 And it's not your woman only your turn.

I only shared so people can make informed decisions when they decide to go to a village. As for the bar girl, I've no idea. I've blocked her on every bit of social media neither do I care. Back to England next week for some time out before I decide if i'm coming back or not. Rainy season approaches and summer approaches in Europe, thinking possible Spain for the summer.

When I listened to it back it sounds like she was 100% hustler. On reflection she really changed in the village I think maybe the family disapproved and she totally changed after that. Not that I'm that bothered now. Back to England shortly I don't have any plans to come back to Thailand right now. It's been an experience and it's made me appreciate my own country more but who knows, a month of England I could be climbing the walls again and missing the warm weather of Thailand LOL. He was getting upset telling me it's not funny😂, he said he got drunk with grandma out in some rice field and did a runner somehow for a 9 hour death ride taxi trip back to bangkok. Gonna tell you Dan ever since l started watching your channel l have been hooked like I’m an addict, keep up the good work . Feeling for Paul. It is really really hard to pull away from the joy of falling for a cutie and learning after whom she is. I suggest pull away, take time for hormones to tell that chasing her has been a grave mistake. My thought is, there is a happier life out there for Paul. Sounds like this man played the 2 women off against each other for ages . She never asked him for money seems like she's genuine and she obviously heard from other people about him seeing other women so felt she was entitled do do what she wants. These women often have a horrible life so marrying a rich forener even if they're unattractive seems like a wonderful escape however a lot of these men have already been rejected by women in their own countries because they have horrible personalities and are too selfish to have an equal relationship. That was quite an ordeal to sit through and listen to. Patong is not that expensive, outside the height of the high season, especially if you are prepared to go 700-800 metres back from the beach. Or if it becomes too expensive for your budget, find a cheaper place in Thailand or another country. How is Paul shocked when a Thai bargirl goes to the No.1 pickup spot in Patong and goes home with a customer? I have zero sympathy for him and this situation is all of his own making. He should count himself lucky that he did not incur any financial loss or worse. I'm not surprised in the slightest that the bargirl now prefers the old fat foreigners!!

Paul, that is a great story, mate. Definitely worth a round of drinks in the bar. It sounds a bit like "going native". I suspect that is how Thai men feel. They don't have to pay for boomboom but they have to put up with the tantrums and abuse. They probably also know very well their girls service customers. It's too bad the mother treated you so poorly but it does tell us something about her. She was probably thinking "your sister found a German patsy to support me in my old age, here you are at 45 and all you brought me are durians". I'm sure the German guy thinks he has some beneficial interest in that house but the mother sees it as belonging exclusively to her and her family. In a way her coldness was much like the treatment we get when we decline to buy drinks for a girl's friends. They'll start calling us cheap Charlies. I'm certain if you had caved in and given her cash she would have been a lot warmer. It's like a backhanded compliment- they treat us that way when we are too smart to be scammed by them. Where do you start with comments or advice? Once you understand every relationship is a "power struggle" then you are seeing "who is playing who". He got cheap room and boom boom but paid with his emotions and her infidelity. What she got was playing the potential long game of future sponsorship ( irrelevant whether he would be 10th on the list as everything counts in large amounts). The fact they keep returning to a proven dysfunctional relationship is a whole issue of psychological problems. This is why so many advocate the 3 day rule and pay for play keeps things simple. I won't go down the path of you can't change a bar girl as many do indeed change. Sounds like this man played the 2 women off against each other for ages . She never asked him for money seems like she's genuine and she obviously heard from other people about him seeing other women so felt she was entitled do do what she wants. These women often have a horrible life so marrying a rich forener even if they're unattractive seems like a wonderful escape however a lot of these men have already been rejected by women in their own countries because they have horrible personalities and are too selfish to have an equal relationship. That was quite an ordeal to sit through and listen to. Patong is not that expensive, outside the height of the high season, especially if you are prepared to go 700-800 metres back from the beach. Or if it becomes too expensive for your budget, find a cheaper place in Thailand or another country.

Paul, that is a great story, mate. Definitely worth a round of drinks in the bar. It sounds a bit like "going native". I suspect that is how Thai men feel. They don't have to pay for boomboom but they have to put up with the tantrums and abuse. They probably also know very well their girls service customers. It's too bad the mother treated you so poorly but it does tell us something about her. She was probably thinking "your sister found a German patsy to support me in my old age, here you are at 45 and all you brought me are durians". Where do you start with comments or advice? Once you understand every relationship is a "power struggle" then you are seeing "who is playing who". He got cheap room and boom boom but paid with his emotions and her infidelity. What she got was playing the potential long game of future sponsorship ( irrelevant whether he would be 10th on the list as everything counts in large amounts). The fact they keep returning to a proven dysfunctional relationship is a whole issue of psychological problems. This is why so many advocate the 3 day rule and pay for play keeps things simple. I won't go down the path of you can't change a bar girl as many do indeed change.
