Get yourself a damp tester, so easy to check yourself. After emptying flusher after a trip, whiz the flush motor a few times to dry it. Just a couple of tips.

As they say Paul, they all have faults but it's not about the fault, it's about how the dealer responds and you've got a great dealer. All credit to them for being so responsive. 👏 👏👏

Hi Paul owning a caravan can be stressful we had a older van had trouble nothing major then 2 years ago bought a brand new swift all our problems were mainly outside on bodywork and some internal and I will say no matter what caravan manufacturer there will be problems old or new van but I can see you are all sorted mate and looks a fantastic job all the best mate great video 👍

Paul I own the same model and year caravan as you and before your guarantee runs out check the underside of the floor, on my caravan the GRP outer skin of the floor underneath had delaminated in the area between the door and the kitchen, about a square meter had detached, there was a problem with the glue that they bonded the floors on all Swift models that year and some had to go back to the factory to have whole new floors fitted, get underneath and have a poke around and make sure thee are no ripples in the skin as that is the start of it, mine was out of guarantee and I had to pay £800 to get it repaired

Hi Paul glad you got the caravan sorted an sounds like the dealer did a great job 👍 can’t fault them. As I’ve said before I had a coachman an in 3yrs of ownership I only had to change a brake bulb outside. I’ve had my 2018 swift 2 yrs and have spent a lot of money trying to sort it out and it’s still not 100%. Maybe I bought a lemon I don’t know. But it’s 2024 so really should we be getting these sort of problems after spending our hard earned cash on caravans in this day an age?? I don’t know mate but one thing is for sure if i was new to caravanning this would certainly put me off it and I’d want to get shut of it. Like you said you been caravanning for a very long time like ourselves and this is our third caravan so we know what to expect but surely the manufacturers should be doin a better job now. Hope everything ok from now on mate 👍take care

Fantastic news Paul, and what a great dealership, certainly going above and beyond in my eyes, if carlsberg did caravan dealers ..... 😂 So glad its all turned out good, and your right all caravans will and do have problems, the very nature of towing a flimsy box at up to 60mph on british roads and the never ending vibration this causes then factor in banging over speed ramps and potholes, its a miracle they even make it to the campsite in one piece, never mind one lose screw !! 😂😂

Look like a great van. The credit card crack? This is just a piece of trim and is not there to seal the van. It covers the real seal. I say this so you don't worry about it. Dealers are great with sealant and glad you are happy with their solution. The Alde leak is just sods law but glad it's fixed before it caused any bigger issues.
