- Amira Musallam's in laws were evicted from their land which has since been taken over by armed Israeli settlers with plans to build a new Jewish community.
Amira says they have papers from the Israeli supreme court proving the land is theirs. But so far authorities are not removing the squatters. Protestors-both Israelis and Palestinians alike-have set up a 24/7 vigil on the site to draw attention to the issue which is part of a wider phenomenon of land grabs on disputed territories.
Here is this Christian Palestinian family's story.

In 1948 the israelis evicted at gun point more than 700000 Palestinian christians and muslims to artificially create a state with jewish majority. So they formed a "democracy" that can pass apartheid laws favouring the jews. Even if they appoint a muslim or christian judge they are forced to rule based on these racist laws. Again the jewish settlers can carry out actions on the ground without regard for any laws and frequently face no consequences. And the US is fully complicit in these actions as they always provide diplomatic cover for the israelis.

You have probably have read my comments before it was deleted.
That's what I've been taught for years, but it seems to be the arab version of history.
Jews, christians and muslems were living on the same land for centuries, in relative peace, though muslems were the majority, and they didn't accept any other opinion. From 1923 more jews came to the land, that is where Arabs decide we're going to kill them, but then British troops intervened . Again in 1947 Arabs started genocide against jews, and jews fight back, arabs lost the war, were shamed by their leaders, and forced to leave the area, that is called "nakba" by them. Next year the state of israël was declared. islam/arab has a fundamental problem with jews and christians being present in the Holy Land. They teach their followers that the Holy Land is muslem land, though jews ( and later christians) have a much older history with the land, and Jews have built two temple's on it. Abraham was the first to bring a sacrifice on the Temple Mount, a sacrifice to the one God. He believed in the revelation of the one God of Israël.

@@PalestineDecoded except Israeli leadership has now admitted to never accepting treaties or making sure they never strive for peace with Palestinians and to deny them the right of self determination at all cost. Historical record also makes that obvious so didn’t need them to admit it but nice for Netanyahu to not be duplicitous for once.
