@@Timcanniff311 crazy isn’t it? I’m an international Falls supposedly the coldest place in the United States first time in my 40 years i ever remember there being no snow ❄️
I was laughing when you said those twins sucked, then you started it. You are so right. I had a set of crank shop pipes on my 02 pro x 440/800 swap. They were stupid loud. Cut the stingers open and there was literally zero packing in them. Once we packed them they still were loud, just not ridiculous. I've got old vids on my page of it. That sled made me always want the 04...but it was so rare I would have felt bad destroying it like I did the 02.
I have the same pipes on one of my pro xrs. They only sound decent at wfo. I agree they just don’t sound great in general. The slp single pipe setup sounds way better imo. I’m curious how the cpi’s sound.
I thought for sure you were going to replace the windshield with the NOS chrome version that you had up for sale on Facebook group a couple of days ago. Did you already sell that short chrome windshield, or is that still up for sale? I'm here in Big Lake, too...
@@AKproXR I bought the 99 xc600 off you a couple of years ago. We've added an 04 RMK to our fleet. If the windshield doesn't sell by the 3rd, I'll come down to see you. Are you busy working on the weekends?

@AKproXR i have a 04 Pro XR 800 with SLP twin pipes on it and im wondering if its worth buying vforce 3 reeds for it? I can't find much information about it on forums.
Where did you find the windshield, I have the same exact sled, an 04 Proxr 800 orange stretched to a 136 with a hill cross hard paddle 1 3/4” with 1/4” screws, clear larger fuel tank and has a pipe with Mbrp can but my seat is a little faded and has a small crack, broke the orange ski loops and they only had black ones and the sticker on the windshield visor is faded
Iv been collecting parts for these for years. Most the hard to find stuff I buy and have shipped up from the lower 48. Last time I checked Polaris could still order orange ski loops. There’s a guy on the prox FB pages that is making very nice repro seat covers for the orange proxr’s now
@@AKproXR thanks, my dad and I have been looking for some o parts that are the same color, my dad got it in 04 and he used to have a 03 pro xr 440 then he 800 modded it
Find urself a slp single pipe for that thing. Had one on a 99rmk and it sure was nice having a lil more bottom end grunt. Not to mention it doesn't blow ur eardrums to shit like the twins.👌

Stock pipe is trash on a prox. Huge dent on the bottom side to clear the tall shock towers. The unfortunate truth is the prox 800’s make quite a bit less power then the edge 800’s, even with the same engine do to the difference in stock pipes.
You guys got lots of snow we haven’t saw nothing here in Minnesota at first time in 40 years

I'm in northwestern Wisconsin and this no snow sucks
@@upnorthvlogs this is my fun time of year and my sled is just pointing out of the garage just waiting to rip
We got a dusting last night in Northern Wisconsin right by the U.P. Border.

Would be cool to see a somewhat in depth video on re sealing walker shocks
Twins into a single can has always sounded kind of off to me as well, how about rigging up some individual pipe stingers?
we need another update this winter on this!!!
they definitely don't sound like traditional twin pipes! something seems off
would love to see the shock rebuild

The new prox2 windshield? Still have it. Toss me an offer.

brraaaaap great videos
So I got a question are these sleds faster or slower than your white XC 700 the one you just got new c&a pro skis for
slower,hard to beat a 97,98 big block 700
@@nephtonstores1188 do you think she could beat a 03 f7?
03 was a good year for the f7 but it is hard to beat the xc with the proper clutching they are rockets@@justforlaughs8988
That 700 is much quicker then my 800. It’s not stock, though.
You should try out jaws rowdy can
Right on
The prox does sound weird
Stop polishing it and ride!!
It needs a lot of work! Will show in next video..
Engine sounds like its got one foot in the grave.
Fresh.
Needs TO BE cleaned up*
Personally stock on these engines is normally best.

Nope sounds whiney but its mostly the can.i think yaa i like lrp pipes they best !!!
I wonder if Todd Clyne's trash can would wake up the sound.
He doesn’t make a trash can for SLP twins on a prox.
For the single I already have a MBRP race can.

The SLP’s on the XC sound so good… but those are into glass packs. These into a can are 👎
Good call on those pipes. Sounds 👎
