Great tips on the jerkbait. Brown trout and stripers love them on area lakes in my area in the winter.

I don't consider myself an expert but I catch a lot of jerkbait fish through the winter, fished Chickamauga in Tn yesterday and had three tied on, love the vision 110s but prefer the 110 jr +1, one downside to the vision 110 is that it tends to rise in colder water so you have to use suspend strips to weigh it down if you want long pauses , I also throw the OSP Asura2 which is a shallow running bait but has a true suspend , as far as colors and finishes , there isn't enough time to go over, I have over a grand invested in jerkbaits lol, I rarely pause more than 3 seconds and I work my bait hard even in the low 40s, I have three setups, Cashion Icon 6'9 medium xfast with a Scorpion 71 xg, Dobyns Kaden 610-4 with a Scorpion 71xg and a Kastking 6'10 medium fast with a SLX MGL 71 xg, #10 Sunline sniper or Seagur invisix , my biggest jerkbait fish (7lb 9oz) came on a full sized Rapala Ripstop, in clown color , 43 degree water , tight lines

Lake Chickamauga is a Great Lake to fish I’ve always wanted to go there during the winter! I went there this past fall and I had a blast. You can never go wrong with the vision 110 jr +1’s this time of year! I’ll have to try out the suspend strips next time I’m out on the water fishing the vision 110 this winter. I completely understand I have spent so much on jerkbaits too with all the different colors and different diving depths. It’s probably the most money I have in any specific type of lure but I also have a lot of crankbaits too. That’s a great jerkbait fish! It sure does catch some nice bass during the winter. Thank you for watching I really appreciate it!

I prefer the berkley stunna to the megabass. I like its slow sink.

The Berkley Stubbs is a good choice too especially if they’re wanting it to slowly sink! Thank you for watching I really appreciate it
