Spring and Fall are my favorite months in Reno! But, I do love snowboarding in the winter and hitting the lake in the Summer! :) What are your favorite seasons in the Reno area?
You are right on about the weather, ive lived here my whole life and this is a highly unusual winter. We usually have much, much lighter warmer winters. I love the weather here, its perfect usually. In the summer, we do get about a week sometimes more of 100 plus degrees. Another thing about Reno is we usually have close to 300 days of blue skies and sunshine. Great place to live
I think most of us who live in Reno are ready for Spring/Summer after this winter. I love the weather here as well, overall it’s good and the four seasons are beautiful! 😃
My issue is humidity. How humid is it in all the seasons? I need to be in an area with humidity no higher than 50% most of the time (obviously it's higher when it's raining), but actually Dew Point is a better indicator of humidity in the air and under 40%/50% is what I need in that case. Do you have any information Dew Point and humidity?
Understood. I’m not sure of the most accurate weather site for humidity, so I wouldn’t want to give you the wrong information. But, if you’re looking for a place with humidity less than 50% year round, you probably need to explore places like Vegas or Phoenix.

As visitors from Chicago, we are truly enjoying this Reno "winter", this week. So warm during the day, I forget it's February!
Glad you’re enjoying it!

You get a little bit of all 4 seasons, and that’s the beautiful part I’m seeing. Not too many extremes.
You are right, an enjoyable 4 seasons in Reno. 😃
Thank you for this!!!!🎉
You’re welcome!

Does the humidity stay fairly low during all seasons as well?
It's higher in the winter and lower in the summer. weather-and-climate.com/average-monthly-Humidity-perc,reno-us,United-States-of-America
I been want to move to Reno but for
the rent is too much
Reno is a great place, but yes you are right. Rent can be expensive. That is true.
My boyfriend told me Reno in May is still a tad chilly. I don’t know whether to pack a sweater or a dress. Pls help!
The average high temp in May is 73 and the average low temp is 42. I would pack both. Enjoy your trip to Reno!
Thank you!
Lol
Sucks
The weather? Really? I’m originally from Hawaii and I think weather in Reno is pretty awesome.
