Yeah that was a fun video to make and it had diverse scores even if the top 5 was not that surprising. I was rooting for blue bird hehe. Diver certainly is one of the most underrated great songs. But that’s probably because Naruto has like 10 very popular openings.

How do you go about picking participants? And whats the criteria for the scores? I do anime opening and ending ratings myself with some friends and i have done all the naruto opening and endings. I have also rated the attack on titan openings but not the endings
@@jamesabbott3645 As for getting people, I take 28 each time. I chose this because I think any less is not worth the time investment (even though 28 means more time invested lol). I first pick any friends and family who have watched the show or have heard the music enough to have fun rating them and being in the video. For example in this video Rostam, Zora, Sakata, Yan, GP, Fariba, Rozie, Fara, Socoron, Kane, CD, and Dr. Chopper are my own friends and family, so 13 (including me) (this number will fluctuate every video). Then I ask people from the discord group I am in created by WXAnime (you should check his channel out, there are plenty of party ranks he has hosted). I ask people from his server, all of whom have been long time subscribers to me from my old channel that got removed last year and they have their own anime ranking channels you can check out as well. I generally ask the ones who have seen the show being rated, so even though there are a couple dozen of them I only take a few at a time. In this case they were WXAnime, Miku, Alians, Sammy, Batal, Yukio, Alvarety, & FloW. So that is 8 for a total of 21. The rest I leave to the subscribers of the channel. I always leave a pinned comment on the video prior to a party rank in which i list the songs to be rated and ask the viewers/subscribers to join. Last time it was 5 and this time it was 7, those being Harunaru(he has his own channel I recomment), morph, Stinky Senpai, Flux, Shisuna (has his/her own channel too), Titavokcs, and Mimzydog. This number will continue to grow for later videos (I hope as high as 15) as I'll want to incorporate subscribers more and more. However, the next video is AoT so probably just 5-10 for that one, we'll see. I hope that made sense. So, people I personally know, then other anime rankers from discord, and finally anyone who watches my videos and responds. I keep everyone updated in my video descriptions as to when a video with a pinned comment for party rankings is gonna be expected so anyone who wants to join is usually quick to do so. As for scores, I tell everyone to just rate however they like, but to keep them to .5 increments, so nothing like 8.2 or 5.7, just 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 and so on. I don't want to limit how anyone scores. I generally know what to expect from my friends/fam and fellow anirankers but the fun part is when subscribers participate because I have no idea what to expect from their scores, it makes each video diverse and new, whereas other channels that do party ranks with close groups or through google forms such as O'Manric or Kuma's channels are pretty much going to be the same everytime, you know what to expect from the rankers and anime community after just a few videos whereas I hope in this channel to have a core group that my subscribers will be familiar with plus a new group each time to keep things fresh and it can even be themselves if they're willing, so yeah hope that answers your questions.
