- On September 21, 2024, Shri Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone for two National Highway projects in Pune, Maharashtra. These include the four-laning of a 13 km stretch from Dive Ghat to Hadapsar on the Mohol-Alandi section of NH-965 (Palkhi Marg Package VI) and the construction of major bridges on the Mula-Mutha River along with service roads from Sinhagad Road to Warje on the Pune-Satara section of NH-48. These projects aim to enhance connectivity between Pune, Satara, and Solapur, providing a smoother journey for devotees travelling to the sacred temple of Lord Vitthal. Additionally, the stretches will facilitate faster travel, alleviate traffic congestion, and boost local economies.
We love your work @nitingadkari ji.But Please check the quality of existing highways Sir… The quality of Nh48 Wakad to Satara stretch is the worst and not at all a national highway standard. We pay 180 rupees of toll tax to government for travelling distance of 135 kms and it is taking us 5 -6 hours due to extremely poor quality of road. Please do something about this… i have sent lots of message and comments regarding this no one cares to respond… and i am most certain that even this comment will be ignored.
The problem is we are very slow in development in Pune. The need of the hour was understood very late. There is no proactive work. All of them are reactive work. Pune ki Halat abhi bohot durbal he. ek massive city ki infrastructure jaise honni chahiye waise nhi he abhi.

Traffic jams in Pimpri Chinchwad-Pune are worsening day by day. Traffic jam causes unnecessary fuel wastage which causes pollution as well.
City boasts as an IT hub but road conditions are worse than any remote village place. The size and quality of the roads are very bad. NHAI closes all the grievances by pointing to upcoming projects but there is no progress on it. Government should provide more attention to the highway stretches which come within the city limits. Lastly people rarely travel to other cities but have to travel to offices daily.

Instead of spending money on advertising, spend it on quality of the roads. Mumbai Goa highway is being built from past 15 years.... And by looks of road it probably won't be finished for another 15.
गडकरीजी , NHAI आपसे REQUEST है की सुरत - चेन्नई महामार्ग via लातूर जाए , क्यू की अभी लातूर महानगरपालिका होकर भी divisional Headquarter संभाजीनगर ( औरंगाबाद) , पुणे , मुंबई , हैदराबाद को 4 लेन से connected नहीं है...पुणे / मुंबई जाने के लिये मजबुरन सोलापूर से जाना पडता है , जो इतिहास मे कभी भी लातूर से पुणे जाणे का रुट नहीं था ...लातूर education pattern कोटा राजस्थान जैसे प्रसिद्ध है, लातूर APMC मंडी को राष्ट्रीय दर्जा होकर भी लातूर - बार्शी - टेंभुर्णी मार्ग 4 लेन नहीं हो रहा...कृपया आप लातूर - बार्शी - टेंभुर्णी रोड को 4 लेन करे , ये बिनती...इस से पुरे इलाके मे विकास होने मे मदद होगी...
Pune needs a ring road, period. NHAI should simply take over all of the projects these local govt bodies haven't been able to complete for decades upon decades. The pune-shirur elevated corridor being transferred from NHAI to MSIDC is yet another piece of bad news for punekars.
Look at the condition of Pune city, it stinks, pot holes, traffic jams, narrow roads, daily accidents...request you to fix that first the road we daily use not the highways and an instrument of corruption
City roads comes under Municipal Corporation…your comment on this NHAI channel means nothing to them…you need to complain to your local Municipality…!

Please do big trees plantation on all pakakhi marg.. I dont see any single tree planted on this road.. People are walking all the way to Pandhrpur on this road in heat will be be trouble because of heat.. Request to plant the big trees.

First complete pending work at Khambatki Ghat New Tunnel, which is pending for more than 6 years, third class ministry will not be able to do that , they are interested to delay the project as long as possible so that budget will be increased and common man will take a burden of their inefficiency 😢😢😢
