I like Mr. Onstad and love the way the Dynamo play. However, his continual statement that the goal is making the playoffs is a goal of mediocrity. It is setting the bar horribly low. Most important is that making the playoffs outside of top 4 has no value. No Cup has ever been won outside a top-4 finish. The playoff format used now makes it even harder than it was under previous formats. Teams that just want to make the playoffs are loser teams. The Dynamo will not be an elite team until leadership define success as competing for the Supporters Shield.
