@@tallking7777 If I had to read the mind of women, I'd assume they'd think wearing a tank top to show off your muscles comes across as arrogant and conceited. A well-fitting (not too tight) t-shirt or polo that hugs your biceps will still allow you to show off your muscles without being as obvious about your intentions. Also, even if you're muscular, they probably still don't want to see your underarms. And if it's hot, having fabric there will prevent skin-on-skin sweatiness.
I live in L.A. and I'm confused by your comment that tank tops should never be worn as a stand alone shirt. Your advice is generally spot on but I'll have to disagree with you here. I enjoy dressing up with your pointers but at a summer bbq or a pool party there nothing wrong with showing off my shoulder muscles I've been working on at the gym all year. I might also wanna show my tattoos too. If I can wear swim trunks as a bottom, surely I can wear a tank top as a top. There are so many styles surely there's some that work. I wear them all the time and you can make them look great if worn correctly. Cheers! 😁

Ms. Ashly what are you smoking? Horizontal stripes DO NOT CAMOUFLAGE FAT. They make you look WIDER. In my experience, even vertical stripes bring attention to your beer belly because of the bend of the stripes on the shirt where it curves
Smoking the real-life working with clients ‘ish. So I actually thought long and hard about this before I filmed as I’ve put some bigger clients in horizontal striped tees because vertical ones can be tough to find and i found that the stripes regardless of it being Vertical or horizontal still helps break up the extra weight in the belly or hips. In the past I’ve said to focus on vertical stripes but I find that stripes and patterns help provide a camouflage effect in a positive way. And still keeps the body in proportion especially when paired with a straight leg pant (chino, dress pants, jeans) which bigger guys should be wearing instead of a slim or skinny fit. And the stripes - especially vertical - don’t get distorted unless you’re wearing a tight tshirt - which I have never recommended. Your tshirt should not hug your stomach tightly enough to distort the pattern. You should be able to pinch 1-2” of fabric on either side of your stomach. This avoids the tightness distorting problem. Hope that helps!
@@MensFashioner I've found that if you want to camouflage a big belly, that it's better to have a shirt with a writing or a picture on the upper part of the chest wear the pecks are with the rest of the shirt being a dark color. It draws the eye upward away from the belly & looks slimming.
I have to wear boxer briefs under my board shorts because I simply have way too much going on down there that when I come out the water it's for all the world to see. Kind of sucks but at least I am aware of it, I guess. Any advice?
Those folks tend to comment on the "What men should never wear" videos. It's funny, because they don't make those same comments on videos with male speakers.

Not for me. jeans or chinos and a long sleeve light weight shitrt, maybe a denim jacket or harrinton on top. Suede derbys or driving mocs and trousers hemed to the correct length. Persol shades can help also. I'm a budget type of guy unless it is good quality and on sale. I am older though so I don't need much else. I'd like to know what celebrities she is styling? Then we can just google them and see what we think. When i google celebrity men I think are really cool like Pierce Brosnan they don't dress at all like this. The other consideration is how does a woman have any real world experience of haw a man should dress as the majority of her life has been on focusing how she atires herself. I don't doubt that some of Ashleys advice is very usefull but I don't believe women want this look from men.
