Did you ever see the administrator attend the finals or tournaments? When I played sports, my greatest achievement was the stands filled with our teachers and administrators cheering for our success. Even converted my music teacher from the darkness of disliking athletes, to becoming supportive and involved with coaching!!! Yes I attended the music program concerts too. School is where a student learns what interests them and their own talents.

Breaks my heart listening to the first 10 minutes of this video. It was brought to my attention that I should watch this video, and in doing so it honestly made me lose my respect for you guys. 1. My injury should not be broadcasted on your youtube channel. I’ve made it a point not to talk about my shoulder injury throughout the whole season, but here you guys are talking about how I didn’t wrestle because of an injury that I had to take care of to get through the rest of my season. Not to mention, you weren’t even there when I got injured, NOR do you know everything I did to get back onto the mat. Rachel, you are downplaying me receiving the Wrestler of the Year before the award was even given out. 2. If you want to compare me and Mariah to each other, why don’t you list all of the accomplishments between us to. I COULDNT WRESTLE AT WONDERWOMAN THIS YEAR BECAUSE IT WASN’T ON MY SCHEDULE, and on top of that I was injured. But when I wrestled in it last year, why don’t you compare me and Mariah’s placements. It’s just so crazy to me, comparing me to my ex teammate when i’m not even at Matanzas anymore. I don’t think my name should be brought up into anything that relates to Matanzas or any of their wrestlers. Usually, I don’t like speaking out about me and my involvement leaving Matanzas but this is one of the main reasons why I left! 3. Wonderwoman is not BY FAR one of the hardest “in season tournaments”, yet it is to you guys because Mariah lost a match to a state champ, someone ranked higher than her. Rankings don’t mean anything. My teammate that wrestled Mariah at Spartan is certainly ranked way lower than Mariah. Yet you and everyone else at Matanzas High School (or was) are so stuck on SOCIAL PUBLICITY rather than facing the truth. Just sad.
I would never say anything negative about you and we also didn’t say anything bad about you in the video. I think you’re a great wrestler and great human. I respect your talent and how far you’ve come. I understand your concern, and would like to give some insight on the situation. The truth is the truth, you were injured at the beginning of the season and came back closer to the end to wrestle some tournaments, and then the state series. That’s not a secret to anyone. You did great in the tournaments you did wrestle, but the fact is, I wrestled more matches and tougher matches. You talk about us being compared, but you’re the one comparing. You’re a great wrestler and I know you work hard. The award came down to the two of us, with us both being state champs and national champs. The fact that I lost the award over one match and I live in the same county as the only other girls national folkstyle champion in all of Florida, is all unfortunate. If anyone deserves to be a little disappointed, it should be me. You got the award, not me. Are you saying I didn’t deserve the award also? I would never compare the two of us as we wrestle two different weight classes and are both great wrestlers. If you’d like too, I did have a harder season. I wrestled some of the toughest tournaments you can find during the season and I proved a lot of people wrong. I went to knockout, the biggest southeast tournament during season, where I was predicted to place 3rd, and I won that. I went to Wonder Woman, which is one of the toughest girls tournaments in season, in the nation and I was predicted to place 5th, I went and placed 2nd. I went to high school nationals, where in the previous year I didn’t even place, and I won that. Did I lose a match, yes. Did I have tougher matches, yes. Did you and I both deserve the award, yes. I am happy you received the award and I deserve to be a little disappointed that I lost that opportunity even when I’m also a national champion. However, I was still extremely happy for you when your name was announced at that award ceremony. I even congratulated you afterward. Also if we want to talk about publicly talking about people, I remember a couple months ago, your parents publicly posted many things about how “immature and childish” my sister and I are. I have moved on from this, but if you want to talk about publicly talking about someone else, how about starting with not talking about me first. We were just stating the facts of the situation in the video. I hope you continue to have a lot of success and I still think you are an amazing wrestler! ❤

I would never say anything negative about you and we also didn’t say anything bad about you in the video. I think you’re a great wrestler and great human. I respect your talent and how far you’ve come. I understand your concern, and would like to give some insight on the situation. The truth is the truth, you were injured at the beginning of the season and came back closer to the end to wrestle some tournaments, and then the state series. That’s not a secret to anyone. You did great in the tournaments you did wrestle, but the fact is, I wrestled more matches and tougher matches.
You talk about us being compared, but you’re the one comparing. You’re a great wrestler and I know you work hard. The award came down to the two of us, with us both being state champs and national champs. The fact that I lost the award over one match and I live in the same county as the only other girls national folkstyle champion in all of Florida, is all unfortunate. If anyone deserves to be a little disappointed, it should be me. You got the award, not me. Are you saying I didn’t deserve the award also?
I would never compare the two of us as we wrestle two different weight classes and are both great wrestlers. If you’d like too, I did have a harder season. I wrestled some of the toughest tournaments you can find during the season and I proved a lot of people wrong. I went to knockout, the biggest southeast tournament during season, where I was predicted to place 3rd, and I won that. I went to Wonder Woman, which is one of the toughest girls tournaments in season, in the nation and I was predicted to place 5th, I went and placed 2nd. I went to high school nationals, where in the previous year I didn’t even place, and I won that. Did I lose a match, yes. Did I have tougher matches, yes. Did you and I both deserve the award, yes. I am happy you received the award and I deserve to be a little disappointed that I lost that opportunity even when I’m also a national champion. However, I was still extremely happy for you when your name was announced at that award ceremony. I even congratulated you afterward.
Also if we want to talk about publicly talking about people, I remember a couple months ago, your parents publicly posted many things about how “immature and childish” my sister and I are. I have moved on from this, but if you want to talk about publicly talking about someone else, how about starting with not talking about me first. We were just stating the facts of the situation in the video. I hope you continue to have a lot of success and I still think you are an amazing wrestler! ❤
