Bus driving 100% right, same with us, we tried to warn people and now a few of our family members have suffered because they chose to take the "thing".
Really enjoying these types of videos. Not only is it fun to watch people get funny about a drone but the views of these historical buildings are amazing!
Apart from most the footage is useless, theres no effort to capture anything well, or cinimatic, just an amatuer controlling a drone. Hes going there with the intention of confrontation hence why the drone skills are lacking. If he was going for drone shots, he would know by now how to take proper cinematic shots. Same with any auditor. They drag a drone round the place going left and right so its really useless footage.
@@mark2781 Thats a really good retort to my point. Again if these people were bothered about drone footage at all, theyd attempt to take something decent that isnt jittery and constantly panning about the place. Iit is clear it is just an after thought to bring in confrontation. Prove me wrong instead of silly ad hominem attacks.
Brilliant work mate...I always enjoy these vids...Also a shout out to Auditing Britain for reaching 300K subscribers today...I doubt DJE will mind me celebrating the guys achievement.
These estates & stately homes across England cost an absolute fortune each year to run & maintain. I can understand the National Trust getting edgy with potential income being lost, etc. But these places across Great Britain are beyond stunning😍! The world needs to view them!!! especially from the air!
Probably because they are busy behind the scenes lobbying the government for flight restriction zones to be introduced over their sites and are hoping they won't have to.
you can get much better footage made proper drone enthusiasts. Search for ' Warwick Castle 4K Drone Footage' and it looks a hell of a lot better than this amatuer stuff.
DJE, actually I think you need to operate the drone from public, not just launch it from public. So by launching it then walking in (to get a better view) I think you can be trespassed.
I can understand them being touchy here as they fly some very large birds of prey. Condors are part of the display (the display is awesome well worth watching). That said they don’t own the airspace.
If I had known you were going to Warwick, I would have told you where to go, so you could fly your drone over the castle without any hassle. 😁. Warwick is my home town, I grew up on the estate 2 mins walk from the Castle.
I remember going there when I was a wee lad.....man I do miss the UK and Europe's older history. The castles are fantastic! thanks again for an aerial historical view!!
Perhaps not. You can use the law to prevent them interfering with operating a drone. but, you may then be offering aggravated trespass. Noy my field (ha, ha) but there may be consequences.
@Cyber_Crows Whatever..🙄 My personal channel shows 7 years of flying...with no antagonism, I might add. - You just chime in with no facts, weeks later then, eh?

Pure stupidty for likes. Launching from public land then moving on to private property doesnt make it right. You say at 1 point you always follow the rules, but in this video you are in the wrong and looking for confrontation.
He is not in the wrong legally. Obviously it looks quite confrontational, but do remember this is a form of activism. It is quite clear auditors seek confrontation to educate people, but it is up to you if you think that's right or wrong.
The rules say you have to launch from Public Land. They do not specifically say you have to remain there. They do say you have to keep line of sight and orientation. It may be a grey area but it is open to interpretation as it stands.
The security guy, was sound respect for him being very reasonable. DJE, in fairness you know full well ,you did launch the drone from Public, but came back on their site as the drone was out of sight . In doing so you were back on their land flying the drone..
You dont need number plates on private land, im assuming the road where the tractors were was inside the grounds on a private road therefore no number plates needed?
The grounds looked very nice indeed. If they offered a 10% discount for viewers I’d even visit. Some of the staff there were decent, it looks a nice place to work to be fair.
Thank you for the amazing footage of Warwick Castle. I was going to visit it this summer, but after reading the online reviews I decided not to. In summary they said the place is a rip off. Apparently they try and get money out of you at every opportunity starting with the car park.
The point at which you walk back onto private land "just so I can see it" is where you loose me. Before that you are in the right, after that you are in the wrong, pure baiting and look silly. Stop being desperate for more filler material at that point.
He is still right legally. You can do it, the landing is a little bit meh. But then you have to remember that there are no laws against it really and it was to speak with the security guy who came. This is a form of activism, don't forget it. Definitely not there to be compromising because then people would never learn.
I went to Warwick Castle a few years ago, had to leave the place, in tears. It was in the dungeon, I got the most awful feelings there, the echos of the suffering of the poor souls who were tortured there.
6:00 Sony A7. A real proper camera. I don't have time to do audits, but I do use my lunch break to go out and take some photos. I would recommend he do the same whilst he's waiting for his passengers. Its amazing what you can photograph when you switch your brain into looking mode.
The guideline about not taking off from a private property is mainly about large drones that need some space and organisation for their landing spot. A DJI mini hardly needs any. A DJI Neo can take off from your hand so it won't even touch the ground. If a drone is not even allowed to launch from your hand, then they won't even allow paper airplanes. Though they'll say it's different because of the camera and privacy. Which can easily be countered by the whole place being a public place.

I understand why you’d want to fly a drone over the site, but they do have birds of prey on site, and I know first hand how terrifying a drone in the air is to an eagle, or a bird of prey in general. I can definitely understand why they get abit funny with drones, especially with animals on site. Was this taken into consideration before the flight?
I am not being funny but a music background would be a bit better than your heavy breathing, just a bit more time editing would pay off your footage aint too bad, you could talk over later it just makes me cringe.
I think the security guard is referring to another site which allows you to put an area on it where you would like if people wouldn't fly but it doesn't hold any legal weight. Applying for and successfully getting a no fly zone anywhere in the country for pretty much anything is exceptionally difficult. Airports / airfields and prisons are automatically added for obvious reasons but I believe there are only a couple of sites in the UK (up North somewhere I believe) where a private company have been able to get a no fly zone but they are seriously on-the-fringe cases and the CAA do not just hand out NFZs without seriously good reason.
