Which one do you think is better between Lark M2 vs Lark Max? My big consideration is Lark M2 only use magnet and I'm afraid somehow the magnetic might lose its power.
M2 sounds better ... More clear ..... Especially unedited (RAW) , which i prefer out of my PRO speakers , compared to your edited version. But it does sound more crystal clear than DJI ..... and waaaay better than the RODE Wireless PRO which were compared in some other videos (and sound totally muffled compared to LARK M2s) by other RUclipsrs. I think HollyLand may have created a small treasure for independent cinematographers.
I have to agree, it’s really amazing that a tiny mic can produce such a big sound. So far i’m enjoying hollyland. Hoping the lark max gets 32bit float soon
"Need help with noise cancellation, please! I tried the new Lark M2 mic on my Note 22 Ultra Samsung. Even with noise cancellation set to 'Strong' and volume at 6, TV sound still gets in my recordings. How can I fix this?"
Noise cancelling can't cancel all noise and if you are looking for total quiet, you still need to do your part and find a quiet place to record. hope this helps, cheers!
I researched lots of good things about it and ordered one and arrived today, upon unboxing, while I pull out the magnet at the back of microphone, the metal plate sticked to the microphone been pulled out as well. I think this is a design flaw as I'd observed that the metal plate behind the microphone doesn't have anything to lock it in place but just some kind of hot glue. I lost confident right away because I don't know when will the glue fail again. The strong magnet power will eventually pull out the metal plate again. I'd returned it to Amazon. I like the sound quality but I don't want to take the risk of loosing it.
I was actually enjoying the video until you handheld the lav mics for testing... I would never use it holding it in front of my mouth the tests don't hold value for me. Nice video otherwise.
What did you guys think of the sound? Which mic sounds best to your ears?
Amazing Review.
I Will Buy The M2 Because The Shure Movemic Is Near 200% More Expensive.
Thanks So Much
You’re welcome. Cheers!
Great review! What camera did you use to record the video? I think you mentioned that in the video but I can't seem to find it!
Thanks, the Sony A7S3 and dji pocket 3
Good that you tested it clipped on shirt.. other reviewers I seen didn’t. Makes a difference in sound quallity
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the video
I just bought mine. That range is crazy for such a small device. Not like we are going to use it that far.
Haha, yeah it is. It’s nice to have all the range of needed. Thanks for watching
Can the adapter be connected to phone while the phone case is on?
Yes I believe it can. Also no need to unplug the adaptor to hear audio playback on the phone.
@@TomWadeCine that’s good news!
With ios if we use two transmittors at once like for shop promotion video. How would the sound comes from? On same channel or different
Thanks for the comparison! To my ear the M2 sounds very, very close to the DJI and the Max (I kinda prefer the sound?)
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I think it sounds great. Can’t get over the size!

I like the lark Max.
Can you tell us how to pair them m2
Mine just automatically paired. I think you long press the button on the tx and rx to go into pair mode.
what are you using in post to edit the audio? And can you show us how? Thanks
I do my own sound design in FCPX

The problem with the small size is you have a small battery. What will the shelf life of the battery be. It may only charge for a couple of years.
That’s a valid point. Thanks for sharing.
The way tech is made, and at what speeds, in a couple years, it's most likely you wouldn't even be using the Lark M2, so it's not really an issue.
@@IsleofRhodesanother valid point! Thanks for commenting.
What is real battery life on receivers and transmitter?
I was getting around 6 hrs or so for the transmitters. So far I’ve been very happy

Sorry to hear that. Mine has been working great since but I honestly only use it maybe once a week or so
@@TomWadeCine Ya, it will eventually pulled out by the strong magnet.

None of them are good until they can connect Bluetooth earbuds
