The Beatles' outfits are holy garments. 😃
Michael H. They’re more than holy.
@Michael H. after all the Beatles were bigger than Jesus
Amen
Love The Beatles memorabilia!!! Great video as usual!!! The Beatles suits are from 1963.
I’d love to see the Beatles stuff. Can’t wait to visit this museum.
I remember this day, I was a guitar tech in the UK, and was on the phone to Fender parts department when they told me.
Seeing gerrys jacket was awesome
When we were there years ago they made you leave cameras in lockers - absolutely no photography. I am really glad for these vlogs as a reminder of what we saw. Fun to see the ‘60’s memorabilia! My kids were into NSync so that is where we spent more of our time. These were fun to watch.
My friend worked for Mesa Boogie up here in Nor-Cal. All kinds of famous band members came in the store. Loved the stories. Kind of surprised Buddy Holly and Richie Valens didn't have their own 'special spot' for their memorabilia rather than being grouped together with everyone else. Very interesting tour and thank you for posting!
The original heart of gold lyrics. talk about finding gold. :) wow!
Awesome vlogs! Thank you for coming here I have always wanted to see it!
Cool video! I had always wanted to visit the rock and rock hall of fame. I am a lover of good old fashioned rock n roll music. My secret dream was to be a rock n roll singer kind of like Joan Jett or Pat Benetar in the 80’s. But my insecurities never allowed me to go after my dream. There was no RUclips at that time. that’s why I’m very envious of you young kids nowadays that you have this great opportunity to get noticed.
Boy, you know your music history! I particularly loved the Beatles exhibits. I hope Paul and Ringo live forever!!
How were you able to shoot this? I went there years ago and tried to take pic with my phone and was quickly told/warned "no pics were allowed"
Same here. There were a few cars in the opening foyer that we could take pics of. ZZ Top Eliminator car, Joplins' car, etc but was warned we'd be thrown out for pic beyond there.
We had to leave cameras in lockers. They were adamant about no photography saying items were personal property of people lending them. That was years ago.
Just loved this vlog! Especially enjoyed seeing the Rolling Stones exhibit as well as the Beatles and Small Faces. Thanks for your hard work on this one. Safe travels!
💋Congratulations and Best Wishes for the future hitting 100k. Been here since under 15k. Can’t wait to see you hit 1million+ ~Blessings Love and Light 💖Carli
Awesome 👍 for all your fan family congrats on 100 k been a g ride
22:37 The Beatles
And 23:11
Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood weren’t actually in The Small Faces. It was only when Steve Marriott left that they joined and the band became, Faces.
Steve Marriott was THE best, all time fave singer
Loved Part 2! Congratulations on 100,000 subscribers! It has been so much fun watching your channel grow and get here. I’m so proud!
Every Time I go there I am always tempted to get Cliff Burton's Rickenbacker and make a break for the door lol. I love going to the Rock -n-Roll hall of fame!!
Awesome museum. Thanks for sharing.
SO much great stuff here! I love that you spent time and talked about Mother Love Bone and the Melvins. Although I'm not a huge fan of either, my sister was. She actually met the Melvins before a show and they were extremely kind to her and talked and hung out with her for an hour or so before they went on. She's passed as of April year before last , and I know that was one of her happiest days. She somehow had correspondence with Andy Wood's brother and he sent her an early and rare Mother Love Bone shirt through the mail and she treasured that shirt. :..(
This year's nominees include TRex, which is my favorite band of all time. I'm very excited to see some Marc Bolan memerobilia in your future videos!
Thanks for the tour Jordan!!
R.I.P
@@sheddingmyvelvet Hey, thanks alot, that's very kind my friend. I hope things are going well in your life.
This was so cool to see, very much appreciated and back stories. Thank you Jordan. Happiness for 2020.
would love that one bass for a friend
Just awesome, was very happy to see some Moby Grape stuff in there...def. one of my favorite (and most underrated!) bands :) Jim from Built To Spill has built me a few fuzz pedals!
That's awesome!! I love Built To Spill.. One of the best guitar based bands in the last 30 years, I think..
Daze with Jordan the Lion Agree! Keep It Like A Secret has always been a favorite of mine, Happy New Year Jordan!
Great video! Was there any E Street Band stuff? I have a funny story. I did a recording session in Bucks County Pa with original drummer Vini Lopez one of the founding members with Bruce and we had lunch at a local diner just me , Vini and a friend of mine who hired us both for the session. The R&R HOF asked him to donate some memorabilia so he donated some of the clothes he wore when he was in the band. When they asked him for his snare drum he said NO! You can have it when I'm dead because I am still using it lol. That was a month after they were inducted. Vini was on the 1st 3 albums before he had a fallout with the band. He was replaced by Max Weinberg right before Born to Run was recorded.
