Although very similar in looks and teachings they are both extremely unique and wonderful in their own right in my opinion. For instance, Eckhart would never use the term "c##t power" as heard in Barry's "how to make love" talk. Haha
It's not that Eckhart Tolle got everything from Barry Long. As Barry explains, all those who go to his teachings have a certain degree of intelligence which makes them attracted to 'this' level of master. The teachings are similar because they are the truth - and as BL says 'there is only one truth'.
