@@YouzTube99 The android app probbly won't work on 20% of the android devices, due to different versions, customization, updates. Do the math and you have 16% of the mobile market calling you names for that so it does not happen.
@@@eaman11 Where did you get the 20% figure? IF that is correct (and aren't there older versions of iOs that are incompatible with newer apps as well?), it would mean Android still comprises 60% of the possible market. So, why "16%"?
You don't make a "free app" when there are going to be 300'000 customer flaming you and flooding you support service because it won't work on theyr weird device.
I think Soundmondo is cool. I found some cool clavinets, EPs, Strings and guitar sounds I love. but think they should put all the sounds in categories to make them easier to fine. like if you go to bass sounds you see pad sounds. the pads should really be by themselves because there are so many of them. just a thought.
Hey, you're right, there are so many good sounds on Soundmondo! :) The user who uploads the sound gets to pick what tags are applied to it, so I don't think there's an easy way for them to moderate what is in each tag.
Sounds can easily be saved on the Keyboard by pressing the STORE-button und choosing a memory bank and memory place. The existing sound there will be overwritten.
It says on Soundmondo that I am connected but it’s not letting me sync anything and it’s also not detecting the type of keyboard I have, does anyone know how to fix this? Could it be any of my drivers? What could the issue be

Yep! Find a slot with a sound you are cool with getting rid of, load up the preset from soundmondo -- then hit the 'Store' button. You'll need to hit the store button in the data entry, and then confirm you want to overwrite the existing preset, and boom -- you've got a soundmondo preset saved in your dx reface.
@@JustinKimball Thanks for ur quick answer! but another question: can I use my own Soundmono account with a third-party Reface, or is the Reface only usable with a single account? In the case of buying a used Reface
I can't browse the sounds. My CS shows up as connected to Soundmondo in Chrome. But every time I click sync it goes to a save page and doesn't load the patch. What am I doing wrong? Im using a 2012 Macbook Pro with the latest version of Chrome.
Just a question : are all of these sounds made from scratch using the actual voices included in the Reface ( like the 32 ones included in the DX )? If not , how did these users get them ? I'm trying to figure out if we are only able to play around the voices that come straight out of the box (which would make me feel really limited ) or if there's actually a way to import some other sounds we might be able to download on a specific website or I don't know. I'm considering getting the DX but I want to be sure about some things before. Your videos particularly helped me realizing how versatile and fun the Reface actually is. Thanks in advance
Alan Framboisier On all of our Reface series we build original sounds, starting from nothing but the keyboard itself, as it comes from the manufacturer. With Soundmondo we then share our sounds. Hope this answers your question :-)
maybe a silly question but...I was wondering what happen if you try to load DX sounds on CS for eg..anyway..are there any way to cheat these keyboards get other dynamic possibilities?
The simple answer is no - the DX and CS use completely different methods of synthesis. It would be like trying to feed petrol to a horse and hay to a car!
The way to find and loads sound into the synths is very tedious and not worth it at all. I'd rather use a VST than have to go through that.... it should be simple like as soon as you click a patch name, it loads it in the synth. Not have to click the name, wait for a new page to load, then click sync, wait a few seconds... so 10 seconds just to load a sound you don't even know if you'll like???? Then you have to click back, wait till that page loads, and do it all again for a new sound... fuck that!! Yeah on the iPad it's a little easier, but I need to use my DX with my computer, not my iPad.
Lol my friends wanted his first hardware synth and wanted to buy a reface CS until he found out he couldnt save his preset without an iOS app........... He bought a Microkorg instead!

Indeed. Android represents 80% of the mobile market, but the lemmings continue to focus on iOs apps . . .

Totally stealing those patches man 😁
Freaking thank you i was scratching my head on how to add sounds via USB i swear i couldn't find it in the manual.

Does this require an internet connection to work?
is it possible to use midi to usb?
