    What time frame would sunset be? Between 3 to 6 PM?

      It depends where you live. It's usually 30- 60 minutes after the sun comes up when it starts to get daylight or 30 -60 minutes before it goes down when it starts to get dark.

    What do you think about wearing sunglasses? I heard it prevents your body from making melatonin.

      Hi Trish,
      The body does slow melatonin production when the eyes receive light. This is a natural instinct that makes sense for ancestral humans without the capability to make artificial light. But today many people have disrupted sleep due to digital devices, which emit blue-light. This light disrupts melatonin production in the body, which is responsible for regulating sleep.
      I recommend wearing polarized sunglasses while outside to protect against UV-A and UV-B light. Similarly, blue-light blocking glasses are excellent for use on digital devices, particularly within 2-3 hours of bed.
