This game saved my life...
I would never have survived being 12 and having to go shopping with my mom without my trusty DS and this game.
Can't wait for him to get to "that"section of this game. The closest bit we get to Reshef and Forbidden Memories in modern yugioh games.
I remember for this game to unlock some packs, you need to fight basically everyone you possibly can for I think 15 times each to unlock packs, including the ones in world championship mode, to stay within the difficulty curve. Fun. There's also random card drops you can get by beating the optional NPC's which can basically give you some broken cards very early.
Loved the sequel to this game, Reverse of Arcadia! I'm excited to see u jump into the 5Ds and DS era of Yu-Gi-Oh! Pikasprey. good luck
This was my first ever Story Related Yu-Gi-Oh game I have owned.
me too! I'm v excited for this playthrough
Aaa
Aaaaaaaatataaaa
I think it's the weakest of the DS Trilogy, but still as amazing as the rest, I would play it again fo sure
@@Nikko_no_Tabi It could be yeah but since I haven't played the last one I can't say.
There is only one problem I had with this game but it's near the very end for those who know what I mean.
It's so nice not having to run back to your house to heal life points
That would be awkward in a game where you're playing as a homeless person.
This is the era where I turned off of Yu-Gi-Oh, so I’ve never seen a 5Ds game. Excited to see this!
Try it, still fun and not as complicated as the current ygo
I was literally just thinking I wanted to find someone playing this game and you uploaded. tyvm!
Casual Cooper playthrough of this game is quite hilarious. Definitely check it out if you still need another helping
I loved this game as a kid. The world of 5Ds was so interesting
This game brings back so many memories for me. I remember one part towards the end that was super hard for me to beat (those who have played this game before probably know what I’m talking about) but once I did I was so happy. This is going to be a good one.
Aaaah, boy, this brings back memories... namely ones of getting hella frustrated with the forced stealth section and how pack acquisition works.
I wouldnt say it's exactly because of the AI, but the WCS games are usually a lot more mean than the Tag Force games. The story duels are fine for the most part, but some random NPCs will be randomly kicking your butt with way too competent decks for some reason
They do some fancy plays from time to time, though
MA-SA-KI
That deck, straight after the tutorial, taught me about how important is to have backrow removal in these games
@@Nikko_no_Tabi S/T and monster removal are pretty much necessary for any deck in those games, specially when the synchro pool start getting better and the game expects every deck to have some kind of easy to acess extra deck removal like Catastor, BRD or even Brionac
I swear i remember one of these games giving one of the random child NPCs a Heart of the Underdog Exodia deck
@@dullahaut329 Yes, that's the deck I'm talking about. Right after the tutorial, as a random npc in the start of chapter 2. If you don't beat him in 3 turns, you better hope to have pulled a Brionac to bounce the continuous spell
Another Yu-Gi-Oh game let’s go!
This game made me love yu-gi-oh! again. After 5d's i said bye to this francise ^^
The trick is to have many OCs so you can make at least one of them in these character creators. Like how all the girl hairstyles except for poofy ribbons and not Pegasus sorta vaguely look like some of my characters, though not the colors. I'm not really a fan of non-natural hair and eye colors.
actually selecting where to place a card now matters because of GOOD OLD YAJIRO INVADER
I wish we had those custom lose texts for Tag Force, Syrus and Chumley deserved to be brutally roasted after playing so bad so often
man I remember this game! I got to the very end of the story and then got stuck, so I never beat it, but I remember having fun with it
OH HELL YEAH! This game is my childhood
Welcome to the DS 5D's Games Era! We have
1. Entertaining Single Player story
2. Character customization
3. Full card artworks!
4. BANGER Electro soundtrack! I can't stress enough how GOOD the music is in those games! 🔥🔉💿🎵🎶
5. Ai will take forever to make a move the more cards there are on the field 😢(it gets worse with Reverse of Arcadia and Over the Nexus) compared to the PSP games!
You being worried about making a big play and forgetting/miessing it up reminds me of the one Magic game I won because someone thought they could combo off, realized they messed up, and left me with a creature with 32,000 +1/+1 counters.
They could not block it.
Asprey my brother the playlist order for these videos is reversed for some reason, the first video on the playlist is the 3rd vod...
It's fixed now, thanks!
The only 5Ds Game I've played was Over The Nexus, so I'm pretty excited for this.
Also I wouldn't be worried about Yusei hating femboys when Rally is literally wearing a dress
Everyone point and laugh a Gravekeeper's Spy, their pants fell down again!
I was out of Yugioh by the time this came out, but I played it a year or so ago, and found it pretty fun. By the end I had a pretty good Gladiator Beast deck, that could fairly regularly lock the opponent out of playing the game.
Bro's overthinking his tutorial match 😂😂
This game can be difficult if you’re not prepared so good luck!
This game bringa back alot of memories. Some annoying but mostly good.
Another day another YGO play through except This Time it's a play throw of a game that I played a good amount of and had a bit of fun with it despite not Really understanding the mechanics of it.
