  • Presenting: "UltraLight"
Designed to be as light and as rigid as possible, with ease of printing in mind. No overhangs over 50 degrees, no supports required. Prints at a conservative speed in about 2-2.5 hours. (I use slow (30mm/s) perimeters for quality)
All the walls/blades are exactly 0.8mm thick with just some tiny 1.2mm thick areas for some added strength. Tweaked heights/widths to so that everything lines up with 0.2mm layer heights.
In terms of its design - I have no clue what I'm doing. I used Tinkercad, and nipped and cut away at the hub until I had exactly .8mm wall thickness so it'd be two nozzle widths wide. I used the "S" shape in tinkercad, stretched it out, thinned it out, and used some dead reckoning and some luck to figure out how thick the blades needed to be for the thinnest/strong design possible.
My hope is that with the thin, sharp blades and low weight, the RPM's will be high and the sound will still be tolerable.
    Spec:
Printed weight: About 15 grams on my food scale
    Printed with Value Silver PLA,
    Print Settings:
    210c hotend,
    60c glass bed
    .2mm layer height
    .4mm nozzle,
100% infill. (doesn't matter because its 99% perimeters)
If you wanted to shout out my fledgling review channel, "Sudz Reviews" I'd be super thankful, but by no means required!
