This is the best Rhinestone tutorial I have seen. I bought a Silhouette 3 years ago just to make templates for Rhinestones and I have not made a one. It was so intimidating but you made it easy peezy. Will be trying it for the 1st time tomorrow. Thank you

Great job! What works for me is removing the shiny backing off the flock before I cut the holes in it. I then use the shiny paper to put sticky flock back on to store it and the flock stickiness helps with keeping template tacked to your surface so it doesn't moved around when brushing in stones. I just used my little scraper to get off dots left behind on mat.

Hi! Love your videos! Just an fyi. Try applying your template to the pan on the sticky side. That will keep it in place so u can apply your rhinestones & pull up the stones with ease using your hotfix transfer tape. Also try laying your template sticky side down on a picture frame to pull out those stubborn holes that stayed attached. Happy rhinestoning!!! 🤩

Great job. You can use the large plastic cutting mats from dollar tree to store your templates. They can be cut down to size easily and keep your template sticky. The paper will eventually lessen the tack of the template.

Great tutorial. I have seen it where the white area is removed the backing. Put just the flock on the mat. You will then have the bottom sheet to put it back on when you cut the flock. You then scrape the pink dots off the mat

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. You asked in a f/u video about how to get the holes out of the flock when you weed/peel it. You can use some of your heat transfer paper. That can help get the residual off , while not getting so many of the dots on your cutting board. It’s very difficult to clean of the board and scraping them off can mess up the stickiness of your board. I hope that helps a bit.

Thanks so much and depending on where you purchase them they will tell you what fabrics you can use but this is cotton… so yes you can on cotton…

I loved your video but have one question. How do you make sure the stones are right side up? 😂 I might be thinking too hard but that’s been my reservation. Does the brushing remove the stones that aren’t oriented correctly?
