SVRCINA I see you read what people say about your music. I am no one of importance, but I hope you, or someone you know reads this to you: I am a female, military combat veteran and this breaths a ray of light to the darkest parts of my mind (memories). I can only speak for myself, because each and every of us who serve has their own way of living with our tainted space. For some of us soldiers we never left the battlefield, and sleep? Well let’s just say that is were the battle is the loudest....in times of silence. Your song, for me, breathes peace in my ears, to my mind and, for all the walls wars builds around the hearts, the melody, the harmony and the strength within your words makes.......my walls.....not so high.....please continue and eventually every wall will either fall or can be climbed. I thank you from my heart, my mind and my dreams. ~ Brenda. UPDATE: 2023 and I’m still listening to you SVRCINA. I’m listening with every breath I take. When the quietness is so loud I can’t think straight, I tune into your songs and tune out the noise. What if we did a remake of this song were one person from each country sang a part of this song in their native language
To spread the message to people that even though we have been at war with each other in the past
We should learn to celebrate each other’s differences instead of fighting with each other over our differences
I know that this will be very difficult to do but it would be nice to see it
This idea is wonderful, but I think it'd be difficult to get people from EVERY country (Especially North Korea, and possibly China, to name a few), though it would be a lot more feasible to get a bunch of people who speak a bunch of different languages to sing this. I, for example, despite being from America, know some German, and could definitely sing a part of this in German.

I listen back to this song. I was listening to it in a very bad moment of my life. I was actually in a depression and as I look back to this time, I realise how much I have been lucky to find this song because it really helped me to get up and to breathe again with courage. I don't really listen to popular music and neither of Surcina's music but just for this song I would like to thank her of being herself and giving us this emotional, soft and powerfull song. I told her she was wrong and that there dark times ahead, if only knew how right I was...
I always admired the fact how both sides of my family survived WWII and the Greek Civil War yet I think the underestimated how badly we would have it.
But I'm hopeful...a tiny bit hopeful, that we will survive too! We will change history for the better! I just hope that I'm right about this one too...
Hello, I'm a little late but I do think their will be tougher times ahead for us. But, we just have to remember what others have faced before us.
I think that every generation has their own problems to face. When we fix one issue, we inadvertently create others. I don't think we will be able to solve all of life's tragedies- it is the human condition, but we shouldn't stop trying. As we struggle with the seemingly insurmountable hurdles life throws, we grow and develop. And really, I think that is what life is for. :)
I think every generation has it own problems and always will say that it was the worst thing ever happened, and that's because every generation has to fight a different problem.
Our Grandparents have gone trough one or even both World Wars our parents had to go through the process of recovering from those and we have to go through this, the pandemic, the protests and everything else that happened and everything that will happen.
The next generation will have to fight other problems than we had to and consider them for themselve as the worst or most dramatic thing ever.

Not all pple feel hunger or like their at war. But some homes are nothing but war. I used starve cuz we had no food. And I wasn't in the war, but my mom and dad were not just on the battlefield of another country but at home. I was one of the reasons there was a war in the home.and the U.S. is to blame for them always gone.

Listening to this for the millionth time. As a health care worker, and a father who's wife just delivered his 4th child. Baby just was moved from ICU to a regular nursery, and wife is battling major blood pressure issues. The line about "tired soldiers" hits very hard today. Thank you for this song.

I have listened to this song for years and it still makes me cry!! But now in 2020 the lyrics "Our tainted history playing on repeat" fits well. Svrcina, I am posting this in the hopes that one day you will read it. I am a British Royal Air Force military veteran, and a transgendered woman. The combat action I have seen haunts my dreams, and the sound of war echoes in my ears even after all this time. I couldn't find peace in sleep as my nightmares of lives taken and friends lost still ring so loud in my ears.
Even when there's no noise around me I still can't escape the sounds of those battles and it's true what veterans say, you can be sent home but you never leave the war zone. Luckily I now have a partner who tries to help when she can but so much hate was seen, it's impossible to get away from it.
Night time is the worst and sleep can't bring relief from what you see and what you have to do for your country to keep the people safe. This song was a bolt of peace that pierced my heart. I listen to it every day, and every night. If I fall asleep listening to it I can find a measure of peace and escape from the constant repeat of death in my mind. Thank you so much, truly from the bottom of my heart for such a beautiful, helpful song. Thank you. From no one important.

Ok, I know no one cares, but I wanted to share that this song started playing while I was writing a part of a story in which a goddess walks the empty battlefield strewn with the corpses of her followers and children and it's *perfect*.
I had a similar moment just now writing a script about a couple soldiers rebuilding their lives after war. Love it when that kind of thing happens.

Sometimes the things that remind you of that person can days very hard. Those things can remind you, you will never get to know them or see them. Have you ever lost a family member? I have loved this song for years, but recently I finally found the courage to leave an abusive relationship. We dated for 4 years and he absolutely destroyed so much of me. This song reminds me to be brave. That as much as I want to stop to fighting, I can't. Not just yet. I still have so much to do, so much to see, so much to experience.