Great collection of priceless items. Sorry to hear they treat the artist unfavorably. Without them, there would not be a Hall of Fame. Thanks for the tour Jordan. Awesome as always!
I make a trip there yearly should probably go more often since I live about an hour away
The monday favorite comment question...
If you could choose, what would your favorite Jordan video(s) be?
Thank you so much for the videos Jordan! Say hi to our favorite dog please!
I love those carved wood guitars I didn't see them when I was there. Thanks Jordan I can never get enough Rock & Roll history. Love the hand tailored items as I did some similar work myself. Love to look so good back it the day.
You’re so lucky to see this would love to go to places like this ❤️ great vlog 👏🏼
JTL that was spectacular, music history like no other. The guitar 🎸 collection was so cool. Thanks for sharing ☮️
I didn't see any displays featuring The Monkees?!? WTF, hey!
Congrats on 100K!! I really enjoyed the Beatles exhibit.
Talk about walking down memory lane, this was truly fantastic. I loved every minute of it. Jordan I want to wish you a a prosperous and great New Year and Congratulations on reaching your goal on 100K. Love and Light to you and the Jah-ster... God Bless you for all the vlogs.
Nice video, but that’s a poncho, not a parka. A parka is an Eskimo-style winter coat. Also, I’m just curious... why would you think a Cream bass would be in a Haight-Ashbury exhibit? Cream was a British band.
Its a cool place. They should get rid of the word Rock .and call it the music hall of fame. Because they let everybody in. Rappers , soul groups .disco artist..etc. You don't find rappers or soul acts in the country hall of fame..its called ROCK for a reason..let the rappers and disco acts open their own hall of fame ...ok that's my 2 cents
love QUICKSILVER Messenger Service! AND Moby Grape! your taste in music is impeccable ,Jordan .Bill Graham said that MOBY GRAPE could outplay lots of other bands that were more famous.
💘 daze with Jordan the lion! We love jah! ❤
Happy New year! 🎉
Another Great Adventure !! Thank you for taking us on your Journey with you Congratulations on 100K
Amazing video! All of his videos are awesome 👏🏽👍🏼😊 My husband, kids & I watch JTL daily. And are Never disappointed 👍🏼👍🏼
In regards to the Beatles suits from 1963. The suit belonged to Paul McCartney...and the jacket belonged to John Lennon. The Beatles stopped wearing these suits around November 1963. When Madame' Tussauds Wax Museum set up their Beatles display in April 1964...all 4 Beatles donated these suits for the figures. As The Beatles look changed thru the 1960's...they kept donating their clothes to show the change of fashion. Years later...these clothes were put up for auction by Madame Tussauds...and that's how they entered the collectors market...
Thank You for sharing Jordan, I enjoy watching all the places that you go, I’ll prolly never get there . I’m seeing it through your eyes . Loves 😘to Jah ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Congrats on 100K!! You have gained many followers since I found you on 4/15/19!! I know you made the right decision to start your adventure!!
Being a musician, I really enjoyed the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame vlogs! Thanks, Jordan!
Hey Jordan! Thanks for taking us on so many trips that some of us will never get to go on! Hugs!
Congrats on 100,000k Jordan! Great museum! I used to watch the Rock and Jock softball game on MTV all the time! It was fun to watch.
Great vlog J!! Always wanted to visit there...ty !!
Jordan, im so glad they have Michael Anthony's bass! That made my day. Thanks brother!
Pretty cool to see! MA is great
Absolutely! Im shocked that he let them have it. Thats like giving up his arm.
MA has never received his due
Double Wow. And all this rock and roll goodness continues. Fantastic stuff Jordan. Thank. You.
I could quite literally live there...what a place to be! Thanks, Jordan, awesome vlog as usual.
To be in the vicinity of any Rolling Stones stuff is a treat in itself but I may be slightly biased 😉.
Awesome video! Amazing displays of iconic treasures from the 60's and 70's. How great is this? Thank you for sharing...Absolutely incredible!
26:16 - He can be seen playing the 12-string acoustic in this video. (Also one of the two only known videos of him on an acoustic.) ruclips.net/video/IPtv14q9ZDg/видео.html
Have you heard of the Cleveland Torso Murders?
