Love the zinnias. Your crape myrtle is stunning, I love the color.

The new zinnias are wonderful! Love that hibiscus--set to wonder if I could grow one here in Colorado. You always have great ideas and information that helps others!!!
It’s worth a try to see if it will grow for you! Might have to dig it up and put it in a greenhouse for the winter though!
Another great day in the garden! 👩🏼🌾 the cantaloupe look delish hope they grow well on the trellis
I’m so excited for them!

Good info.
Glad it was helpful!
This year I’ve been growing Laura Bush Petunias and they are still going strong! I live just south of Austin. They seem to tolerate our heat just fine. I found seed packs at wildseed farms. They are located in Fredricksburg. I love your hibiscus!
Ooo, I’ll go look them up, thanks!
I love the profusion zinnia series! It's low maintenance and is so pretty! I am actually going out today to try to find some to replace some red verbena that got attacked by spider mites and died. Spider Mites are so bad this year with the heat.
Spider mites are super bad this year … I just found some on my marigolds and now I’m trying to decide if I should try to save them or just start more from seed.

I think your red crape Myrtle is either Red Rocket or Dynamite. I absolutely love your profusion zinnias and your hardy hibiscus! ❤
Oh good to know, thank you!

I feel your pain about the heat and humidity I'm in San Antonio!😅
Ugh it’s rough in your area!
Good morning. You are amazing. Saying it the way it is. If you don't like watering then by all means do the drip irrigation systems. For me, l love watering. Everybody is different. That is what makes us all diverse.
Well said!
Have you planted your baby pumpkins yet? Baby boo and jack be little.
I have not and I’m not sure I will have room for them this year!
I love squash and cantelope I just can't keep up with dumb squash bugs!
Yeah, I’m going to try a few tricks and report back to yall … I’m thinking I’m going to keep them covered in netting and hand pollinate …. Of course I say that but let’s see my drive when the time comes 😂
Where can I get a plannting mat like yours? I want to start some sees-you have inspired me, I am in zone 8b in Louisiana. Love your videos.
I have them linked in my Amazon Storefront in the description of my video!
This is actually a question on seed sowing now.
I just received some perennial seeds. I'm thinking of trying to get them going, planting them in early Sept. to winter over in the ground with the hope they'll come back and bloom next year.
Should I sow them like I would spring seeds, under grow lights 16 hours, and in seed trays? Outside in seed trays? Outside in an unheated greenhouse (like yours but smaller).
Have you ever put your perennial seeds in wet paper towels in the refrigerator to simulate winter cold, and try to presprout them?
I got a free pack of seeds of each perennial I ordered so I have some leeway to experiment.
Thanks, I appreciate your thoughts.
Yes I start my perennials seeds during the summer, plant them out on the fall, and then overwinter them. I start them inside under grow lights.
