Thank you for this video. Much appreciated. Been throwing jerkbaits for a long time, since the late 70's. Crispin'....... But always willing to learn and take on new information. Thank you
So far in my arsenal, I have: HT Ito Tennessee Shad (Mid morning) French Pearl (Afternoon) GP Sexy Shad (Late afternoon) Elegy Bone (not sure when this would be good for? maybe evening time? due to the chartreuse belly?) Most likely going to pick up a GG Deadly Black Shad too for those low lights that you're talking about Ben... Hopefully these will help start the season with some nice big bites!!! Thanks for this informative video!!
I purchased the elegy bone. My first one. I was caching 4 lb smallies all day from dawn til dusk. As well as a few pike......on Georgian bay up here in Ontario Canada......it's a great colour.........enjoy.
Wish I would’ve found this video before I bought all my jerkbaits. Also has inspired me to reorganize my jerkbaits based off time of day instead of depth range.
Oh man. My newest addiction is the vision 110. I just got my own boat and have been able to put time in on the vision. Holy cow. I’ve never caught size and numbers like I have this fall on the vision. My favorite colors are stain reaction, French pearl and hg Tennessee Shad.
Not a confidence lure for me, so my jerkin' needs workin'. I think color does matter at certain times of the day, and weather conditions too. Thanks for the video Ben/Geoff. ✌🏻🎣
My 110 Wagasaki has half of the chrome paint missing from pickerel and bass hitting it. Is there a way to "paint" the chrome look back onto it? Has anyone tried this? Thanks
Thanks guys- I asked for this video a while back- you have so many ppl asking though I'm sure you don't remember- but you said you would "put it on the list" and apparently you did- thanks. Looks like I did alright buying colors so far- I've got a little of everything you mentioned basically- and a few odd balls. Most of them aren't MB 110s though- just started getting into the JDM stuff this year. The 110 I have just says Ito Natural on the label- natural what? Shad I assume. The Jr. I have is Mat Shad.
I just been buying a bunch. Started with the whites pearls, clears , then sexy and chrome, mat colors. Now I am looking at some of the natural baitfish colors Some colors i like better in the Jr than the regular.
Hello, i like your jerkbait video en more. I am frensh and I live in france and we have the choice between two models for the vision oneten 110: the vision 110 (slow floating) and the vision oneten 110 SP (suspending) with the notation "SP" on the tail of the lure. In the USA you have which version and which version do you talk about in your videos: the original or the suspending? Thank you in advance for your answer
@The Hooked up tackle You missed one time period "What do you use when fishing docks under the lights at night? Dark cause of night or clear because of the lights??????????????
Great stuff. I spend my winters in Maine maintaining my gear and restocking my tackle boxes for the spring fishing, which is prime for us once the ice melts. Can't wait. Thank you for the video.
To me it makes sense with the direction of color but only to an extent. I’ve caught fish on Matt shad in clear water in blue skies and ht Tennessee shad on cloudy day. They want what they want? 🤷🏻♂️
Jeff doesn't believe in colors and that's why you're the Tackle Otaku and not the star of the show lol. Great breakdown! I bet you chuckle when you receive orders identical to your videos! Haha.
Man I struggle with this every time. I always think man that ridiculous is the one they caught em on but it’s always the basics that get the job done…… ok I’ll take 8 pink jerkbaits lol
For me I have a fav color and an absolute stinker. My 110 Wagasaki Silent slays. My 110 junior Matte Shad is a dud. I would be willing to trade anyone commenting here my Matte Shad 110 junior for one of their 110 juniors or a 110 silent. My Pro Blue 2 110 junior works well and my 110 Megabass Sexy Shad performs well also. I also had a 110 junior Clear Laker. It looked cheaply made and, it caught close to nothing. I lost it to the bottom and wasn't even worried. My buddy uses the Wagin Hasu instead of the Pro Blue 2 and that works well for him in the 110 Junior size.
These are the rules but look there are no rules so follow the rules but do whatever you want unless you wanna follow the rules sometimes. Then follow them. Unless you don't want to 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you !!! I’ve been struggling to pick the right colors . This certainly a video I will be saving.
Awesome! Thank you for watching!!
I wish they would release the GP Pro Table rock in other options than just the FX.
These are my Favorite Expensive Lures.😅. Action on those are phenomenal. Absolutely worth it.
Thank you for this video. Much appreciated. Been throwing jerkbaits for a long time, since the late 70's. Crispin'....... But always willing to learn and take on new information. Thank you
HT Ito Tennessee Shad is my #1. Elegy Bone #2. Winter fishing river smallmouth and walleye.
So far in my arsenal, I have:
HT Ito Tennessee Shad (Mid morning)
French Pearl (Afternoon)
GP Sexy Shad (Late afternoon)
Elegy Bone (not sure when this would be good for? maybe evening time? due to the chartreuse belly?)
Most likely going to pick up a GG Deadly Black Shad too for those low lights that you're talking about Ben...