Very Cool! Another trip through time and space with Jordan the Lion
Thanks Rick
Been there many years ago. Looks more organized now. Thanks for posting.
Can you do a filming location of the Lost Boys.
NC- MazziStar
If you do can you find out who the fine young man playing the sax at the pier is?
As always Jordan you've done it again for your 100,000 subscribers edition. I stumbled across your vlogs as things to watch were slim, Adam the woo was a little weird and then you showed up and showed history of LA movies like Charlie Chaplin. You went into some details of controversial subjects like Errol Flynn, Clark Gables love life and Mae west. Such an achievement and I consider you a good friend because of all the time we spend together watching your exploits! You've gone to places I've thought about going! Awesome job!!
Interesting that the Didnt put The Stax recording artists in there own area as there not Fame recording artists. Steve Cropper, Donald Dunn, Otis Redding were all on Stax
he casually adresses that JOHN LENNON'S RICKENBACKER AND CASINO is right in front of him
RE Lennon's passport photo; All of the Beatles, and many other celebs, got their passport pics taken at Sharkey's, a 'mom & pop' photo service that has been in central London since the 1950s. They're still in business, now run by the son. When I was there they had display cases on the wall filled with photos of celebrities who've been through there. Sean Connery, Woody Allen, Muhammad Ali, ..the list is impressive, dozens over the decades. Their first was Errol Flynn.
you know next to Lowell George's guitar what's right by it is not a glass slide not a metal slide not a Coricidan medicine bottle slide like Duane Allman but a Sears Craftsman spark plug socket.. George always used ithe did not use a traditional finger slide but a Sears Craftsman because of the way that it fit and also the warranty..just like all Sears Craftsman tools bring it back will exchange it for the life of the tool.. if it broke just go to Sears and exchange it LOL.. unfortunately Sears and Lowell are now a thing of the past..
look up Nicky Hopkins sometime he played on so many Classic albums you found him not only on the stones stuff, The who stuff, he was all over John Lennon's imagine album and a whole hell of a lot more.
I wonder if some people just “dislike” the videos to be buttheads. I can not imagine someone watching the whole thing and thinking to themselves “I dislike this video” lol
Love this tour, so many of my favorites! Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark, the Hollies, Jefferson Airplane, Buffalo Springfield, The Band, the Spinners, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, too many to mention! Thank you for these tours!
Course your going to get complaints from Fans that didn't see displays of their Bands, but No THE WHO ? not one Smashed Guitar, then you leave with Long Live Rock,,, a WHO song.... but I am Glad I got to VISIT because you let me Tag Along so Thanks Much, sounds like it would take a lot longer than 3 hours to see it all.... hope to see it someday Too!
I knew you would do great things. 100,000!!! You deserve the best. You give so much to others. Love the eras of music. Enjoyed the two vlogs. Much love to you and Jah. Safe travels!!❤❤❤🦁
🥳Happy New Year!
Thanks for sharing the footage, Jordan!
I attended the grand opening the RRHOF, still have a set of unused numbered tickets and the red streamers the shot off from mini canons. Had it all framed. The Beatles brown collarless suits looked so small. Those guys were very small frame men back in the 60’s. What a day that was. Once in a lifetime experience.
Thank you for recording the Doors site.
Hey Jordan great video on the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame my opinion is the same as yours about their ““ the way they treat musicians but would’ve loved to have seen anything on Skynyrd you did the Allman Brothers and I know I saw your blog with Jean Odom which was awesome by the way I’d like to go there and see the whole place but I still would have my opinions just like you anyway thank you for sharing great blog as always appreciate what you do
Thanks so much for going there. And thanks a heap for showing Herman's Hermits area. I am a lifetime fan of Peter Noone & it is so fitting that Mike Smith's suit was right next to Peter's stuff. They were good friends. I don't think I will ever get to that museum & I also do not appreciate the way "they" treat the nominees. Thanks for sharing.
Peter Noon is the nicest, sweetest guy. He use to come to Mishawaka, IN for benefit concerts for the police department. He would stop by my neighborhood bar after the show and hang out. Just a really nice man. Saw Peter last Christmas and mentioned he used to drop in at the bar about 30 years ago in Mishawaka after his show and he told me he remembered and then told me the name of the bar and the vicinity of its location! He is 73 or 74 and does not look it. At all. Very cool experience and memory.
I spent sooooo much time in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame that it was nuts!!! A super good video Jordan!!! ♥️
Me and my mom was there on the 12th of August this year it was awesome experience my mom LOVED the Elvis section she loves him a lot.
