That manifold was stolen from the display booth,they left for the night and when they returned in the morning it was gone

I would think the sema show with the millions of dollars worth of cars and millions in parts and tools sitting in the floor they would have Lazer beam grids and tons of roaming security especially at night.

You should have called the police and got that guy to say where he got it from. That guy knew for sure because he did not seem to be pissed as you were taking it. If I bought something and trying to sell it (obviously for a good sum of money) whether you had documents or not, I’m getting a cop on the scene for legality reasons.
You would probably still leave with it, but to cover my own ass, I’m gonna make sure I’m legally not a suspect because I’m sure that’s a felony charge dollar amount wise.

Idk much about cars but if there are only 2 ever made why are they parading it around to car shows? Do they make a not so fancy version and they are just showing this shiny one off? Why is there only 2 and what is so great about those 2? As a layman it’s confusing. I probably could watch the whole video and get that info but this was randomly recommended to me and I skimmed through it. If you could explain it to me like I’m 5 that would be cool.
So this intake was custom made by Frankenstein for 3 stages of nitrous. Typically we have to weld in bungs/modify intakes to put nitrous on them. This was a one off deal made specifically for us to show off their high quality manifolds and our high quality nitrous systems

Unless that manifold was serialized that whole exchange could have went completely different in California, as in had it changed hands two or three times you could have been forced to give that manifold back to him at the scene. It could have been considered a civil problem
Negative even if it was exchanged, it had police report and was reported stolen.
It's a civil matter in _any_ state. They could have gotten the cops involved, drawn out the legal process, but at the end of the day, possession is what matters.

chances are its also patented or patent pending so thats a hard bargain to drive too. it doesnt belong to anyone other than the maker.