GREATS FROM SPAIN... PERFECT video Bro... thanks!!!
Wish I would’ve found this video before I bought all my jerkbaits. Also has inspired me to reorganize my jerkbaits based off time of day instead of depth range.
I love the GP crystal shad color on the x nanahan plus 2
Great video and thanks for the link to the description video! You’re not helping my addiction….😉
Table Rock shad is an absolute killer on the Tennessee River. Especially towards the afternoon.
Ty for this color break down. Much needed!

Elegy Bone, GP Pro Blue, and GP Stain Reaction OB are money!!!
If I can only have one color between gp stain reaction vs glx cherry spawn which is a better choice?
I have a healthy love for buying color options! love all the colors~! GG trout OB did some work for me this year on the Rim!
Do you have a video of how to work the ito vision 110?
When would you throw the Glxs cherry spawn?
What about the really bold colors like elegy bone or clown?
Just put in an order 3 new 110’s and a ito shiner in glx galaxy shiner! Looks sweet can’t wait till they come in
Thank you for your business! Great color choices 👍
Mat colors for the win!!!!!
👊🍻
My best day ever was Matt Shad 🔥 Winter Storm day slaying river smallies on the 110+1
This is some really great information!! Thank you!!
I just picked up a megabass ys destroyer king of baccarac , would you go with a 300 or 400 size diawa lexa tws
Just watched the video and that is good advice. I fish allot of stranded to mucky water, mat colors and perks are money.
Awesome video. What are your most frequent recommendations/requests for Grand Lake OK?
Matte finish for the win... All day long for me. Sunny, cloudy or in between doesn't matter. Smallies destroy it!!
Matte finishes are dope! Glad you’re smashing them!
Amazing video. Thank you. I will return to this many times.
Man it would be dope to be able to see all 110 colors ever made and how many there are! Like a dope Pokémon type chart haha!
There’s a lot! That would be dope to have them all together!
This was really helpful - thanks!
Awesome! Thank you for watching!
Have you been to Minnesota?
As always you guys are great. Thanks 😊
What does the SP stand for??
Hey Ben, can you bring over some Ito Shiner plus 1?
Clear water smallmouth river fishing ? Not real sure where to start
I love Wagin Setsuki Ayu color!👌
Not a confidence lure for me, so my jerkin' needs workin'. I think color does matter at certain times of the day, and weather conditions too. Thanks for the video Ben/Geoff. ✌🏻🎣
Haha, that's why I have a 3700 plano plum full of megabass jerks and you have my cash!🤪Awesome video Ben.
Sounds like my boxes 😂. thank you for watching my friend!
I know jerkbaits and muddy water don't go together but what color for muddy water
Me encanta tu trabajo , gracias Ben.
Bought my first megabass jerkbaits about a month ago , they really do catch more fish.
Great video Ben!
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the breakdown.
Thank you for watching!

No buy a new one
Do you know when you will get any Spawn Killer 110s back in stock?
No idea sadly.

They didn't do this video bc of you Bud... Don't get a Big Head...
I just been buying a bunch. Started with the whites pearls, clears , then sexy and chrome, mat colors. Now I am looking at some of the natural baitfish colors Some colors i like better in the Jr than the regular.
i see some guys do and some dont but how do you feel about using clips with the JBs?
Snaps? Not for me. Some guys love them, but I’ve had too many fail. Split rings only for me.

Same here, but in MA.
Excellent video, Ben. Would you remove the front split ring if we fish with a quality snap?
yes
I wish the original Tablerock shade came in other models not just the FX. Let me know if I'm mistaken.
You mean GP Pro Table Rock? Regular Table rock is available in all the jerkbaits.
I'm buying every spawn killer in jr+1 that I can find online, it's getting expensive. I pray they re-release it sometime.
Addicted. I like it 🤣🍻
@@thehookuptackle_usa you wouldn't know the half of it. I was pulling my rods out of my boat, thinking about the cost. Ooof.
That's easy, all of them.
Yeah lol that's what I was thinking
@@cheezuscrust7730 🤣😂 your name and picture
This is the easiest answer, and what I usually choose 🤣🍻
@@thehookuptackle_usa 😂
All you need is Elegy Bone & Ht Ito Tennessee Shad. Those two color just catches fish.
elegy bone on the CA Delta!!!
To me it makes sense with the direction of color but only to an extent. I’ve caught fish on Matt shad in clear water in blue skies and ht Tennessee shad on cloudy day. They want what they want? 🤷🏻♂️
Chrome is my number one color
Interesting. 🍻
I've smoked fish on that ayu color.
We've got to get ben a clean hat
Overrated...

PM twilight chart back
That’s a sleeper 🤫
I think jerkbaits are at least 50% confidence and the rest cadence, color, sound, and size.
These are the rules but look there are no rules so follow the rules but do whatever you want unless you wanna follow the rules sometimes. Then follow them. Unless you don't want to
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The x rap is the best jerk bait ever made hands down
Ok…🤦♂️
