First of all, thanks for testing the Hollyland Lark M2 in an environment with a lot of echo. Thank you. And then a little info: Single click activates ENC ( environmental noise canceling), double click starts/stops smartphone video recording.
While the m2 does sound better I think you’d benefit from a mic with a different pickup pattern to address the echo in your audio in that space. You’re quite animated so I see how the lav style helps when you move around but have you tried a cardiod or supercardiod shotgun style?
Hello! Do you happen to know if with the OSA microphones we can record with both microphones simultaneously? I wanted to by these for a podcast but I'm not sure if it's possible to connect both microphones at the same time.
@@marcelontechthat'd be great 🙏 There doesn't seem to be any video right now on RUclips "Hollyland Mark M2 to Macbook Pro" or something along those lines so think it might be a good one too as I'm sure other people are curious. I did see this (ruclips.net/video/yR1dWYnH9sA/видео.html&pp=ygUPZGppIG1hY2Jvb2sgcHJv) but it was for the DJI.
@@marcelontech Take a wooden frame a meter square and fill it with loft insulation. Cover it with fabric. Chose the right fabric, how? Hold it up and pull it tight. then blow through it with your lips pressed against it. If you can blow through it reasonably easy, it will allow sound to penetrate easily. The sound passes through the fabric easily and is trapped in the loft insulation. 5-6 of these on each wall will stop the echo enough. You don't want to end up with an unnaturally dead room. Don't use loft insulation with glass fibres in it. 😊😊
great review but you didnt test it with and without the noise cancel on. the noise cancel is on by default. it sound kind of naff with noise cancel on
You are totally right and the ANC I believe isn't actually very good.

Ha ha brilliant thank you. I was aware of the single click and thought thats what I had done. Turns out no..... It's cool little device right

Thank you so much. You are totally right and yes I did try a RODE mic shot gun that wasn't very good. I will search the other one you mentioned
Thank you for your presentation.
Thank you so much for your feedback.
Good comparison
Thank you
Can we use the OSA with a DJI Osmo Action 4 (USB C Port). Great video. Thank you.
Hard to confirm that without testing but should be compatible

Yes they should absolutely be able to record simultaneously and if they do not send them back.
@@marcelontech thank you very much for your answer 🙏
Can you connect and record on a Mac?
Yes you can. Macs tend to have very good mics but this will be better
@@marcelontechhave you tested by the way how it compares?
@@diaryofafounder actually no but can do

Hollyland is a much brighter more natural sounding mic 👍
Yes I agree with you. Thank you for commenting
Hi, great video thank you.
Can you use the OSA mic with the DJI Pocket 3?
Thanks in advance xx
Would love to answer that I don't have DJI. Hopefully someone else in the community does.
There's a lot of echo in that room. A LOT!
Yes you are right. I will find a solution.

@@JWS1968 wow that's great thank you so much. Will try that out.
OSA is not consistent and is distracting. I would go with the Lark M2 is quality was remotely important to me.
Thank you so much for your feedback!
Night and day difference between the two. The M2 blows the other away.
Thanks and you are right.