I think the whole idea of a Hall of fame for rock is strange. So many great bands never make it big, and are nun the less important. Sub Pop featured tons a great bands no one ever heard of. Still fun to see the memorabilia. Thumbs up!
The rock and roll hall of fame lost all credibility when they allowed a rap group in.
John Lennon’s passport is such a trip, all was so good! Thanks for sharing as always!
Great video Jordan..you’re a wealth of knowledge.mate…crack on!
did you know that the first LP of the Byrds Roger was the only one of the group who played on it the rest was the Wrecking Crew
Can you do a story on the Scottish band Nazareth. "The original members "
saying that sids boots look like peter pans boots is funny because the actor who plays sid in the sex pistols series also plays peter pan in a newer version
I live in Ohio and never been. Wonderful job showing everything.
Oui mais, dommage de constater que presque tous les affaires (vêtements, instruments et... j’en passe) de Brian Jones, l'original Rolling Stone, ont disparus!!! Volés, brûlés ???? ... Peut-être que l’en ne le saura jamais !
Awesome video the Lion shined on this one very cool memorabilia Jimi Hendrix say no more ✌️
oh would love to have the Mike Smith outfit he is my fav Rock singer
oh gosh the Mike Smith outfit LOVED that man and his voice
This looks wicked I am from England they got one here? Prob London.
Love seeing the punk and the rest. Great stuff dolls are my favourite ps Rod stewart fronted The faces a hybrid of The Small Faces steve Marriott was lead of the small faces.
CHUCK BERRY's guitar. that is what the Hall (to me) was supposed to be all about. when I heard there would be a R&R Hall of Fame, I envisioned a statue outside of Chuck doing his duck walk from the era that the photo here was taken. but that's me. great vlog.
cool.
I’ll probably never get the chance to go here, so thanks.
I went there in 2001. Was a large Lennon and Hendrix display. They had Lennon's bloodied glasses from the night he was killed on displayed with an armed guard next to them and the bag with his clothes from that night. You can take the train from the airport directly to the Hall Of Fame. At that time, most hotels would pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel for free if you asked them.
Now I don't have to go to Cleveland....thanks!
Those Harley Davidson suspenders next to Izzys guitar at around 15:51 did they belong to Axl? Definitely seen him wear those in the appetite days
Very possible. There was no card indicator
I always wonder how do they get the clothes that the singers wear. Who has them?? Family members ? Friends? Spouses?
Hi Jordan, CONGRATS ON 100K!!, OH!, I do like Ringo's jacket at the start. Great seeing Janice's beads and glasses etc. Oh, that room key collection made me chuckle, now it would just be a bag of cheap plastic cards that all look the same with no definition. The Beatles section did it for me though, outfits, guitars, drumsticks etc FANTASTIC!!! Great vlog Jordan.
I remember seeing some of that stuff now, especially Jim Morrison's items. I remember hoping to see some cool Pink Floyd stuff and they had nothing lol. Hopefully they have more nowadays.
Did you go to the top floor? The whole top floor is dedicated to floyd.they have a huge wall and a bunch of other props from the wall.
@@JamesLee-lk4kx I went back in 1996. I think PF had been inducted by then but they didn't have anything but The Wall movie playing on a small CRT. I'm gonna have to get back there to check it out.
@@HellcatCustoms ahh got ya,yeah they have done some pretty cool stuff since then.definateky worth rechecking it out, take care..
Hi Jordan, This is your forte’ I love this format... gee so many old favorites!! Thanks a bunch!! You know as life goes on we don’t forget we just need a reminder every once in awhile. What fun my brothers would tell stories about the old bands, sweet memories all of them... oh “Heart of Gold” sweet sweet memory~ I just can’t tell you how much I love all these bands!! From what my brothers ever told me it was a great time to be there, and have first hand info!! Fun fun fun!! So take care, safe travels🌺🌼🌸🌹🌿🍃🎂🕯 🌻🌻👩🏻💻
Another great vlog jordan love watching your channel. Congratulations on getting 100k subscribers. I have been a subscriber for quite a while. I subscribed when the vlogs were in the 500's area still. But I don't recall how many subscribers you had at that time. Keep up the great work, always look forward to seeing your next vlog
Awesome video Jordan, originally from Cleveland and only been to HOF once, was in their second year. Congratulations on 100k and I hope you have a wonderful New Year.
Very good job! I was interested to know if the B.B. King guitar was "Lucille" so I looked her up. Apparently all of his guitar's were. That is one fact I would have never known if it hadn't been for your tours through there. So thanks for all you do!😁
