I was there a week before it closed. And I made sure to stop at Lard Lad Donuts to get myself a cookies and cream giant donut. And as I was driving home, eating my donut, listening to the radio news seem to indicate an impending apocalypse, I thought to myself "wish I would have picked up two of these, oh well, I've got a season pass"..... A year later, I just want my giant cookies and cream donut.

Great video! You guys should start the Theme Park Food Hall of Fame. Inaugural inductees would be: from Disney - churro, turkey leg, and corn dog. From Universal - the pink donut, and butterbeer. From Knotts - fried chicken, elote corn on the cob, and anything boysenberry.
As a USH Team Member, this has been so fun to watch; an outsider's point of view is pretty rare to have. I recommend the chocolate churros, those actually do have a taste more than just sugar. Minions Cafe I personally liked better when it was Gru's Lab Cafe (bbq pulled pork grilled cheese and nachos in a tortilla bowl, as well as an actual meatball sub), but from the portion of the nachos and the size of the grilled cheese, I'm positive that their servings for Taste of Universal were smaller portions than what we used to serve.
How exciting to be there for the first day! 🤩 What was it like to walk around Hogsmeade with the music and look and feel, and not see rides going? Also what was your fave dessert at minion cafe ... it looked so cute!

Hollywood and Dine had a very good system they were using around 2:15. They had a person with a tablet processing orders and punching cards so you could chill until they called your order. Hopefully they'll have a team meeting and start using that more and at more locations like minions. It was very nice to meet you in the evening to get your banana pudding review. Great work!

I was there for our annual Meeting Planner Conference and got passes into the park with no wait for rides. The donut was the best. Took 5 home to share with my family 🤪
If you want Korean hot dogs, go to either Myungrang or Chung Chun. They also have versions with cheese or cheese/hot dog. Oh, Korean hot dogs usually have sauces like honey mustard or sweet chili. Chung Chun will often have Mochinuts (mochi donuts) and they have a Yuzu slushie that is really refreshing. Myungrang has a squid ink hot dog that colors the batter black. The videography on this video was impressive and Kitra's turkey leg experience was priceless!

It was strange but it mostly felt good to be back inside the park. We only had the hazelnut banana pudding there but it was very good

We were there at the end of the night and it was uncomfortably full. Lots of groups waiting for their food stuffed into a small space :/
