True. Any other year and he would have been. Just had to have Cam Newton on the other side to mess him up from getting on the list. Lol For real, Nick was just as crucial as any piece was for that season to come together. We wouldn't have made it past the 2nd game without losing if not for his play.
2013 Nick Marshall one of the best QBs in Auburn history, Tre was amazing but had to be Nick that made that team. The rest of the list had no problems with, thanks for putting this up.
@@ill_will23 Tre doesn't get his yards if Nick isn't running for a thousand and running the zone read like a magician; yes it's the single season record for AU and I love Tre's year, but it doesn't happen without Nicholas Deshawn Marshall, no question about it.
Video is great! Definitely have to disagree with some of the picks, but this is your video. Some players I think that should have gotten a spot who were either 1st Team All-Americans and some also picking up other major end of the season awards: 1984 - Greg Carr (Consensus), 1987 - Aundray Bruce/Tracy Rocker (Consensus), 1990 - Ed King (Unanimous) or David Rocker (Consensus), 2001 - Damon Duval (Consensus), 2004 - Carlos Rogers (Consensus), 2006 - Ben Grubbs, 2014 - Reese Dismukes (Consensus), 2016 - Carl Lawson, 2017 - Braden Smith/Jeff Holland/Daniel Carlson/Carlton Davis, 2021 - Roger McCreary. For half, if not more of the selections in the video didn't even make 1st team All-American. Just my input. Great video, enjoy the content, like and subscribed, and WAR EAGLE!!!!!!
Mostly accurate, IMO, but not much love for great Auburn quarterbacks. 1997 is without a doubt Dameyune Craig. Goodson was a great WR, but so were Karsten Bailey and Errick Lowe and Stephen Baker. 2004 is Jason Campbell. That team could’ve won without Caddy but not without Jason. Also I’d have 2002 Ronnie Brown. He came in and exploded and saved the season after Cadillac got hurt at Florida.
Cool video. MANY of those clips with the Auburn announcers look awfully familiar. Wonder where they came from? Maybe I should start placing my signature on all the videos I created. That way, folks will know who actually created them. BTW - The Lawyer Tillman reverse happened in the 1986 Iron Bowl, not 1987.

Nick fairley should’ve gotten an honorable mention

Nick Marshall was 100% the best player in 2014

I think tre got the nod because he was a heisman finalist, but 2014 Nick Marshall DEFINITELY had a case for best player.

Absolutely
Its hard in 2004 to say who is the best. One of the best Auburn teams ever!! War Eagle! !
Honestly how do you not put Daniel Carlson.
Because he wasn’t our best player
@@SECCentralHighlightsThere’s an argument that he was the MVP in 2016.
Jatarvious whitlow should’ve been on here
He was close for 2019

O4 Jason Campbell was the straw that stirred the drink...Caddy also great

Not having nick marshall on this list is…something
Awesome
Thank you
Nick Marshall not being the best player in 2014 is absolutely atrocious!

I gave you credit in the description under sources
Did not see it earlier today
1997- Dameyune Craig
2004- Jason Campbell
Left out even better players!
Nick marshall didn’t make the list ? Dahquille Williams… woah
Like Seth Williams kind of deserves
1989 Reggie Slack period, loved Bo Peep but he wasn't near as important as Reggie was
Feel like McClain should’ve got the 2020 dude balled out that year
1989 should be Slack
And 1996 1997 Craig...we never had a better passer than Craig
Best game ever 👍
1997, D Craig, period. Glaring mistake
😂😂😂
Tyrone Goodson over Demayne Craig, you are crazy as a bat! 1987
💀
Alot of RB's on this list
Auburn has a good history of running backs
Very cool video though I believe Zakoby was better than Smoke in 20 other than that I mostly agree with yoy
Thanks
Bo nix should have been on this list
This was a great game i mean the best 👍
Cam Newton
WDE
Smoke Monday?? Seriously??
Yeah, who else would it be?
@@SECCentralHighlightsSeth Williams definitely has a case for that year
