Usually with venison people either like it or they don't. But I'm telling you if you know how to cook deer meat correctly it is so delicious. It has always been a staple in our freezer. This lean healthy protein is a glorious gift from GOD.
That looks amazing. As a kid, my uncle would bring my mother deer roasts and she'd cook them and tell us it was roast beef lol. Once we realized it was deer meat, we loved it so it didn't matter lol.
Whoo! Reminds Me of What I ate after deer hunts as a kid . And You’re right about the corn bread ! A Big Ol’ cinder block of that with butter runnin’ off it would go well with such a bouquet of Good Southern Vittles!
I actually laid out a deer ham roast last night, im going to cook it this evening after work. I really enjoy your channel, have tried several of your recipes and they were all great!
@@ThePohto Hey Pohoto,i made that venison ham roast just like your video, only exception i used a can of Budweiser and cut up a green bell pepper, and might i say It was Mighty Fine! Just curious if you have any more wild game dishes. Thanx

Hi ya friend, my name is Rosemary and we. Plant Rosemary, so I know it when I see it. Yes you’re right it’s thyme.. I’ve cooked deer many a times, my hubby and friends do their hunting, and I cook it. Thanks for sharing. This method for deer is great because it’s so tasty and good for you..👍👍👍👍👍👍
We just finished our Christmas dinner using your recipe and it was great. My mother-in-law in Alabama gave us a bunch of deer meat and we had a real nice shoulder like the one you cooked. The only difference we ha was instead of cooking it on the stove top we put our the Le Creuset in the oven to cook it. Thanks for you video!
Hey brother. You have to try it one day almost the same way you did. Get a elk roast and marinate it in apple moonshine for 24 hours. Then braise it then pressure cook it with all the veggies. Fall apart meat and so flavorful bud. But you're also looked hella good 🤙🤙🤙🤙
DUDE!!!! Seriously, that really does have to be one of the best dishes that I have seen you make in a long time!!! IM gonna have to move near you so I can come over and taste your stuff!!!! ;-)
Sure is mighty fine looking meal I'll tell ya!! I love venison. I derr hunted most of my life until the last few years due to disability reasons, cant get in the woods. I get a lil bit when my friends bring me some thanfully. 👍☮🇺🇸 Have a blessed Thanksgiving🦃🍽🍗🙏
