    +1 ... Subscribed. .. Found your channel when you were buying the E400 W124. .. You ain't kidding, the MB 124 series is like no other. .. When a relative passed becoming the caretaker of his '94 C124 Sportline coupe was a no brainer. .. So glad it was earmarked to our fleet; some old and some new. .. The coupe is a Road Trip fucking Master. .. 702 Smoke Silver w/Creme Beige Leathers. .. Other than the wheel upgrade to an OEM 8-hole 16" x 7.5 ET41 alloy, its all stock. .. A time capsule.. (the OEM 16" 8-hole alloy is from the 1999 E320) .. The revised tire size is the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 sized 205/55/16. .. Could easily come have from the factory this way. .. (Should have)
    All the best to you and family. .. The W124 series is the Creme de la Creme of auto's .... Throw that Doors LA Women CD in..... Its Road Trip time..

    I just did this modification on my 94 E420. I got an LH 92 Module for under $100 on eBay. The only difference I noticed so far was at around 5000-5500 to redline. Feels like a slight gain. Power isn't being slowly cut off like the original LH. In my opinion if you can find this module for under $100 its worth it. Thanks!

    I'm almost convinced to pick this up myself:0 I almost went towards the w210 e430 4matic, but I want the e420 badge more than anything xD

      Love this car man, if you can find one in decent shape for a good price I highly recommend it.

    I have never seen a 400E. I had the 300D with the om606 engine... ran it on veggie oil. I need another w124 in my life

      MIne is now the only of it's kind being a E400 lol... never liked how they changed from the 400 monacher to 420 with the same engine displacement so... I made it my own. Since it has 400e parts on it guess it's somewhat accurate ;)

    Is that why my fuel pump relay is clicking constantly in my 400e?! Are bad capacitors in the ECM causing it? I've been stumped for so long.

    • @danielclarke547
      @danielclarke547 2 года назад +1

      Also how many capacitors are known to go bad? I can't imagine all of them, I'm experienced in circuit board repair and replacing capacitors is a non issue.

    • @ANDERZENAMG
      @ANDERZENAMG  2 года назад +1

      yes that is a sign of LH module failure, I haven't opened up my spare yet but this one also started causing clicking just a few weeks ago so I swapped original back in. If I open the other I'll make a video on rebuild or re-soldering if it can be saved.

      @@ANDERZENAMG awesome, I'll take a look at mine when I'm back in town and see what I can find on the board, could be a specific capacitor/component that goes bad across all modules

    Hey man I noticed when u got the car your hood ornament was broken. And u replaced it. Can I ask you where you got yours? Because the same happened to me and I got a new one and it doesn’t fit how I want it to and I don’t know if I’m just being a perfectionist or if it’s actually wrong

    • @ANDERZENAMG
      @ANDERZENAMG  3 года назад +1

      Yea I replaced it with the flat badge first then bought a knockoff eBay star for temporary use which is still on because.... the OEM one I got actually looks worse than the aftermarket one, go figure.

      @@ANDERZENAMG yeah I have a fake on the car currently that’s broken but it fit very flush on the hood and the new one I got overlaps a little bit and I’m worried about it being loose. I guess I’m asking does the emblem fit in the round cutout perfectly or did yours overlap a little?
