    hope all the best for the challenge champs! it's wind heavy flat course, always headwind coming back. Thankfully they changed the course back to original so its kinda double folded, so no 45km headwind coming baxk anymore :) but remember to work youself into good group as you will be save loads of energy for the x-country style, usually melty hot run! send it!

    I see you have a Garmin 520. I recently upgraded to the 530 (also from the 520) and honestly I love the fact that for the price it gives waayyyy more interesting data!

      Haha good point- no brick session is nice 😂 uhhhh think they are the carbon x ones, not actually that good as carbon shoes go but they are comfy

    Thanks Harry - informative video! I have a quick question - in your experience how much does swim volume affect swim times with all else being equal? I ask as I am doing just a measly 6k per week just now and considering increasing the volume.

    • @Harry-Palmer
      @Harry-Palmer  Год назад

      In my experience anything over 25km for me makes me worse at swimming due to the increased fatigue. If you can adapt to more then that’s ace but only if you can adapt, if not then it’s kinda pointless

    Do you plan your training on TSS or time? What phase are you in at the mo?

    • @Harry-Palmer
      @Harry-Palmer  Год назад

      Generally time but I have a good idea of what my TSS will be. In a race build phase for challenge champs 👍🏻