These games use the real world banlist at the time, so for this game Zombies are pretty much full power with card of safe return not being hit yet
Really love that you started the DS trilogy, they were and still are the games that kept my love for the game going through all the terrible game design implementations and powercreep.
I'm almost done watching this VOD, but I can answer some questions you brought up, otherwise if you don't care just keep scrolling.
Krebons is an direct vocal translation of the original name, which is a pun on Clairvoyance, because it's a psychic type.
Stardust Accelerator is the first game of this style and it shows. Don't worry, from year to year gets better in every aspect, even if the first and last one's story were written while the anime still hadn't resolved some arcs and they had to improvise at points.
Sprites and animations for they monsters while they are summoned has been a stylistic choice since Nightmare Troubadour, and while they lag the game significantly, they go away in the 3rd game.
Frankly, choosing the battle dialogue is hilarious, and I also spent 30minutes-1 hour choosing them in my playthroughs, it enhances the role playing aspect a bunch.
I hope you enjoy Stardust Accelerator, even with all its flaws and laugh at the still inexperienced team. Every part has a weird gimmick that is awkward for a lot of players, and for the first game it's definitely how the driving feels
I'm not an expert on this game, just giving my honest thoughts, thanks for you time and I'll try to tune in to the streams if possible
omg Stardust Accelerator good times
I'd build a black rose dragon deck in this if I was playing
Nothing is stopping you
@@kinnikuboneman There's actually a lot that could be stopping me... lack of money, lack of hardware, lack of knowledge, lack of time, lack of interest
@@StealthNinja4577Emulation, emulation, playtesting, looking online and that's your fault
This game would be so much better if you had access to other synchros. Those three are the ONLY three you're ever gonna have until post game if I recall. You'd be better off building some kind of control deck or something imo
When I played this I built a jank Silent Swordsman lock down deck XD
Best of the 5ds ds games is the 2010 game revenge of Arcadia
I will say I will have to take a few minutes to get used to cards with effects actually being useful again. Well, except Strifer, 3x powered up...
Oh lord that amulet spell card is op these days its always 100 points stronger than your monster in battle
I like the aesthetic of 5D's it's like Hokuto no Ken but without the extreme violence
I really wish that I got this game and played it
The only yugioh ive played is reshef so i have no idea whats going on lol. Still love it! Kinda wanna check out rhe DS emulator and see if it looks good on my phone or not.
Just me playing a Konami game released on a Nintendo console on my Intel device with a Microsoft controller.
Maybe Yusei knows something about the main character, and that's why he acts cold towards them?
"Stop using that Ash thing it's so annoying" omggggg tell me about it
This game is really hard, I remember random people having like tournament level decks. If any of you want to play the ds games I recommend skipping this and starting with the next one.
1000 DP for a duel runner?
But that are 6 and a halve card packs
Got this game used for Christmas years ago and the person who had it before me played like an hour, then quit. They probably saw how bad the starter deck is and decided to live instead of spending hours grinding for a decent deck. And wow, that starter deck is just next level TERRIBLE. You can win some of the earlier duels with some luck using it, but you will wanna swap out like at least 80% of the cards as soon as possible. Have fun grinding! (or just use cheats, whatever)
I love the anime avatar. At first, I thought it was too cute for Christian's voice, but now I think it's perfect 🐻.
Can't wait until people convince him to suffer through Reverse of Arcadia.
What, but that’s like the best one in the trilogy!
Time to synchro or whatever
Synchro-what? I can't hear you over all these motorcycles people use to play cardgames on.
Still don't know why you have a female oc v tuber but its growing on me
I think it's a guy? Really androgynous like link sorta.
The avatar is a boy
@@kinnikuboneman is it? It looks like a female
It is a guy, just not traditionally masculine
As long as he doesn't get a 3D rigged one It doesn't bother me. I usually can't stand watching most Vtubers because of how floaty and overly animated they get compared to a regular facecam and it becomes really distracting and annoying when watching a game. The png tuber is the ideal compromise for me personally.
I’ve never seen this game before but I can’t believe a Game Boy advance game from 2004 looks better when it comes to the actual card game graphics than a 2009 game for the DS
I can't believe the lack of Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged references in the comments.
Because it's lame, like all abridged series
So like whats with the vtuber thing in the corner its just so un pikasprey
I could never get into the OG ds Yugioh games. Weird how much of a step down they are from any of the psp Yugioh games in terms of readability. The main screen is a vague/blurry suggestion of whats happening in a duel. I guess they were really hoping 3d model monsters would make up for it.
It's not that bad
@@kinnikubonemanOn original hardware it's probably not bad but the card art and field get so blurry when stretched to a larger resolution like this. The 3D sections/overworld look amazing because ds emulators can upscale 3D portions of a game but usually not the 2D parts which are the duels in this instance.
Loved this game as a kid. I played it all the time. I did have trouble with the final boss so you might want to be careful with it.
